History

Established in 2004.

I have been teaching guitar and bass for 8 years to students of all experience levels ranging from ages 5 – 60! I create a unique curriculum for each of my students based on their individual interests and needs. All of my students get a strong base in practical theory, technique, and rhythmic awareness. I teach musical styles ranging from pop, jazz, blues, rock, folk, and funk. My holistic approach to teaching ensures that students get the theory, technique, musical awareness, and aural development necessary to become a strong musician, all while having fun and enjoying the process!

Whether you or your child have never played guitar or bass, or you have been playing for years and want to keep learning, I will help you gain knowledge and fulfillment from music!

Business Owner

Luke is a guitarist, bassist, and teacher currently living and working in the Bay Area of California. Luke has been playing music for 11 years and teaching for 8. He studied bass under the tutelage of Kermit Driscoll and Mark Helias and guitar and jazz theory with guitar legend Glenn Alexander. After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in Jazz Performance, Luke actively performed in New York and toured with his band Big Tree.

Luke has a passion for music and teaching that makes his lessons an engaging and enriching experience.
