We, at 101 Collision Center, specialize in collision-​related repairs, ranging from typical fender-​benders, suspension, windshield, and complete paint jobs to classic car restoration, especially Volkswagen Vanagons, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, Subaru, Chrysler, GM, and Ford.

We offer different options for complete paint jobs, ranging from single stage, 2 stage and 3 stage paint jobs. The single stage is the most affordable of the three stages, which is perfect for some customers with those older utility vehicles, like a 1990 Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, or the Volkswagen Vanagon or the Eurovan.

History

Established in 1994.

101 Collision Center was established in 1994 in Berkeley, CA, specializing collision-​related repairs and complete paint jobs. Within a few months of our inception, we managed to gain the trust and confidence from our customers and their friends and families to repair their vehicles. Gradually, we expanded to the surrounding areas, like Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Emeryville, Oakland, and Santa Clara.

101 Collision Center remains true to its roots and traditions. We focus on building trust with our customers that have become our friends.

Business Owner

I really ended up in this business by accident. I always had fascination with cars and the physics behind them since I was a child, but never thought I would end up doing this professionally. I took classes in high school and college as my electives, just because I was really into cars.

However, after graduating from University of the Pacific in Stockton, in 1994, with a B.S. degree in international business relations, fate had something else in store for me. A friend in the collision-​related business invited me to help manage the business. I accepted the offer, not thinking I would stay for the long term, but I did.

After several years with 101 Auto Body, my friends, the owners, decided to retire from business. They offered to sell me the business, and the rest was history. I bought the business and used the existing business as my springboard to expand to the surrounding markets, which included Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, and Santa Clara
