History

Established in 2014.

«The business idea started with the frosty beverages and then over a few years work and lots of menu discussion came the birth of Frosty Bev’s — a unique blend of cold fun drinks and hot sandwiches to cool the body and warm the heart,» he said. «Our smoothies start with fresh frozen fruit. We ripen the fruit until they are just right then freeze them to hold the flavor, giving the customer a full-flavored drink without all the fillers. Our paninis and wraps are prepared with fresh ingredients and then pressed to give them a wonderfully light crunch.»

Meet the Business Owner

James S.

Business Owner

Originally from Houston, Stovall started his entrepreneur career in high school.

«While others were going off to college, I was running my own business,» he said. «They say education can be expensive — it’s very true. You can learn through traditional academics or real world.»

After a long stint as a martial arts instructor and competitor, Stovall suffered a career-ending injury and began working in the food and entertainment industry, where he discovered his passion for food.

«Having competed and traveled all over the world, it not only gave me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life but also taste magnificent cuisine,» he said. «My love of food stems from growing up very close to my grandmother; originally from New Orleans, she was born one of 22 kids on a river boat — so cooking was a way of life.»

Stovall said the idea behind Frosty Bev’s stemmed from Saturday morning hot-tubbing with a cool drink.
