History

Established in 1993.

Carolyn Schultz Interior Decorating was established in Hillsboro Oregon the spring of 1993. After completing a Masters of Science degree in Textile Science from the University of Illinois, Carolyn and her family moved to Hillsboro Oregon. Carolyn began teaching classes for the fashion and interior design programs at the Ray College of Design in Chicago then continued teaching at Portland Community College and Marylhurst University. While teaching, she founded Carolyn Schultz Interior Decorating. She loves helping people and businesses find the right décor products for their budget and style. Hunter Douglas window fashions have been a favorite product line because of their innovative designs and a variety of products to meet every budget. Other products include designer fabrics, carpet, area rugs, granite, quartz and other solid surfaces, wood flooring, vinyl & laminate flooring, paint/​colors consultation as well as design consultation.

Business Owner

Carolyn Schultz is a wife and mother to 3 children, the youngest, a special needs child. She is an active member of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish and has been a volunteer at the school since 2001. In her free time she enjoys crochet, sewing, cooking, gardening, trips to the beach and hanging out with her family!
