Goldman’s Kosher Bakery, as it is known today, was established in 1965 by Fred Cohn and his wife Inge Cohn.

For over 40 years, Baltimore’s family owned and operated Goldman’s Kosher Bakery has been dedicated to bringing its customers the finest peanut-​free kosher breads, cakes, cookies, specialty, and holiday items. All of our delectable products are made from scratch, and we continue the tradition of excellence that began when Fred Cohn bought the bakery in 1965. We still operate our bakery using the three basic principles Fred set forward many years ago:

MAX C joined his parents, Fred & Inge in Goldman’s Bakery full time starting in 1977. Throughout years of training and guidance from his father, he was able to continue the tradition and even expand the operations. The most recent expansion was adding a satellite store at 7 Mile Market, Pastries Plus. Although most of the baking is still done at Goldman’s Bakery, many of our customers are thrilled to have the choice and convenience of getting Goldman’s fresh baked products at & mile Market.
