The course is great for what you pay for, but the college kids running it are not helpful and rude.

I used to come here to practice all of the time while in high school. The staff are all very friendly and take genuine interest in you once they know you well enough. The owner, Mike is one of the nicest people to have work here. He’s awesome!

I am a fan of the LSU Golf Course… it’s very forgiving, reasonably priced, and fun to play. The fairways are wide and clear, allowing for many playable slices and hooks that would be very lost on other courses and the greens are large and in good condition. This is definitely a good course for amateurs.
BOTTOM LINE: Good, public golf course at LSU in Baton Rouge.
