Sorgys Scooter Supply

Sorgys is a long ride out for me. I have had really bad service in Austin from other «mechanics» so I went there after it was recommended by several riders. I am now a big fan. Brian is a mechanics mechanic. I know because I am a mechanic by trade. i work on very complex robots. My bikes yes several of them now, have to be trusted to not fail at over 100 MPH. I was waiting to write this review until after I could check over the work they did. I couldn’t be happier. I have taken my bikes there for inspection, tires, clutch work, a head gasket, lifters, carburetor issues (complex ones) and a variety of other repairs. Currently my 3^rd bike is with them for a fork seal rear brake «drum on a shaft drive» and a mystery loss of spark. If you ride a motorcycle 4 wheeler ATV etc and you dont go here you sir are a fool. Worth the wait. I found Brian not only super knowledgeable but honest and that is refreshing. They worked with me on price and I am one hell of a picky and grumpy customer so BRAVO for getting it right.
My previous experience with a Flash Motorbikes in Austin could have cost me my life the fork seal they fixed failed after their work they intoduced air into my hydraulic clutch and then when it was slipping all over the place told me I needed a new clutch… complete incompetence and at a high labor rate. I think that everyone at Flash is stoned… the front fender was barely on and the rear brake locked after a complete rebuild. That front fenders bolts were not even hand tight that mechanic said he got distracted by a phone call, it could have easily come loose and wedged causing a fatal crash… You want to die take your bike there and do like I did sit around and listen to them bad mouth their customers shame on Flash Motorbikes
Needless to say I took that bike to Sorgys to fix all the problems I have no doubts I will be just as happy when I get this baby back too. But rest assured no one gets a free pass if there is any problem at all I will run it up the flag poll. I only call them like I see them, no less and no more. Sorgys has had me send them 3 riders so far and their card is in my wallet in case you mention you need motorcycle work done. I recommend them based on price, excellent customer service, but above all the quality of work. Good family business with good people and the work is above my standards. I will have another bike soon and I will trust Sorgys to check it out because at 100 or 120 or 140 plus MPH I never want to have that little thought of doubt in my mind that I could go down due to some wanna be mechanics inferior dangerous corner cutting its close enough mind set. P. S. the 1400 I got back from Brian has seen excessive speeds and when I roll on the throttle I am one confident bastard. You slow drivers out of the way. I am riding a hell of a horse built right at Sorgys…
