Jim and his staff are top notch. I am about the pickiest consumer you will find. I expect quality work and Jim did just that. The shop is a typical shop/​garage. Nothing fancy here but they have a small waiting area with wi-​fi and I was able to sit down and get some work done while they tinted my brand new car.
I have a small SUV so it wasnt a quick job and yet he still finished rather quickly.
They offered to drive me to a starbucks so I could work there instead of there shop.
The finished result looks fabulous. Lifetime warranty cant be beat.

I was referred to Jim by a car enthusiast coworker of mine. I had to reschedule my appointment due to a time conflict and got double booked with another car. I took showed up and was not able to get serviced and turned away. I was upset to say the least.
Jim personally hunted me down, accepted full responsibility for the mix up, apologized, then made it right. He personally came to my office, picked up my car, did a terrific job, and returned it by the end of my work day at a discounted rate.
Every organization will have a screw up at some time or another but it’s the one’s like Jim at Bellevue Auto Tint, that make it right, who deserve the 5 Stars.

Went in today to see about getting tint removed from window. Without hesitating, Jim the owner, went right to work. Not only getting the tint off for me on the spot, but doing a very meticulous job with it and getting every last bit of glue off the window.
He did it all just to be nice, didnt want a dime. Just said next time i need something to head in, which i will. It’s no wonder this place has 5 stars, you can tell he runs a great business and cares that his customers value his quality of work.

I needed my van windows tinted rather urgently because of hot weather and transporting of a sick dog. I called on a Monday and the work was done on Wednesday. Not only was Jim (the owner) really accommodating, but we talked about what my needs were and he gave me options and advice. He is very knowledgeable and super nice and helpful. The work that was done couldn’t be better and there isn’t a bubble or line to be seen. The price was very competitive and the work superior. Now I have a wonderful van to transport my dogs and it keeps cool and the glare is gone. An awesome job and if I could give more stars I would! Thank you Bellevue Auto Tint from me and my dogs!

We have taken all of our cars to Bellevue Auto Tint over the years. Jim and his crew do an amazing job. Our cars included a BMW 645 and Mercedes E350 which have very difficult back windows to tint. The entire tinting looks like it is from the factory. His prices are very competitive especially for the quality of work. Jim is a pleasant, no pressure guy that has a deserved following. Don’t go anywhere else.

Went in today for a full tint. As I left I noticed the film was dirty. I called them to have it looked at and they basically told me that I could come back in but the damage wasn’t their problem. Even tho I had noticed their work wasn’t at its best AS I WAS LEAVING. I still went in to talk to the manager, and I was told again that they wouldn’t fix it. I’m completely unsatisfied with this place, I went in thinking they were going to give me awesome service, and left knowing I will never go back there again.

I recently had a window tint and 3M paint protection film installation done at BAT. Unfortunately, I had to have my hood re-​wrapped due to what was described as a ‘product defect’, resulting in ~20 quarter-​sized blemishes. When I picked up my car after the re-​wrap, I immediately noticed several imperfections on the hood. Jim asked me to give it a couple weeks to see if they’d go away, which they did not. I also noticed the wrap on the front bumper was starting to peel. Literally five minutes later, I got into my car and noticed the tint on the driver’s side window peeling away from the glass. I had reached my limit and contacted Jim about resolving the situation.
To his credit, Jim agreed to remove everything his shop had installed and get me back to where I was originally. I drove directly from BAT to another shop to have everything redone. The tech at the second shop brought several things to my attention during the pre-​installation inspection which were a result of the work done at BAT. The most problematic to me were the four deep razor blade cuts into the paint (two on the front bumper and one on each side mirror) from trimming off excess material during installation. I can say that I actually witnessed the tech make at least one of the cuts into the paint, but I didn’t realize it left a mark at the time. There were a few other issues as well, but they all seem to boil down to the same root cause — whoever installed my wrap at BAT was either inexperienced or careless.
I’m giving BAT a two-​star review solely because I appreciated Jim’s professionalism and willingness to try to rectify the situation. If I were grading simply on satisfaction with the product and installation, it would be much lower.

I got tints on my Audi A6 3.0T done here and they did an amazing job. It was very easy to setup an appointment first thing in the morning for the following week. I got driven to Starbucks to wait while my car was getting done. Everyone was nice and it turned out amazing. I would definitely recommend going to Bellevue Auto Tint.

Jim was courteous on the phone and easy to work with. They delivered on time and the car looks fantastic!

Jim does good work, that’s for sure. He worked on my Chevy Cruze and the job he did has held up over the last 2 months and I still think it looks great. No seams, no lines, no bubbles and no issues. It might be geared toward higher end cars, but he treated my econo-​box as he would treat any car and that means a lot to me. If money isn’t the biggest issue and you want it done right… take it here for sure.

These guys did an excellent job in putting on the 3M protective film on my 2013 Benz ML 350. I was very impressed with the work. Jim was also kind enough to add on a little strip to protect parts of my bumper. I dropped off my car in one afternoon and they had my car ready the next morning. Their prices are competitive to others. You get what you paid for. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. Very helpful on suggesting what tint is best for your car. I asked them to match the tint to my sun roof and they did an amazing job. You really get what you pay for and that’s a top quality window tint.

Here’s from a senior guy who doesn’t fit into the max tint category I needed my Lexus GS tinted and am pleased as can be with the job Jim did.
Not only does he do good work, he is just a pleasant guy to deal with. No pressure, no hype — just a normal guy who does a great job of tinting.
He has two grades of 3M tints. At first I was leaning toward this new ceramic film, but after chatting with Jim I didn’t need to spend the extra $ to look and stay cool in the sun.
For me it was between a 35 and 20 percent film. Thought I would go with the 20, but ended up with the 35 all around and it looks great. The thing that sold it for me on the 35 was the original Lexus tint on my windows. Even thought they were light — about 10−15% when added to the 35 it brings my number down to about 25 which is perfect.

I had my original appointment set at another tint shop and then I was referred to Jim at Bellevue Auto Tint by a dealership in Bellevue. I called Jim and he was super flexible and even gave me a ride to Starbucks so I could get work done while he was tinting my new 2012 Optima. His prices are extremely competitive and he does an awesome job. Honestly, it was my first time getting any of my windows tinted so I was a little nervous but after reading reviews on here and being referred to him I felt much more comfortable. My car looks AWESOME! He did a really good job and it only took him 2 ½ hours to tint my WHOLE CAR! I’ve already referred my friend to him and I’ll referr anyone else I know to Bellevue Auto Tint. 5 Stars for sure!

Ever since I moved up here, Bellevue Auto Tint has been the only place that I’ll take my cars to get tinted. Jim is awesome! He stands by his work, he’s fast, he’s affordable and I’ll be back when I get my next ride…

Just got my bf’s Audi A4 tinted as a surprise Christmas present. Jim does good work, is friendly, has great prices, does a quick turn around, and he stands by his work. If I need another car tinted, I’ll be sure to reach out to him again. The place is small and a little hard to spot but don’t let appearances scare you off, he does great work! Thank you!

Jim does good work, and i wish i had gotten around to recommending him sooner. We’ve had two cars done through him, the first being a simple tint match on an SUV which was well done. the second was an all-​around job on my wife’s Acrua TSX, which was handled perfectly. When vandals shattered the rear window a few years ago, we needed the tint replaced, and Jim was up to the task, and was even willing to be reimbursed by our insurance– something you won’t get with most tint operations. Now that we’ve traded in the Acura, i’ll probably be contacting him again soon. I’ve also recommended him without reservation to friends and co-​workers who still admire the work he did on my car a few years ago.
