Our group of trained chefs take every clients needs and make it there own. We specialize in everything from weddings, birthdays, baby showers, bachelor & bachelorette parties, catered business lunches, personal chef services, Greek chapter meal plans, and even special diets such as; vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, paleo, and any other restrictions that you may have.

Established in 2010.

Artistic Taste 7 in a chef driven creative food service company. Here at our company we would like to change the way that you see food by giving fresh local and flavorful food at an affordable price. Artistic Taste 7 was started by Chef Rashad a third generation chef, he started this company as a way to express not only his passion for food but also his passion for serving people great food. With time and passion that has been put into developing this company as a word a month business it’s now time to share the taste of Artistic Taste 7 with the world.

I am the owner and Head Chef Rashad Armstead, I have exceeded in the culinary world for many years and continued my passion in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Ga and Modesto, Ca. One thing I Strive towards is exceptional customer service and exquisite cuisines, thought the years I have grown into a seasoned Chef and becoming a force in the food service industry. As a Culinary Arts Graduate and over 10 years experience, I know what it takes to develop a creative menu, understand customer budgets, and provide unforgettable meals, redefining the meaning of a true Chef. In my past, I acquired many skills and techniques in several areas of the culinary world and worked in every position in the Food industry. I now view my working experience as a seed, watered with creativity, treated with ambition, and now sprouted into my very own Food Service business, Artistic Taste 7.

Ran into these good folks at the Ashby Flea Market. Had the Jerk Chicken, mac n cheese, greens, yams and potato salad. AMAZING!!! LOVED IT!!! Loved their energy and passion… look forward to having them cater an event for my job in the near future. Hope they get that food truck sooner than later.

I had their BBQ at a luncheon event at a coworking space I frequent. It was super tasty. The meats were all so tender and just cooked perfectly. And everyone loved the smokey flavor. There were a handful of sides to choose from, so that was cool. I was a big fan of the mac’n’cheese. The price was right and Chef Rashad is a super cool dude with some mad BBQ skills. Looking forward to the day they get a food truck so I can have their food more often.

I’ve never written a review before, but felt I needed to let people know about this place due to the outrageously late arrival of their catering. They were supposed to arrive 30 minutes ago, but still haven’t arrived yet. I’m bored out of my mind. Please Help!
Update: it was actually really good. Come sooner next time!

The company catered in food from Artistic taste and I must admit it was pretty tasty. I’m not a big fan of mustard but still ate the mustard sugar salmon because it was so moist and yummy. Garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good too (garlic flavor on the mild side). Squash was cooked really well too! Not mushy nor too hard. And who can resist candy yams with pecans? I can if they’re overly sweet but not this place! Yah. I can see why they have 5 stars review.
I did take one star away since they were 40 or so minutes late but hey that would be because of really bad traffic or something out of their control. Looking forward to having them come again. :) Oh and food was still warm.

My daughter and I just returned home from the Berkeley Ashby Flea market, and we want to sing the praises of Artistic Taste 7! Their food is GOOD! I had the pulled pork with cole slaw, potato salad, and collard greens — my daughter had the pork ribs, with red beans and rice, and potato salad… oh! And don’t forget about the sweet iced tea! ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! We shared, as we both thought what we had gotten was the best — we were both right! Have always loved going to the flea market, but now I will have another reason to go… We will both definitely be eating at this booth again!

I’m a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at UC Berkeley, and we used Artistic Taste 7 to cater our annual professors dinner this year, and chef Rashad blew them out of the water. All the courses were delicious and prepared beautifully, and most importantly, our guest professors were very impressed. We only paid 10 $ per person, too

Great place to have brunch, lunch, dinner or just to socialize with friends after a long day of work. The food is AMAZING! I’m not a big dessert person but I do enjoy their sweet treats they have on the menu.
The main course are healthy, rich and hardy. The food looks like beautiful works of art. I enjoy this place. It’s one of my favorite places to din when I’m in California. I recommend this place to single people ready to mingle, to couples and to newlyweds. Greet atmosphere and customer service.
