Fieldside Suites

Very clean, basic lodging in close proximity to park entrance (1.5 miles) and downtown Bar Harbor. There are only 4 rooms and each one has a kitchen with 2 burner electric stovetop, mini fridge, and sink. Dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, tea kettle, and coffee maker are provided. Perfect for making breakfast before heading out. We loved the location, but if you’re looking for luxury or want to be in the heart of the downtown Bar Harbor action, look elsewhere. The king size bed was comfortable and new. There is a large field next to the rooms which is fun for frisbee throwing and kite flying. The pool is shared with the next door property (Hutchins — owned by same family) but we rarely saw it used while we were there. Probably because it’s not heated!
