East Bay Luxor Cab

Warning!!! Don’t ever use this cab company. Our hotel called this company to pick us up around 5:15. They showed up at 5:00p.m. They turned the meter on without our knowledge and were suppose to take us to our destination to Pier 40. The driver was driving crazy and almost wrecked twice and instead of going through the toll because the driver did not want to wait in traffic they went in the bus lane (which is illegal for them to do). The driver dropped us off at Pier 39 and told us to walk straight ahead. We payed the cab driver including having to pay for the extra 15min that the driver was sitting out side waiting for us due to their error for coming early but left us no choice but to get in the cab because of reservations we had for dinner. So we continue to walk down the direction that the driver told us to walk and his reason for not dropping us off directly in front was because «it was a one way street» and he couldn’t take the cab down that street. We ended up asking a person walking where pier 40 was because we were lost and the person told us Pier 40 was a long walk and the opposite way by At&t park. We ended up having to pay for another cab to take us back to Pier 40. This cab company ruined my trip. I want to warn anybody especially anyone who doesn’t live in the city to not use this company. They robbed us of our money and dropped us off at the wrong spot with no care at all. Not only did we pay them to take us to the wrong destination, we had to pay for another cab (from another company) to take us to the correct location. They are very crooked and I notice the owner of the company tends to tell everyone that gives this company a bad review for their poor customer service that they are mistaking them for another company. I’ve called the owner many times and they keep telling me he is not available to call back.

Was almost hit by a cab driver last week and had to call in a complaint regarding the cabbie driving recklessly in Cab #350; he was busy checking his phone, was moving when he should have stopped for pedestrians and almost hit me as I was crossing the street.
Spoke with a gentleman at their call center, employee #215, and reasoned it probably wasn’t the cabbie’s day and was going to take him off the streets due to the complaint.
Seriously, do your job or get off the streets, you’re putting others at danger driving recklessly!

This is possibly the worst cab service in the city! I called to ask for a cab in 15 minutes… really not a difficult request. Then I get a call 5 minutes later telling me my cab is here! That isn’t what I requested! So I had to call and cancel the cab since I know the driver won’t wait and asked for a new cab to come in 15 minutes…30 minutes later I AM STILL WAITING!!! Luxor, this is ridiculous. I wish I could give no stars!

Just used them. Had an emergency at home and needed to get across town PRONTO. They picked me up within 5 mins of my call, took me to my destination quickly, waited for me to finish, and then took me back! Quick, reliable & friendly. Would use them again.
