Chen’s Acupuncture & Accupressure

Dr Chen has helped relieve my aches and pains for several years! He is great and I recommend him to friends all the time. I have a very physical job and I overdo it a few times a year, he has mended my lower back, a torn rotator cuff and my painful inflamed knee. Acupressure is sometimes temporarily painful, but it is always worth it to get the rid of the real pain!

I went to Dr. Wei Chen with a frozen shoulder. He knew exactly what the problem was and started working on the shoulder. Yes, it was a bit painful, but by the time I left his office an hour later, I could move my arm. After 2 more appointments I was back working out. He is an amazing doctor who puts the patient first. He has a complete under-​standing of the problem and pain you are experiencing.
He recommended that I get an MRI on that shoulder so I did. They discovered that I had arthritis with spurs on the bone. Both of the Medical Doctor’s that I saw, said that he had done a good of bringing down the inflammation and swelling.
Dr. Chen is the best acupuncturist that I have ever known. I highly recommend him to any and all that are experiencing pain. I referred my sister for her knee, she was experiencing lots of swelling and had planned a Safari and wanted to be well enough to go. After 2 or 3 appointments, she was able to go on Safari with no pain and no swelling.
Kudos to a great Doctor.

Terrible front desk staff. I called to book a massage and she booked me for acupuncture. When I showed up for my massage appointment (after a 30 minute drive to get there) they were completely unapologetic about their mistake. I called to talk to the manager about the situation and she didn’t return my call for three weeks. When I did finally speak with her, she was completely indifferent about the mistake and my wasted time.

Terrible acupuncturist! I felt more pain than before going in. He doesn’t know anything about where you’re hurt except where he thinks you’re hurt. I got a bruise from his painful acupressure where he pressed so hard even when i told him that isn’t where my pain is and told him to stop. Very arrogant, unprofessional, and doesnt listen to the patient at all! Do not go to him!

I’ve seen dr. chen for on & off ~6−7 years and considered him to be one of the best in seattle. he is one kindest person I met and he will do anything to save life & pain. i’ve witnessed patients ripping him off by making excuses of not paying and ran away — and he forgave them! (what? have u ever seen that in the US?). i also still remember one time I visited, he kept apologizing for being late because of another appt. — and later I found that he was spending extra time with a cancer patient who had not slept for weeks, and under his treatment, she could sleep the first time. I saw through the door gap that the entire family was standing next to the patient… I was like — wow. how touching. dr. chen is so down to earth and he explains to me why in my case he didn’t use any pain-​relieving cream/​methods in his treatment because the muscles need the signals to cure themselves. (if u use those, it is more of a band-​aid). I totally understood and found it brilliant. it makes me mad that someone would write so negatively about this great doctor (hence posting this). perhaps dr. chen isn’t well-​versed in English, but he has the best intent for patients. I like him and respect him a ton. only under his needles, i can find relief. I don’t know how much I need to thank him for fixing many of my problems.

don’t go to this dr! he doesn’t listen to you! as a dr whom does accupressure he should’ve known not to use such force! I told him i had a massage the night before and he still pushed in deep! Even after I told him it hurts and Im tearing up into the face cradle he pushes even harder. Im now starting to cry from all the pain and that’s when he decides it’s time to stop! 2^nd time around I told him my chiropractor says not to use the pressure this time and he still does. I didn’t even know I had a bruise on my spine until i went in for my massage 2 days later! The bruise came from him pushing the metal clasp of my bra strap into my spine!
