Don was a referral from a neighbor. He was a pleasure to work with! He was patient with providing solutions for each of the issues we presented. He remedied our leaky deck, patched our daughter’s ceiling, cut a hatch for attic access and caulked our bath tub. He was extremely responsive and persistent when one of the issues was not entirely resolved from the initial work. Thank you to Don for your professionalism and a job well done! It’s nice to know that we have a trustworthy contact for future projects/​issues in our home.

a rarity to be able to offer flat-​out, no-​hesitation praise) that my recent and first hiring of Don fulfilled my needs rapidly and inexpensively. Don is a considerate gent, a widely skilled worker, and a true mensch.

My wife and I hired Don to help us on two projects recently: the removal of a small interior wall and the installation of several recessed lights. Don’s carpentry and electrical work very good — and I appreciated the fact that he made every effort to communicate progress, problems, etc., with me in advance. I will definitely use Don again.

We found Don through the Rockridge News. He is a general construction guy that is a Jack of all trades, good at all. He does Electrical, Carpentry and Remodels. We phoned him to come out and give us an estimate of some work that we needed done immediately. It involved a wall that our kitchen shared with our in-​law unit and we had a tenant moving in 5 days later. No pressure. Don was on time for the appointment. Very thorough with the plan. He was extremely reliable and dependable. I was able to have him take care of everything while we were not at home. He is licensed, and yet still very competitive on his fees.
Overall the jobs were done very well and we will be hiring him again very soon to do more work. I can say only good things about working with him and hope that this great Unilocal review does not book him up too much to work with us.
