I have worked many Weddings, Corporate Events, Fifteens and Sweet Sixteen’s in my career so I am very comfortable with the variety of music genre that needs to be played. Secondly, knowing how to mix in the music and put it together to keep the flow of the events going all night long. We are able to read the crowd and anticipate music selections before they are requested.

I am not a company this is an important factor because when you hire me I am the one that shows up. My partner and I both show up and perform at the event. This allows us to be able to handle anything that is thrown our way. I speak both spanish & english.

As part of out initial meeting I will go over an outline of the day’s events and make sure that your vision is followed step by step. Then I will play music for you to choose from based on music your likes and requests. Review details pricing and contract.

History

Established in 1983.

I am fortunate to be doing something I love to do for the last 31 years. I got my start DJing in 1983 as an extension of his mother’s bridal shop business in the San Gabriel Valley, with a goal of providing my clients with a variety of music genres to choose from, and a top-​notch selection within those genres.

The second most important reason was honesty! I can say to this day, that I have not had one party that I have not full filed my responsibilities. There are vendors that take advantage of clients and swap DJs depending on the price that other clients pay. Our dedication to superior client service is the result of a bad experience with a photographer on my own wedding day. «From that day onward, I promised myself to always keep my word and always fulfill my clients’ wishes to make their special day unforgettable.»

No games or package deals here, just great music that will keep the dance floor packed. We create an itinerary for the event to ensure things run smooth.

Marcel has had plenty of memorable events but the recent wedding of Poison drummer Rikki Rockett and musician Melanie Martel stands out from the rest. «This wedding was unique because they are both in the music business and wanted the wedding to be elegant, but free-​flowing enough to have their live jam session,» Marcel recalls. «During the evening their friends came up and played a few songs. I was not only the DJ but the Coordinator and MC for the night.»

With all the weddings, Sweet 16’s and Quinceañeras he has done over the years, Marcel says he is most proud of «knowing I have played such an important role in making clients’ wedding day dreams come true. Doing something I love to do and being able to share it with so many people has brought a special fulfillment in my life!»
