What a team! Truly outstanding professionals who understand and respect the personal side of selling a home. They understand the uniqueness of the marketplace as well as the buying behaviors. They are top flight communicators and are honest with all of their dealings. They drove all of the prep work for the sale including magnificent staging.

They guided me as I contemplated selling my home, went through a major remodel — including working with permitting, etc. — and then of course staging, marketing and selling. Before our house hunt began, we asked around for agent recommendations, but heard nothing but horror stories from friends who had braved the Bay Area housing market. We found Lee and Tracy through the Red Oak website, simply because we saw a lot of the realty’s signs around Berkeley. They proved to be the best choice we possibly could have made! Lee and Tracy guided us through a tight market, listening carefully to what we were looking for, helping us find open houses to attend, and coaching us through the offer process (which is bewildering if you haven’t done it before). Every email was answered, often within the hour. Every phone call was returned. Lee and Tracy are extremely talented professionals who understand how overwhelming looking for a home can be. We never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Instead, Lee and Tracy open their networks to put us in contact with contractors, roofers and other people who could help us make the best choice. In the end, we found our absolute dream home, something we weren’t sure was possible in this market. Although we hope to stay put for a long, long time, we can’t wait to recommend Lee and Tracy to anyone who asks.

Lee was our realtor when we purchased our first home in 2001 and has remained so since. Lee Goodwin is an excellent realtor, she’s very capable and extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to her clients. We bought our first house with her during the last real estate bubble of 2002. Lee told us about a fixer in an «up an coming neighborhood» which turned out to be Temescal, right before it blossomed into the hipster haven it’s become. After 7 years and 2 kids, we outgrew our sweet little house. It was 2009, after the crash, the recession was setting in and the real estate market was all but dead. Lee and Tracy used their remarkable marketing skills and sold our house in record time and with a very good profit despite the financial crisis. Our next house proved to be tremendously difficult to buy. It was a long and torturous six months before we knew for sure that the sale would go through, between the overly cautious banks and the incompetent seller’s agent, it was a total nightmare. Lee remained calm, cool and collected and expertly navigated us through the process. She’s amazing!

Tracy and Lee are terrific agents. They are both so calm and real and capable. Tracy helped me buy a condo in Berkeley in 2004 and sell it in 2013, so I have known her for a while. Both times her advice was right on. This time, as a working mom with little time to devote to the sale, I especially appreciated how Tracy and Lee took care of so many details, making the sale so much easier for me. They are really knowledgable about the area and the process — I could truly trust them, and they totally delivered. The condo went for WAY over asking and even faster than originally estimated. I can’t recommend them enough.

I just closed on my first place and I had the best possible experience working with Tracy Davis (half of the Davis/​Goodwin team). She is so knowledgeable and unflappable I really believe she preserved my sanity. Tracy did a great job finding properties for me to see and recommending neighborhoods to explore. She knows the East Bay and introduced me to little areas I’d never seen, and I’ve lived here my whole life! The home buying process was generally smooth and any snags we hit with the seller or my mortgage lender were quickly resolved by Tracy. We closed on time because she really kept everything moving along. She was always available to answer questions or offer advice and I never once felt pressured when making a decision large or small. I really cannot speak highly enough of her. I would definitely love to work with Tracy again, although she got us into such a perfect place I feel we will be here for a while!
