This place is my niche. Always clean and quite. Free refills for coffee and free wifi. Good place for students

I absolutely LOVECC’s coffee. The staff is always friendly and you can guarantee to be welcomed by a warn smile when you walk through the door. Even during peak hours at this hot spot I have never waited longer than five minutes for my order. The spinach and feta croissant is to DIE for and you can’t go wrong with a caramel mocha frappé or an unsweetened strawberry rouge tea if you’re feeling herbal.

My sprinkle and whipped cream-less mochasippi is delicious, but I am angry. Where are my sprinkles and whipped cream, CC’s? Did it not occur to you that the only reason God created mochasippis is for the whipped cream? Apparently it did not! I will be sipping angrily from now on.

This is my third time at this location but my first review here. CC’s is my absolute favorite coffee spot and upon moving to Baton Rouge from New Orleans in February 2015 I knew every location within a week. Coffee is my weakness. I like this location it has lots of space to sit and plug your lap top in without feeling cramped. The employees have always been nice and cheerful. It’s also clean and tidy and the coffee has always been great.

Why is this place considered $$$? Its just a coffee house, damnit! And cheaper than Starbucks, I should add. Anyways, I used to live right across the street from this coffee shop and I can say that CC’s caramel iced coffees were one of the primary reasons I was able to complete my master’s degree. Every time I’d feel low on energy or the will to live, I’d drag myself over to CC’s for some sweet coffee goodness. There’s tons of tables and chairs, so it definitely became my #1 place to get work done. It can get packed, especially on the weekends. People tend to hunker down for hours at a time so you can’t count on fast table turnover. Get a table while you can! I don’t live in BR anymore and CC’s is one of the things I miss most.

This is the closest coffee shop to my house near the Southside of campus. Its large enough with plenty of indoor seeting but the outdoor seating is pretty small. They have a pretty fast moving drive thru as well. They have really good bear claws.

I really feel insulted after my experience here. I walk in and connect my computer to there clearly labeled«High Speed Internet Connection» via ethernet. And it doesn’t work. So I go up and buy some food and ask if there is some sort of trick to making the ethernet port work. The gentleman taking my order was very kind about it and said he didn’t know because he was a new employee. He directs me to the blond coffee maker and she gives me the dirtiest look and says«you don’t have WIFI?» Obviously I have WIFI, it’s a brand new macbook. I explained how I wanted to hard wire because it was faster. She said the ethernet port was working, when it was clearly not or else I wouldn’t have been asking. And she continued to treat me like an idiot. I walked back to my computer and could hear them talking about me quietly, so I looked back and she was staring right at me… Seriously not cool… Just because someone doesn’t know your store like you do doesn’t mean you should demean them because of it. Thanks for the great costumer service. Won’t be ordering anything from this place again. P. S. The coffee cake is really delicious thou…

This review is for their drive-thru only. I’ve been burned at this place a number of times and ended up cleaning sticky coffee out of my cup holders & center console because they don’t train their drive-thru staff not to fill up the coffee all the way to the top. I kept going back because of it’s convenient location to my house but from now on I’ll drive the extra distance and sit in the long lines at Starbucks where they have professional baristas who are trained/have common sense. PS the icing on the cake during my last visit was that I asked for a large iced coffee with a little splash of half and half and what I got was a large iced half n half with a little splash of coffee.

I love a CC’s! This cool weather has me at one of their locations daily. I have been enjoying the Grande Cappuccino with Sugar Free Hazelnut Syrup. If you really want to spoil yourself grab one of their double decadent chocolate chip/chunk cookies and their Banana Nut Muffin – i wanted to eat the paper it came in it was so good. The lady at the window this morning offered me a sample of their Spice Muffin which was also delicious. I had to roll out though before I ordered all of their items!
