Specialties
We provide quality tutoring in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Spanish, Persian and ESL to the East Bay’s private and public schools, colleges and universities. Created and ran by UC Berkeley students. Here at BTC we do not simply provide assistance with a course or a subject; we provide something much more valued, friendship and mentoring.
It is our goal to create a comfortable and friendly environment for our clients, which is why we have chosen to provide our services at your favorite cafes and/or libraries around Berkeley. It is our mission to provide quality and friendly service to private and public school, college, and university students that we would have wanted and expected out of a tutoring coalition.
History
Established in 2009.
As former and continuing students, we know that success in a course is based on the work that one puts in it. However, a little help on the side makes that work much more efficient and less distressful. Therefore, we guarantee to provide our best service to each and every one of our clients to help them succeed in their courses. We know that asking questions in a classroom can be uncomfortable, thus we guarantee to provide an intimate and friendly environment in order to make our clients feel comfortable enough to be able to ask any questions about their course, as we feel that «no question is a stupid question.» We encourage Q&A sessions to clear any concern or uncertainty about a topic, and stress the fact that «if YOU have a question about it, then at least ONE other person has the same question.» That is why we have added an additional 15-minutes to each session for follow-up questions and/or counseling about academics/careers, free of charge!

Graduated with B.A. in Physics and B.A. in Astrophysics from the University of California at Berkeley.
Tutoring skills include: Physics, Math, Chemistry, Spanish and Persian. Also offers counseling assistance and tips for future transfer students.
