Worst place ever! Mike the manager should NOT work with the public. I have NEVER had such a bad experience before! I have been in the retail business for over 20 years and have seen many co workers get terminated for the kind of customer service he «provided» me. Because of him I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again. I have told family members and my own customers the experience I had with him. It’s too bad that he can get away with that attitude at work! We had plan on getting a new car stereo installed in our daughters car as a surprise birthday gift to her next month, but it looks like we will be taking our business to Car Toys! Manager Mike, I hope that someday you will grow up and act like a man and not a child and do the job you are paid to do!

They sold me a defective Dell Laptop and make me go back to the store to exchange twice and ended up paying $ 100 extra to replace the brand new computer
The costumer care manager then said…” This is a well known defect between Dell Laptops and Windows 10…” Are you kidding me !!! Why you sale the laptops anyway !!!

I obviously don’t like writing one-​star reviews but this store earned it.
I’ve placed online orders in the past through Best
and never had a problem.
This store apparently has internal issues that need to be sorted out soon.
I don’t know if it’s the lack of training they provide for the customer service employees or it was just an incompetent worker who helped me.
They was an obvious problem. No solutions were presented, I had to keep asking for things to happen, and the employee would not follow up on what he was supposed to do on his side of the transaction.
Very dissatisfied with the customer service here. I will definitely send orders to a different Best Buy from now on or maybe even just buy things from another source.

SENSORY: Lighting, smell and temperature are great. Sound can be loud during certain instances, but it is store policy to keep sounds low.
PARKING: Free accessible parking either in the parking lot or the street. Bike friendly.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Near max line, bus line, freeway, and main roads.
ACCESSIBILITY: There is a curb ramp, automatic doors, wide hallways and accessible changing rooms. Some areas in the store are tight, but there are a lot of people around to help out.
VISUAL SUPPORTS: There are pictures for products, but no picture directions or brail directions. Staff is very personable and willing to help though!
FEES: $-$$$$. Accepts credit cards. No reduced or free rates for staff accompanying someone with a disability.

Just a heads up, They have only a 14 day return policy. I bought a printer from them and then went on vacation for 3 weeks. I hooked up my brother printer, and found out it was a piece of crap… Beware of Best Buys policy. I will never go back

I bought a full set of Kitchen and Laundry appliances for $ 4136. An excellent deal! Best Buy has great price matching and extended warranty policies. Unfortunately, I needed to cancel the order because my home purchase was delayed then cancelled. If they enforced their return policy strictly, I would exceeded the return period, but they were fair with me, and let me get my money back in full.

I shop at this Best Buy store all the time. The management seems to really care about customer needs, and if you ever have an issue, they will make it right.

Fantastic store. Came here to purchase a 48″ television they had on sale. I was immediately approached by an extremely friendly employee who helped me find what I was looking for. He answered a lot of my questions and we talked about video games and movies for a bit. He was extremely personable and gave a great face to the company.
Never had a problem with this location. The employees are genuinely kind and really want to help you out. I can’t say enough good things about this location and I will definitely be returning to them for future purchases.

Somehow I seem to buy most of my electronics here. Located in Cedar Hills Crossing it has a good selection, good location and good prices especially the sales. Customer service is good though they can be tied up just when you need them.
The staff can be hit or miss, while everyone seems to knowledgable some staff really know their stuff some not as much. At best buy though sometimes knowledge seems to get pushed aside for the upset.
They also seem to have a good selection of DVDs and Blue rays at ok prices. not to mention accessories whether for your cell phone or head phones for your music. It is a good store and they are all over so if this one isn’t convenient then probably another branch is.
I do think a lot of the up sell seems overpriced, wether is it geek squad packages or extended warrantees. Geek squad prices seem a lot higher then the independents and portland has lots of good independents.
The biggest advantage is instant gratification, They have what you want in stalk for a good price and you don’t have to drive across town to get to is as they are all over the place.

The service at the store, exclusively with the Geek Squad is awful. They DO NOT stand behind their product/​services. I have called to request service on a new tv and was placed on hold for 25 minutes after requesting to speak to a supervisor. Make no mistake, that perma hold was on purpose. When purchasing the protection plan and service plan they are so accommodating, but when it comes to actually needing service and protection, they are so unhelpful. Typical of big box, no service retailers. I will not ever buy their «service and protection plan» ever again. They do not service nor protect the consumer.

I got the new iphone from the verizon store but wanted a hard case for the phone. The cases in verizon store were so expensive that I figured I could get it cheaper nearby. Went to best buy and got a nice hard case for $ 15. Sure I could have waited for a few days to get a cheaper one from amazon but I couldn’t trust myself not to drop the phone. One tip would be to research online on the products, go into the store knowing what you want and maybe just ask for the aisle location. Then you will have a pleasant experience. Else you might be disappointed with the staff.

I don’t know much about the rest of the store, but the Geek Squad at this location does the bare minimum. They aren’t interested or concerned with helping customers, they just want to upsell their different services, not perform them correctly, and not provide any assistant over the phone. Then their special «geek squad care service» does not cover the problems they caused in the first place.
If you are having computer troubles I would suggest finding another place to have work done.

Everything is over-​priced. Annoying sales tactics. Can I help you now? WHAT ABOUT NOW? Looks like Sears.
In short, just go to frys and reclaim your dignity.

Not thrilled with the service at this Best Buy — it’s very unprofessional. I was making a purchase, and some supervisor decided interrupting the cashier I was with about how he was making a price match against Amazon for a client he was helping was more important than my transaction, which was already 70% of the way done.
I doubt I’ll be back, despite being a Reward Zone Elite Platinum member or whatever they call it these days. Very disappointed in Best Buy’s customer service, or lack thereof.

One of the worst Best buys in the country. The sales personnel in this store are discourteous, lack knowledge, and are downright rude to most customers.
I had a very distasteful experience with one in particular (Patrick ‘Last name unknown’) who was quite callous to our situation and didn’t help out at all. Here’s a gist —
1. Best buy online processed the order. Says pick up date in 5^th November
2. My friend went to the store and was informed that they «cannot see the order». She showed them the confirmation and proof of payment. Patrick then calls me on the phone and tells me that he cannot locate my order and cannot help.
3. Having worked in the service industry before, i understand that there can be unintended problems, but the apathy that was shown was quite disconcerting.
4. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and was made to hold for ~5 minutes. At the end i was back on the line with Patrick and he continued to be rude and disrespectful.
It all culminated with me having to spend the next 40 minutes on a call with best buy support, and they too were unable to help me — although the associate this time around at least was genuinely apologetic about the mess up.
This is the last time i intend to buy anything at this company. Pathetic!

There always seems to be lots of staff walking around and asking you if you need help when you don’t need it. The moment you do, they’re assisting another customer or just MIA. this particular store is not very busy, at least during the times that i have come here (excluding holidays).
When I come to this store, I would have already browsed the website to give me a general idea of what I might be able to find. Sometimes I’ll call ahead to have an item put aside but if I’m not sure, I’ll show up peruse the wares. Never have I been asked if I needed assistance in selecting any of the items. When I do have a question, the answer leaves me with doubts about their level of knowledge and their bullshit meter. No one wants to feel like they’re being sold something that is going to break after a couple uses. I also have to track down a staff member every time I do have a question.
The cashiers aren’t friendly. I am pretty sure they hate their job. Why? Maybe because they look like they hate their job. Look, don’t emote your misery onto me. Slap on that smile and fake it til you make it. I can’t even recall being greeted by a cashier on the times that I have been here. Certainly not the last time (beginning of this week) or the time before that (last year summer), Is it because I’ve reached my 1 greeting quota when the person at the door says «Hello» when I enter?
Not sure about the Geek Squad option. Never had to use it. Not sure if I want to considering the kind of service that is presented at the store.

So I guess this will be reason #100 why Best Buy sucks. I hardly ever shop at Best Buy because most of their items are overpriced. The only time I ever go in is if I’m looking for a particular video game (since all stores have the same price), upgrading my phone, or if I’m in a pinch and need something like a charger. I remember about 2 years ago I was on the hunt for a new LED TV. I went there with the purpose of leaving the store with a TV. Believe it or not… I was walking around that TV area for a full 30 mins comparing screens and no one bothered to even ask if they could assist me. It’s funny because when you go to the store with money to spend, no one helps. When you’re there just to browse, you get bombarded with «Can I help you» every 5 mins till you’re annoyed. Anyway I digress…
My Samsung 10″ tablet wasn’t acting right, so I had been looking to get a new tablet. Since my phone is an LG phone I had my eyes set on getting the LG G Pad 8.3″. I felt like 8.3″ would be the perfect size because my old 10″ was really too big to carry around all the time, and my wife’s 7″ Nexus is too small in my opinion. I go online to
and I see both Beaverton stores have the tablet in stock.
Go there to trade in my old tablet. Apparently there is some new trade-​in procedure where they were required to ask for my work number, SSN, and all other kinds of personal info. Not cool Best Buy, but I figured what the hell. I only got $ 60 for my tablet which was a rip-​off, but I figured I won’t be using it any way, plus I’ll apply that to the LG tablet. I was even offered an extra $ 50 towards my trade-​in value if I wanted to purchase another Samsung tablet. Nope, I wan’t the LG G Pad.
Gift card in hand, I proceed to ask the salesperson to locate the tablet I want. At first she points to the 7″ tablet. No, I want the 8.3″. I told her that online it said they have some in stock. She checks her system, and it says they have 2 in stock. She searches and also asks another person for assistance. Neither one of them can find it, but of course they keep trying to convince me to buy the 7″ or 10″ version. No, if that’s what I wanted, I wouldn’t be asking you for the 8.3″ version. Especially since the 8.3″ version has better resolution than the other two sizes.
Long story short, some dumb ass in inventory coded the 8.3″ as the 7″ tablet. I am a little upset, but I figured I’d just take my giftcard to the other Beaverton store. Sales person checks inventory, and the other Beaverton store doesn’t have it either, and the only store that does have one is in Springfield. I am instantly livid because now I’m stuck with a shitty Best Buy gift-​card. Whoever does the online inventory is an idiot because online it shows about 5 different stores that are supposed to have this in-​stock. I call around to a few different stores, and one person told me that no store in the state of Oregon or Washington have them in-​stock.
Sure I could use their shitty giftcard and buy it from their website, but shipping could take up to two weeks and based on the idiots who count the inventory, there’s not guarantee they really have the item. Thankfully I found the item on
and was able to get it for cheaper than it would have been at Best Buy, even using their giftcard. I will never step foot into another Best Buy store again. Wish I could give them ZERO stars and I hope they go out of business.

Had to write a review… maybe it will force a MUST NEEDED change!
I have been to this store 6 – 8 times for different reasons in the past 3 months, and each time the experience has gotten so bad that I feel compelled to write this and warn people and hopefully get the attention of the manager or district rep to force a change.
Each of these things have happened on every single (6 – 8) visit in the past 3 months:
1. Customers are completely ignored –Literally 10 employees congregating in the front of the store… completely ignoring the people coming in the door, and instead standing in a circle and joking around with each other.
2. It’s tore up from the floor up — the store is FILTHY, broke-​down.
3. Every demo/​display is BROKEN! without fail, every single demo, no matter what department — does not work. I recently went to try some headphones, and out of 7 different brand displays with 3 – 5 different headphones each… NONE of them worked at all. Wow.
4. The employees are really not very knowledgeable — when you do get someone to pay attention and answer a question, they aren’t very helpful, to the point that I had to stand in their store next to the employee and google an answer for something and show it to them. Wow. There is ONE exception to this — the great Mac expert with cool tats, he’s amazing, helpful and nice.
5. Then there are the ‘I’m gonna sell you something no matter what” employees — really, this is an electronics store — not a used car lot. I don’t need an 80″ TV in my townhouse.
I beg you BB — please get it together!

Best Buy. What can be said about Best Buy that hasn’t already been said? They sell electronic items, accessories for electronic items and things to put into electronic items. The prices aren’t always the best, but they will price match the local competition pretty easily. They will also order almost anything you could possibly need.
The staff at this location are not very passionate or knowledgeable but they are willing to help you out once you track them down.

Okay to be fair, I’ve been here before and have never experienced this poor of service, but it was quite astonishing the lack of motivation for this store to ensure that people put down product while in line waiting to checkout and walk out of the store not buying the item/​s that they’ve come to purchase…
I got the item and was going to be the next person to the checkout, when the friendly customer service person was checking out a customer. The customer that was being helped was having issues with the checkout process and the customer service agent was helping him along. The customer service agent stated that she’ll be right with me and try to get someone else to help. During this time, the line started filling up and there were four (4) other people behind me. Still, there was only 1 customer service agent. She had called twice for people to help out and … Silence… No one came. About 10 min later… Finally someone came. Fortunately, this store only had 1 customer put down what he was planning on buying and walked out. Had I not needed this specific item, I would have done the same.

Well-​lit, ample parking, relatively helpful staff.
But wow, do they try to sell some sort of add-​on for EVERY SINGLE ITEM NOW? I wish there was a blanket «No to all» option. I think next time I will save myself the hassle and just shop online.
It is seriously a toss-​up between getting asked far too many questions vs waiting 1 – 2 days for shipping.
Nonetheless, most of their TV prices are competitive with other online retailers. There still seem to be a few that have some sort of 1-​off model number so they don’t have to price match.
Cables are still ridiculously overpriced. I am glad to see they offer cheaper, package-​free options. But they are still about 5x more expensive than shopping online.
Their Surface Pro 2 and Samsung displays are great.
I wish their Blackberry Z10/​Q10 demos didn’t just show demo software and could actually be used.
