Accelerated Urgent Care

Visited here because it’s literally 2 blocks from my house. Waited outside until 8:15 before they unlocked the doors and there was already a line forming outside. Once inside there wasn’t enough seats for everyone waiting, so we sat in the children’s area which was filthy.
We waited 45 minutes before we were taken to the back. Saw the doctor about 30 minutes later. He didn’t have a clue what to do for my daughter. He kept leaving and entering the room repeatedly. After about the 5^th time, he finally said what needed to be done. We were taken to another room, where again, the doctor was in and out repeatedly. Each time he would have another tool in his hand and would sit down to start the procedure. Then jump up and say oh I forgot the… (Whatever he forgot each time) we were there a total of 4 hours.
He gave her a prescription for something she is allergic to, so we had to wait again for him to write her another prescription.
Same doctor talked about his children (which was sweet). He mentioned his kids selling drinks and candy to people in the waiting room and how they’re such good «salesmen»… Let me just say, that pushed me into not going back. If I’m in the waiting area, it’s because I’m really sick or in pain, I don’t want to be bothered by children begging me to buy stuff from them. DEF not the place for that!
Wait wasn’t bad, lady at the counter was nice, I hear they have a check in online (didn’t use that), and location was great.

I was seen last night by Dr Masihi, wait only 30 minutes, staffing very very friendly and professional. I will recommended to friends and family

Dr. Washington saw me today. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Washington was very nice and friendly. Took great care of me! Awesome Doctor. Loved the experience

Once again a great experience got in at 7:40 and was out by 8:30. Love that I can come in and be well taken care of and created by a great staff

I was visiting family from out of town when I began to have severe abdominal pain, and vomiting! I saw Dr. Massihi at Accelerated Urgent Care, the front office girls were very friendly as was the triage nurse. My wait time wasn’t long at all, and he immediately checked me out, placed an IV in me and gave me fluids and medications to make my abdominal pain and vomiting go away! He even did an ultrasound and found out I had gallstones!
They were a complete life saver! I was so dehydrated I couldn’t keep anything down! This place is awesome! The Nurse, Carlos, was also amazing, he was very gentle and did a great job at placing my IV! I can’t begin to say how much I appreciated Accelerated Urgent Care! THANK YOU!

This review is based on my experience with my son. I think they have great results with adults, but not so much with pediatrics. I have taken my son 3 times. One visit I can say the doctor was superb but that is because he was seeing me for HFM and then checked my son to make sure as a precaution. Dr’s name started with an a. He was sweet.
So one doctor we saw when he was 9 months talked down to us and chalked our worry up to «being new parents» a day later we see our pediatrician my son gets diagnosed with reactive airway, and wheezing we were dismissed the night prior at accelerated. Another time a doctor said he needed guaifenesin, wrote the prescription. We went to the pharmacy they say it’s unsafe for children. My son was 18 months. So I thought maybe it was just a mistake. Again, NYE we went because my son had been wheezing (he has been dx with baby Asthma) the PA hardly listens and says he is good. Well we took him to pedi center 1.5 days later after he didn’t seem to be getting better. Sure enough reactive airway again! It was frustrating to say the least and scary.
So long story short. The staff and most doctors, except the one we saw when he was 9 months old, are kind but seems to miss the mark on making accurate diagnosis of young children. I won’t be brining my son there again. Again adults treatment and diagnosis are entirely different, so this is based on seeing children, specifically my now 21 month old son
Please know when you put a credit card on file and your insurance won’t cover they will end up charging your card.

Brought my foreign exchange student (that we hosted last year) here, because she bought travel medical insurance and over the phone we were told that Accelerated Urgent Care accepted her type of insurance. The counter person was very unprofessional, but the billing person assured us that she would do her best to make sure the insurance was billed and we would know in 3 months. They required my ID as the guardian and the students credit card as a guarantee. The credit card was never billed so we thought that it was successful. So almost a year later we get a bill in the mail for her, nice! In general I felt that my student was treated as if she was an uninsured immigrant when actuality she was a little Brazilian princess who could have just paid cash and probably should have, and then I would have taken her to a better urgent care who treat people nicer.

The new one on stockdale is aweful slow is beyond what we have received. I honestly think they forgot us after seeing a patient leave who was in the lobby when we came into the room. I’ve been sitting in a room for over 2 hours. Dr finally came in and ordered X-​ray and then nothing only to find out X-​ray technician was at other location. Nurse says only one technician works both places. Until this location gets act together stay away unless you like waiting forever. Not a happy camper. Was never unhappy at Brimhall location

As any other urgen care, you will wait. One think that they will ask is for your credit card information, even if you have an insurance, they will charge anything the insurance doesn’t cover. The Doctor is good, he is precise, so if you want an elaborate explanation you need to ask.

Open on Sunday = 1 star
Able to accept our insurance = 1 star
In and out within 1 hours of check in = 1 star
Loss of a star because doc didn’t know what cauliflower ear is and how to fix it.
Loss of a star because I was given strong antibiotic Bactrim, that had to be taken exactly on the hour. Couldn’t get sun exposure and had to drink liquids all day. As a teacher it’s difficult to get bathroom breaks.
Less than a week later back at urgent care because of Bactrim side effects: Sudden chills, high fever, chapped lips, achy arms, face flushing, and headaches.

My husband went in on Monday they gave him some antibiotics and sent him on his way. Then he got a call today checking in on him and he told them he still wasn’t feeling well and he thought he was actually getting worse. They scheduled for him to go back for ex rays to rule out pneumonia, well he went in and waited forever. The doctor gave him a shot and prescribed a new medication and sent him on his way! Um hello what happened to coming in to rule out something more serious?! When he asked what was going on she said its your asthma. Ok and you know that how?! Because it was a wild guess off of the top of your brain?! Co pays do not grow on trees! I really hope that the new medication helps him get better and he doesn’t need to go into his primary care just to pay another copayment!

I had stumbled across this clinic while searching for convenient places to get a physical for a new job I acquired.
Everything on the website seemed helpful. They have a list of insurances that are accepted. They also have a list of of services they provide. Which includes physicals. Awesome.
When I walked into the clinic I noticed the waiting area was decently clean. The woman at the desk asked what I was there for.
I said I was there for a physical (which I also needed a TB test).
She said «What type of insurance?» So I take out my insurance card and go to hand it to her. She retracts her hand and says «Oh, wait. The physicals here aren’t covered by insurance.»
So I asked how much. $ 100 if you want a physical, $ 125 with TB test. Would have been nice if that was stated before I wasted time and gas on this visit.
Nice clinic, but it does not serve my needs, and will probably not use it as an urgent care either. I just didn’t like the trickery behind it.

Absolutely amazing! Daughter dislocated her finger and we got to the office at 9:10 pm and prayed they would still take her knowing they closed at 9:30. Dr. Washington was amazing! He took an X-​ray and put it all back in place then took another X-​ray. He was very patient with us and made my daughter very comfortable. He’s a good man and a blessing to this urgent care. Thank you Dr. Washington!

After reaching out to this clinic and expressing our frustrations with the huge bill, the clinic adjusted our visit cost so it was more affordable. They are willing to help

By far the best urgent care facility I have visited. I went on a Saturday. After filling out papers, I waited about 20 minutes. Then I was in the office. No long waits here.

Omg! This place is awesome!!! We should get sick more often! Lol jk. Talk about absoluletly wonderful people working here. Dr. Washington and his staff were all very friendly, proffesional and the whole process was fast. The building itself is new, in a great location, very clean, and it has a very comfortable waiting area.

I’ve been here twice recently for bad air complications. I was in and out much faster than an ER. Staff and doctor were great. The professionalism and courtesy are much appreciated!

Made an appt online @ 4:30pm, to find a note on the door «…Closed from 4−6pm.» So I came back at 6pm was there for 2 hours after being seen by the doctor. What I did not understand is why he did not say go to the ER the first time he walked in and did not feel he could treat me.

Another updated review. I have no complaints about the service provided and the facilities. I did have a complain about their 3^rd party biller who charged my card iin full (over $ 600) without my authorization or my knowledge. I found out when I checked my HSA account online. Dr. Massihi responded to my review and AUC was playing phone tag with me prior to the weekend to get this resolved. I appreciate the fact that AUC did not intentionally charge my account without notifying me and that they are communicating with their billing vendor on my behalf. So I am upgrading my review to reflect this. I still make AUC my #1 urgent care facility.

This place is the business. The staff is always super friendly. With an appointment you’re in and out under an hour, which is great for an urgent care who cares for so many walk-​ins. The doctors have always been super friendly, my 2 ½ year old doesn’t mind going as he knows he gets a lollipop after the visit. I can’t think of any negatives. At all.
