History

Established in 2012.

I’ve always been a visual and artistic creature and have always been observing the world around me, and learning about our experiences as people.

After studying Ethnic Studies and Theater & Performance Studies, I began making portraits for actors, models, creatives, and people. I was a Photojournalist and Editor at the Daily Californian, a nationally recognized newspaper at UC Berkeley, and have had the opportunity to work as a portrait and event photographer for many organizations in the Bay Area.

I try to maintain a theatrical-​driven approach to my photography in order to create photographs that are authentic & personal. I believe the most interesting photographs are those that tell a thoughtful story, whether through character, relationships, or the moment to moment details that occur.

Lorenz Angelo is a commercial, portrait, and wedding photographer working in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

With a background in theater, he loves being a storyteller of all kinds, and occasionally acts and directs in many theater productions around the Bay Area.
