HDR Remodeling

The swift and prompt reply from the owner Philip prompted me to reverse my negative review. It turned out to be a honest misunderstanding between us and we are now back on schedule to begin the reno! Thanks guys!

We had always hoped to build a deck in our multi-​level, unattractive yard, and HDR made that happen. They were helpful at every stage of the project and all levels of the organization. The design team was cooperative and imaginative. Project management was professional and attentive. Estimated start and finish dates were exact, permits were delivered, adjustments easily accommodated, and change orders minimal. The contracts were clear and billing was courteous. The construction staff, in particular, were expert, orderly, attentive to our needs, respectful of our property. All this at a cost that was reasonable and uncomplicated by conditions. HDR helped make our dreams a reality.

We recently used HDR for remodeling and expanding our 3 bathrooms and a few other projects around the house. We first worked closely with Jim and Tim for designing, and then with Chris, Alfredo, and Philip for the rest of the process. The entire team is friendly, professional, well-​informed in their fields, and overall very pleasant to work with.
HDR cares very much about client satisfaction and worked with us from beginning to end to make sure we got what we wanted. There were no real problems throughout the entire process, and the small issues that came up were resolved thoroughly. In the end, very happy with the outcome and will return to HDR if we do more work on the house.

We worked with HDR on three extensive phases of remodeling at our house. The work included converting a sauna to a laundry room, installing hardwood floors throughout the upper level of the house, redoing the layout of and revamping the kitchen, installing a new garage door, updating bathrooms, and redoing some of the exterior finish. We could not be happier with the work. Jim and his design team provided excellent advice and took the time to understand our needs and preferences. Philip, Chris, and Juan were terrific on the production side and did high quality work. It was a pleasure to work with HDR, and we have since recommended them to our family and friends in the area.

HDR was great; their attention to detail made our first big home renovation project a wonderful experience. We knew they were good and trustworthy and reliable: we did our homework before choosing who to work with, but we had no idea the level of service we would receive from them.
They listened to us and understood what we wanted. They asked us what our top priorities were and within a few days, showed us exactly what we had in mind. They filtered out what we didn’t want, they didn’t waste our time and always came prepared.
It is clear they are exceptional at their job; knowledgeable and easy to work with. They helped us assess the pros and cons of each decision we needed to make. There wasn’t a moment when we didn’t think they had our best interests at heart.
Remodeling can be very emotional, with some frustration and disappointment, anxiety and excitement. HDR provided sound advice and remained steady throughout the process.
Although everything was mostly smooth, there were some bumps in the road; HDR managed them with grace and diplomacy. They were easy to reach, professional, organized, efficient, open to suggestions and flexible.
We appreciate all of the time and efforts they put into working with us. They were patient with our questions, and we always felt as if we were important. We love our new kitchen, and feel fortunate to have worked with a team that made the process seem so easy.

I’ve been using HDR and previously Honey Do Repair for 18 years. I have had numerous small repairs done as well as several larger projects. They are always professional and helpful and I highly recommend them.

We just completed a bathroom remodel with HDR Remodel and we are so happy with both the finished product and the experience. This was our first remodeling project/​experience and they really guided us through it. Jim provided great design advice, and was very patient about providing us choices that worked with our budget. He offered lots of great suggestions along the way but always let us make the final decision, and never pressured us one way or the other. Jim was even completely understanding when I decided to contract out the frameless shower door myself to a glass company since they could do it much cheaper. Other than the shower door, his team took care of ordering all the materials and coordinating the work.
Before construction started, Philip made sure to spell out how they would access the house, how they would contain the area to minimize exposure of dust/​dirt to the rest of the house, and asked us to share any concerns/​apprehensions that we had so they could do their best to address/​prevent them. Guillermo did most of the construction work and was fantastic. Throughout construction, all the workers were very respectful and tried to minimize disturbance to our daily lives, while still providing regular updates on progress or any issues. It was fun to come home each day and see how the bathroom was coming along. We felt we were in good hands the entire time, the job was well-​coordinated, and the quality of their work really shows!

I am a kitchen designer and I have been working with different companies on site for many years, the best company I have ever worked is HDR Remodeling. The designer Jim Tibbs from HDR is a reliable and responsible designer. I went many job meetings with Jim from design phase to job finished, I watched how his care of his client and gave the best attention to his client to achieve their dream kitchen. I was so amazed by his talent and paying lots attention to his client’s need. The quality and HDR’s services is the best to compare other companies I have worked with. I really like HDR Remodeling.
