Amazing customer service and great quality work for what I needed done. They fit me in last minute to accommodate my schedule despite having a full roster and me just driving up.
Everyone in the shop I dealt was amazingly friendly and most importantly their wash, wax and polish was flawless.

I got the premium detail for my 08 Silverado. The inside was pretty dirty and there were several stains on the headliner. Karmichaels did a very good job. All of the stains came out and the exterior/​engine compartment looked great as well. I’d definitely go back.

I needed a quick job done on a Jeep that I was to turn as a trade-​in. Mark did an excellent job of fitting me in, did an A+ job on a very dirty Jeep and I’m sure improved the cash I would get for the car. I am very grateful for their service and good job.

I visited Karmichael Auto Salon this past Saturday for an Express Detail, which includes the following:
* Hand Wash & Dry Exterior
* Apply Wax (may require polishing to remove scratches or oxidation)
* Wipe Clean All Door and Trunk Jambs
* Vacuum Interior & Trunk
* Clean Interior & Exterior Windows
* Clean & Dress Tires and Wheels
Pros:
— Reasonable price. It was just over $ 100 after tax
— Saturday hours! It was very hard to find an auto salon open on Saturday
— I was able to book an appointment online
— The outside of my car looks fantastic! I don’t think the color has looked this good since I bought it 6 years ago
— The appointment took about as long as they said it would, so I didn’t have to wait much
— The gentleman at the front desk checked my car once they were done, and noticed a spot on the window that he had the kid fix up before I had to pay for anything. I appreciated that extra once-​over
Cons:
— I couldn’t get an appointment for the service that I really wanted, which was the Premium Detail. It seems like they are booked out quite far, or just don’t have the staff for it
— The interior cleaning left MUCH to be desired. There was still dust on my dashboard and around my steering wheel, and it didn’t appear they did any sort of cleaning around the shifter. There were spots of some kind of gunk on the interior of all four doors. It seemed like it was some kind of wax. No idea how I’m going to remove that…
— The service said they would only vacuum the inside, but for some reason, my seats were damp. That’s great if they shampooed them, but then why weren’t they dry?
— The exterior of my windows were cleaned very well, but the interior sides were not. I had to go over all of my glass again with Windex
— I asked them if they would call me to let me know when my car was done, but they said they don’t do that, and I should just come back in an hour. Luckily, my car was done in about 1.25hrs, but the option to receive a call would have been nice. They have a phone…
Overall impression:
I would recommend them for exterior detailing, but I’m not sure about interior cleaning services. I think I’ll give them one more try before I officially decide whether or not I’ll continue visiting them.

I first time called them when I needed to clean my passenger van after client vomited in it. They took me in at a short notice and cleaned it like nothing ever happened. Van looked even better than before.
I then started taking my business and personal cars there. In all they cleaned four of my business cars and one personal. So, five total cleanings. Every cleaning was done perfectly well.
Recently, we hit a bump when one of the guys broke a passenger seat (recliner was damaged and had to be replaced). That cost me a bit of money. However, the owner offered a gift certificate to compensate for the damage and won my loyalty for life. Mistakes happen but I like when they are being addressed and corrected. This business knows that and I appreciate it very much.
I highly recommend them for personal or commercial cars as the quality of the job is just great. Not to mention, I think the prices are very affordable too.

VERY disappointed in my experience with Karmichaels. I have an older car that I decided to treat to an interior shampoo cleaning — carpets, floor mats and seats. I dropped it off in late morning and was promised it by 4:00. Well, it was indeed ready by 4, but everthing was still soaking wet (I had to change my pants after I drove home). They blamed it on the rainy weather and told me to park it in the garage with the windows open overnight and it would be fine. I did as they suggested, but the next day was just as wet as before. To make matters worse, there was a terrible odor as well.
I was busy that day, so I brought it back the next day. Now two days after the cleaning, the carpets and floor mats were still very wet and the odor was just as bad. I literally couldn’t drive it with the windows up. They did some cursory cleaning with another spray, which just got everything even wetter. To add insult to injury, I also noticed evidence of overspray from their initial cleaning all over the vinyl and glass surfaces. Windows, mirrors, dashboard, steering wheel — everything was covered with dried white splotches. These were only partially cleaned up after the 2^nd visit.
The customer service was equally poor as their workmanship. Not once did I get an appology for the poor cleaning, the overspray, the odor, nothing. I had to wait more than 30 minutes the 2^nd time I returned because both the owner and the manager were out running errands and the young fellow at the desk told me «Look, I just detail cars». How about calling your boss then?
Anyway, it took 4 more days before the floor mats were finally dry and I had to finish cleaning up the overspray myself. I can’t imagine this is the normal level of quality from this business, since they’ve been around for quite some time, but they won’t be seeing me or any car of mine ever again.

I brought my van for an interior detail and engine clean. The folks at Karmichael did a great job for a great price. I’ll use them again for a variety of services.

If you have a high-​end car or really care about your car’s finish, then you should not take your car to these guys. I took my brand new car there for its first car wash thinking they would do a high-​quality job… in fact, that’s what it used to say on their web site, but seems that they have since pulled it, «We pride ourselves on delivering a high-​quality auto detailing experience with the utmost attention to detail.» The car came back with long straight scratches all over. It looked like they were using sand paper in some spots. Their rags must have been dirty, or they have people that just don’t know or don’t care what they are doing.
I took the car back to show it to them, and had to listen to several rounds of, «well, it can’t be our fault, it must be someone else’s fault.» With a brand new car and its first car wash, there was no one else to blame it on. The guy refused to give me my money back, and it was only after another customer walked in and overheard our discussion that he finally agreed to give me back most of my money.
I ended up spending most of my weekend going over the car twice with a fine cut cleaner, but that was not sufficient. I’m going to have to go over it again with a medium cut cleaner hoping that will do the job. When you take your car in for a $ 40 car wash, you expect a high-​quality job, and not to have to waste two weekends fixing the damage that some careless people cause.

This detail shop was recommended by the Mazda dealership in Everett. Two weeks after I bought a brand new Mazda 5 it somehow got road striping paint overspray over the entire front end of the car. It was all through the plastic honeycomb parts of the grill. From the bumper to the sunroof. It was in every nook and cranny possible, a fine white and yellow spray (thanks WSDOT!)
These guys worked with my insurance, got me in the next day (I used the night key drop so that I wouldn’t have to find a ride home in the morning) and finished it in one day. My car looks like it just rolled off the dealer’s lot again. They warned me there might be a few small spots on the textured plastic of the grill but you would have to get a microscope out to find any. I didn’t think there was any way my car could be restored but these guys really did a fantastic job.

They did a super job on my 1996 GMC Yukon. Express Detail: I’m very particular! So, I felt it was worth taking the time to give them some positive feedback. Worth every penny having my truck look as close to new as possible! Thanks guys!

Had my carpet steam cleaned in my car and it looks brand new. Best part they had me in and out in less than an hr and a half. Highly recommend. Ask for Ryan he was very helpful

can’t give them a 5 yet. why? well, they have not left a dent in my heart yet…
dropped in on monday morning to get a platinum detail done (it’s the shebang detail of all mothers…). they have a special $ 50 coupon online for this month.
detail work: removed the swirls and scratches on my black paint. have some overspray that they missed when i came to check-​up on them (90% done). they also missed nails scratches on the handles. took that in and got them done. not 100% gone but definitely MUCH better than when it came in.
interior was rather clean so they have an easier job here. trunk carpet was not cleaned properly because it’s black. they said that interior/​exterior looked fine when inside shop but when under the sun, everything was revealed.
came back the next day, as platinum detail took the whole day (5 – 7 hours), as they missed the crack on the side under the rear seat. they cleaned that, and the crack between the seat-​cushion and seat-​back.
they could’ve done a much better job with the platinum detail. i’m a picky mother-​father and i pick on small little things. especially after i spend my $$… they also could do with MUCH BRIGHTER SHOP. invest more in lights so that they can see in the shop.
one good thing was that the car smells nice after the job but the exterior look like crap now because of the pollen… it’s not even 24 hours… +(

my first experience with them was with my friend. She had bumped someone with her car and had taken their car down to be buffed out. Karmichaels buffed out the mark AND didn’t charge her. Of course, that ensured that I referred my boyfriend, who has since used them twice (happily). This was my first time using them and I am more than pleased. I’m flat out cheap and my car had gotten as dirty as dirty can get inside. Spilled sugary coffee drinks, 2 dogs, daily trips to the muddy dogpark. My car frankly stank.
When I opened the door to my car after the detailing, it was like a choir of angels singing. My car smelled great. For a 13 year old car, it looked almost brand new. Well worth the cost… definitely not cheap, but they obviously take pride in their work and their reputation. I live near their shop and have seen them grow. There obviously is a reason for their growth in this economy !!! They’re awesome.

I just picked up my vehicle from Karmichael’s and I’m very pleased with the results. My truck has been parked outside for all its life and will
be for the next year as well so a good cleaning and coat of wax was in order. My father had had his mini-​van detailed here about 3 years ago and had been quite impressed so I went to Karmichael’s for a quote. Ryan, the manager at the Factoria store, was very helpful and explained the basics to me, pricing, answered all my questions, etc.
The price he quoted for a standard exterior detail seemed realistic (with the paint sealant upgrade), if not reasonable, and I felt relieved as Karmichael’s pricing was about 3 times less than a quote I had received from another auto detailing shop in Bellevue. Now, $ 800 for a car wash and a heavy duty coat of wax might be chump change for some but not for me, so I was happy to get quality work for significantly less. My truck looks great– the door jambs are super clean, the roof (and everywhere else) is glassy smooth, and the they even shampooed the driver’s side mat instead of just vacuuming it. My experience with Karmichael’s was very positive and I highly recommend them! Thanks a lot, Ryan and team. You guys are great!

Had no time to detail… so to Karmichaels I went.
Called the day of, brought the car in next day, picked it up 5 hours later, it was a sweet detailing job, careful attention to small hidden corners and I was able to sell the car at the top $$$ desired.
Professional staff, clean waiting area, courteous techs, great detailing.
Location is tucked away on a busy hard to get to narrow road.

We were pressed for time and Karmichael’s had alot of cars in front of us. I went through some kind of cement sludge on a road in Oregon which threw this stuff inside my wheel wells. They said they could fit me in right away and pressure washed it not only once but did it again — we had to wait for the 2^nd pressure wash yet when we came back they had not only gotten rid of the sludge but washed and detailed out the exterior of the car. Ryan who is the manager runs a great business and all employees were very friendly, courteous and went the extra mile to do right by your vehicle. Ryan was intent on doing right by us and even refused to accept a $ 20 tip. He certainly knows how to do detail at retail and in my opinion is at the level where is what you would call «BETTER THAN BEST» Thank you Ryan for an excellent 200% job well done.

These guys did and amazing job restoring (fixing) some paint problems I had on my Tacoma. Really nice guys, called me when they were a little behind on the time, I would recommend them.
