Guitar lessons for everyone, ages 6 and up! Absolute beginner — Advanced in every style! My teaching style is casual with a heavy emphasis on the basics. I teach contemporary styles: Rock, Alternative, Acoustic, Pop, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Progressive, Reggae, Folk, Metal, Shred and more.

Hi, my name is Aaron Asghari. I began playing guitar at the age of 14 and its been a passion of mine ever since. As much as I loved playing guitar from the very beginning, it was not always easy to progress. Yet, private guitar instruction from a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher motivated me to push myself beyond my skill level little by little, every day. Private lessons offer students the complete attention of the instructor and allows each student to progress at their own pace. Private Instruction also allows each and every student to travel down their own musical path focusing on the specific topics and musical genres that interest them.

At the age of 14, Aaron attended an Iron Maiden concert and was inspired to pick up a guitar. He began taking lessons and quickly found a love for the instrument. As a senior in High school Aaron began to expand on his heavy metal background and was part of the Del Campo High School Jazz Band. In 2004 Aaron began playing lead guitar for the local metal band Necromancer. He recorded an EP and played a number of gigs with them before they disbanded. At the age of 20 Aaron moved to Hollywood to attend the world renowned Musician’s Institute G.I.T. program. There he had the opportunity to study with the likes of Jimmy Wyble, Jeff Young, Scott Henderson, and Ross Bolton in many different styles. Aaron graduated from M.I. in 2008 and moved back to Sacramento and began teaching. In 2012 Aaron moved to the bay area and joined Vallejo based metal band Death Under Fire.
