I trust this place to do an amazing wash of my car. I go every 2 months. Making an appointment a few days before is easy using the mobile web site.
I love that they use Griot’s Garage products as well as sell them all. This is really impressive.
The folks there always do an amazing job.

This place was awesome and I am sure the actual wash is still great. But they moved to this «appointment only» system. Really? with all the appointments that people have these days for other things way more important than this, we now have to schedule an appointment for what still is «getting a car wash»?
Don’t get me wrong, I can go there and suck it up and wait forever if there are many people in front of me, but I must have an appointment now?
I guess you either have to have the not so common 8 hours job or hire someone so that they can take my car to the car wash. Wow.

Brought my black 06 Dodge Charger in for a full detail. Left the car keys in drop slot the night before. Car was completed to perfection at exactly the time promised today. Excellent wax job and on black metallic paint, every blemish (if there were any) would show up. Inside is show room clean.
Payment was easy. And, there are always cool cars to look at while you walk around this world class detail shop

I used to detail cars in college so my standards and expectations are pretty high and they never disappoint. And the staff is the friendliest crew I’ve ever met, always accommodating, professional and all gearheads which is a huge bonus! This place sucks for the price they charge. Don’t waste your money! My dad was giving me his car and wanted it clean for me. He spent $ 350 and I STILL HAD TO CLEAN THE CAR! And they STOLE his jade dragon that hung on his rear view mirror. When we went back to ask them about it– they had no clue what we were talking about… They didn’t touch the ashtray, glovebox or door handles! There was still grime in the creases of the car through out. They didn’t even ATTEMPT to remove ANY stains in the carpet. Serious bullshit business. Carpet under the seats hadn’t been cleaned either. WHAT DO THEY DO? I’d really like to know. I had to give them one star to at least post a review but they deserve none. I warn everyone to save your money. Go somewhere else!

All the staff was really friendly and helpful when I brought my car in. They did a great job and I’ll definitely be back! My car had been trashed by my kids and was in serious need of help, and they made it look completely clean and fresh. They’re really attentive and honest, too. When cleaning my car they found one of my stud earrings on the floor and returned it. Most places would just carelessly vacuum it up or keep it. It’s hard to find honest businesses these days, and for that alone I’d definitely recommend them.

A+ First time visit to this cool hidden away detail shop behind park place limited. I am a detail oriented person and expect a detailed job. My expectations were met, the car was sealed and waxed, along with a good interior clean on my new car. The staff even made sure to drive the car into the detail shop since it was late so we could get a good look at the car in good light. It’s not often someone in my reviews get an A+!

For the amount they charge they did a pretty bad job of cleaning the car. The internals are not cleaned properly. Its the most expensive car wash in bellevue area. On the top of that the receptionist is pretty rude. You need to call and take appointment. Before that you need to go to website and see all the wash options, decide what options do you want. Check any extra options like tree sap removal and mention all of those when you call to take an appointment. Otherwise you will get default 20 minute basic car wash.
When i called, the receptionist asked my name and gave the time and just hung up. She didnt ask what wash do i want. I actually wanted wax wash with tree sap removal. When i went there the car service agent told that i just had 20 minute appointment and cannot get the tree sap removed (there are just few saps). Now i have to take my car to a different place.

Absolutely love having my car detailed here! The staff is always friendly and Joey treats you like family. Absolutely recommend!

I left my 2003 GMC for the whole detail package, paying several hundred dollars. They said that they would remove a number of scratches and also repair the rear bumper cover by fastening it down.
When I picked it up a week later, what I received was the interior/​exterior detail, but none of the scratches had been worked and the bumper was also untouched. The cleaning was good, but the rest was a big disappointment for the money spent and the promised work undone.

I used to love going here for wash and vacuum while having lunch at the Nooner next door. However, their «new» reservation only system just seems like an excuse to jack up the price (which they didn’t tell me about when I made my reservation and the website wasn’t updated yet). I may have actually been there the first day that they upped the price. I got a bunch of yabbering about how the new system will allow a team to work on a car from start to finish with fewer hand-​offs, better quality control and more efficiency. I’ll admit that I was quite grumpy because I wasn’t prepared for the change in system that I had been using for years. I’ve had a couple of the pre-​purchase cards for the number #2 (which will still be honor until used up).
I must say, I’ve always been happy with the quality of work and service here. It is one of the few places that I trust with my car. They work on a lot of high end cars and do a good job.
I went back 2 weeks later with my other car and just got the exterior wash for $ 35. I used to get the #2 Wash (int/​ext) for 34.99. Good job on the was but I still feel like a sucker at that price with nothing touched on inside.
Bottom line: 29% (40% for exterior only) increase in price for essentially the same product. I still think the people that work on the cars do a great job but I don’t like the change in price. If the system really is more efficient then they should be able to do it at a lower cost. There are too many other choices in the area for me to try out before I go back.

I recently purchased a nice Jeep Grand Cherokee a couple of months ago. After going through a snowy winter and a move, my vehicle was one dirty bird. This called for something more than the average Brown Bear car wash. I searched for places that offered the type of car washes that included an interior cleaning. I finally settled on Park Place Auto Salon. The website looked fairly clean and professional, they offered a car wash package that I was looking for (exterior plus interior vaccuum and wipe down the dash). On top of that, the website was inundated with many amazing supercars. I attributed this to Park Place perhaps being a classy place where folks with amazing supercars would want to have their vehicles professionally cleaned. Not because Park Place was trying too hard to look classy… that’s ridiculous… right?
I finally arrive and leave my vehicle to talk to the gentleman out front. He informs me that it will take approximately 1 hour. Ok, I’m in no hurry, whatever. I go in and pay, selecting car wash package #2. The place is clean and appears to be well equipped, with a sort of hotrod theme going on. There is also a large aquarium that provides a couple minutes of entertainment.
After maybe 30 – 40 minutes of waiting, my vehicle finally goes in. They spray down the vehicle and get to work. So far so good.
Eventually my vehicle gets finished up, and one of the teenagers working on the vehicle calls for us. I immediately receive my keys, and tip him $ 10, and go out to look at the vehicle. Keep in mind this is the Seattle area, and it is starting to rain. No matter, I really just wanted the grime off. The exterior looks decent, save for rings of filth around the lip of each chrome rim. No biggie, I can live with that. The teenage gentleman informs us to let him know if there are any issues, and they will take care of it. Great, I thought, as I got in my vehicle. Wait a minute, the first thing I notice is that my dash and console are still completely dirty. The car wash package clearly states that wiping down/​dusting the dash and console are part of the package. I call the teenage gentlemen over, and point out the oversight. He apologizes, and takes a few seconds to wipe it down. I thank him and get back in my vehicle. The dash is only still slightly cleaner this time, having debris just pushed around. The bottom of the console wasn’t even touched. I look down at the sides of the console, and they did not even vaccuum large areas of the carpet between the seat and console. It’s like the point of a nightmare where you really start scrutinizing your surroundings and notice horrific things. The carpet on the backside of the folded seats not vaccuumed. Dust/​dirt just SITTING on the arm rests of the rear passenger doors. Cup holders and shifter areas still dirty. A patch of dirt on the center of the windshield laughing and mocking me. Granted I don’t have an Aston Martin or Porsche like what is plastered all over their website, but this is an insult. I just paid $ 30+ dollars for an $ 8 car wash.
After the half-​assed attempt to correct the problems I pointed out the first time, I decided to not bother again. I did what I probably should have done in the first place. I went to O’Reillys and bought a pack of terry cloth rags, and a bottle of detailer, and did the job correctly which only took 5 minutes. I guess I’ll be going and vaccuuming the vehicle again so it will be done right, also.
To wrap this up; don’t bother with this place. They apparently do not do everything that you pay them to do, and when they fix it, it is done in such a way that clearly indicates that they do not care or take pride in their work. If you value your vehicle, take it somewhere else. Or pay your neighbor’s kid to wash your car – they’ll probably do a much better job.

I have nothing but great things to say about Park Place. My first time here, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and nice. I’m sure the puppy I had with me had nothing to do with it ;)
I made an appointment ahead of time, and arrived a few mins early. I informed them of my furry companion, and they told me it was no problem. My car was whisked away, and I setup camp on the couch.
While the time I was quoted to get my car done was only an estimate, they ran over a bit but I didn’t mind. I prefer it’s done right, then have to return or complain.
My car was clean and shiny as promised, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Never mind the rain that started right as I pulled out of the parking lot.

I previously reviewed this wash at a ²⁄₃ but have changed after talking with Michelle who is a manager at this location. I was not happy with the interior of my car, which has been a problem in the past as well. Though, when I called Michelle explained their business model and apologized for the mis-​perception of what I would be getting and the communication on her staffs behalf. She went above and beyond what was needed to make the situation right and for that reason I give this place a A+

Like too many of the car cleaners in seattle, this one is also quite bad.
Doesn’t actually clean the inside of the car well, and has that sort of lame, could care less demeanor. I actually spent just two minutes after they were done with a cheap Costco semi-​wet microfiber, followed up by some quick sprays of Meguiars detail spray from Target of all places, and did a superior job. Keep mind that I am (or should be) a cleaning idiot, compared to a professional.
I actually, I kid you not, had a better job done at universally hated «Elephants». That’s what a waste of time Park Place Autospa is.
There’s a place down in Olympia… The name slips me by at the moment, sadly… But it’s cheaper and more effective than most places I’ve been to in the Seattle area. I haven’t been absolutely everywhere yet, mind you, so there is still some possibility of an auto cleaning mecca here somewhere. It is odd to me, though, that hippy Olympia seems more into clean shiny cars than Seattle. Weird stuff! Messes with my mind.
Also, while I think the Auto Spa is low quality and a waste of time, I think highly of the Park Place car dealer next door.
It’s one of the nicest toy dealers in the country, for sure, and most of their salespeople are as into cars as anybody in Top Gear. They just have happen to have apathetic people who couldn’t care less in their car wash dept. Don’t know why, but that’s reality. To live life to it’s fullest, you gotta embrace it, then move on from there. Tricking yourself into thinking a bad job is a good one won’t help. Only honesty helps to change things for the better.
If Autospa wants good reviews from reality oriented people, they need a staff and attitude upgrade, for sure. I would love it if they could make themselves the same grade as the car dealer next door. (Which you MUST visit, imho!)

Took a Jeep in late on a Saturday afternoon (after 5pm, was surprised they were open), after having driving it from California to Washington to California to Washington, and then around Seattle for over a month without washing it. It was filthy. Really filthy. Inside and out.
For $ 30, they managed to get the outside spotless, which was no small feat. The inside has some residual dog hair, but hey — 2400 miles of driving around with 2 dogs in the back seat, I was shocked they didn’t try to charge me extra (I expected they would, and I’d have paid it).
There’s some young kids there — reading the other reviews, I wouldn’t be surprised that when they’re really busy, the older guys are going to be on the more expensive cars and detail appointments, and the kids are going to be left on most of the walk ins, and I could see where that leaves a lot of room for quality variations, but I was really happy with my wash, and I’ll probably be back for a full detail sooner or later.

Date of visit ⁴⁄₁: This was my first and last visit to this place. While the waiting lounge is cleverly decorated, the car wash sucked. After washing my vehicle, it was parked outside for the hand drying. Too bad there was a slight breeze because my car was covered in spray from the washing area. I didn’t notice the water spots when I initially claimed my car. It was parked in the shade and looked great. Once I got out in the sun, the windshield was not only covered in water spots, but huge smudges were left behind from the shoddy dry job. The entire left side of vehicle is covered in water spots and there was some dirt left behind on the rear bumper. One positive, the tires look good. I guess my CR-​V wasn’t fancy enough for them to put too much effort into it.

This review is specifically for the car wash:
After spending a lot of time in Southern California for a few years, I got really spoiled with the amazing hand car washes there. This is the closest thing to the better of the SoCal-​style hand car-​washes. They clean the inside and outside of the car, including the windows (seems to be an issue in Seattle) and their people are very conscientious and really seem like they care about their work.
What I’m not thrilled with is the prices, but no one else does this around here for less, so I guess it’s supply and demand! I’d like to see rainy-​day specials or something and it’s interesting that the guys don’t try to up-​sell you much when they hand you the keys. I’d actually prefer that they tell me if they notice a flaw and give me some options on what I should do.
Overall a great place with a fancy, man-​cave style waiting room and decent coffee in the morning!

I’ve had my wife’s car and my own car each detailed once at Park Place. A 2002 Jetta Wagon and a 1998 M3.
Fundamentally I think their prices are ok and they are fairly thorough.
My only issue with the detail on my own car was that there were a couple small missed spots near my rear license plate that I didn’t notice until I got home.
With my wife’s car, I had more disappointment about the quality of the detail and service… The cleaning job on the interior of the front window was very amateurish. When driving the car in the twilight and at night, severe streaking was noticeable on the inside of the window, to the extent that it was dangerous to drive in those conditions until the window was properly cleaned. When I scheduled the service for her, I asked for their ionization odor removal service, but they neglected to tell me when I scheduled the service that they would need the car for 24-​hours for it to be effective. I couldn’t leave the car there overnight, so I had to cut that service short but was billed the full amount, despite the fact that they hadn’t communicated with me the 24-​hour need in the first place.
The major issue:
To be fair I did not bring up these issues with Park Place because I had a more pressing problem with them… When I picked up my wife’s car, the rear wiper was stuck-​on and would not turn off. They went out of their way to have a «friend that owned a VW shop» come and look at the car the following weekend. He took apart the steering column and tested the stalk that controls the wiper and said it appeared to be working correctly. Knowing that the rear wiper was not fixed, we had to pick the car up after hours. Unfortunately when my wife started the car, she discovered that the front wipers would now not turn off either.
We lived with turning the wipers on and off by removing and installing fuses for more than a week… then I decided to take the car to a reputable VW Dealer to get the problem fixed. Their findings:
— the wiper control switch (stalk) in the steering column was causing the front wipers to malfunction
— water in the motor was causing the rear wipers to malfunction
Neither of these issues existed before the car was handed over to Park Place.
The parts and labor from the VW dealer was $ 700 (new control arm switch, new rear wiper motor). My expectation would be that it would be the responsibility of Park Place to reimburse me for these repairs, to return the car to the condition it was in before it was put in their care. This establishment bills itself as being very professional and high-​end, and I wouldn’t expect anything less.
However, less is what I got. Their representative offered only to pay for the wiper switch repair minus the cost of the detail, ultimately offering to refund me only $ 141 ($ 325 if you count the «value» of the detail). I might have let the issue rest and not written this review, except that I still HAVE NOT received the reimbursement check MORE THAN A YEAR LATER.
Be aware that Park Place’s services are adequate, but in the event that your car is damaged you are unlikely to receive due attention and compensation.

Surprisingly reasonable price here for car washes! I haven’t been for a full detail yet, but I will definitely do that sometime (soon!). I’ve been here for carwashes on multiple occasions. It takes 20 – 30 minutes (more like 30 on busy days) and the waiting room is a TOTAL MAN CAVE. Men’s health magazine, sports games on the TV, chrome and leather everywhere. It’s decked out to be like a cool garage, and I really dig it even though I’m a lady :)
Car wash-​wise, my car is totally clean and dry, not dripping anywhere (which is IMPRESSIVE with a Mini!) when it’s dropped off, and the guys who work there are super gentlemanly and get the door for me. (They might do this for everyone, but still — nice touch!) Thanks guys!
It’s funny hearing the guys who work here calling out the different cars that are ready. Kind of ridiculous: «Bentley? I’ve got a Bentley ready here? Porsche? Who’s got the Aston Martin?» Seriously?! :P
