Amazing movers! Brogan, (the owner) arrived at my home exactly at the time he promised to do an estimate. When moving day came, He arrived with a crew of 3 (including Brogan) and he arrived 10 minutes early! That was 8:20 in the morning.
These gentlemen were polite, considerate, and very hard working! They did not stop for a break, they did not take lunch and they did not complain. They did not damage one little thing!
Long story short, they finished the job faster than I could have imagined. To top it all off, Brogan adjusted the price to reflect how long it took. The final bill was about half of what was estimated.
His crew (Nick and Alex) were amazing, in my opinion. Brogan is lucky to have them. These guys are going to go far with the professional attitude and the considerate way in which they do business.
Just a month before I had a horrible experience with Aussie movers who moved my wife’s daughter out. not only were they 7 hours late but they were beyond rude. Yes folks, there is a difference in whom you chose to move you!
Brogan and all the associates from YouMoveMe… YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Thank you so much!

I guess you could use the local guys who charge $ 75 an hour for a Truck and a couple guys…
But, I can assure you that the cost will climb because of their structure.
The U Move Me crew of four were ready to roll… House to house (both two story homes), packed the truck, loaded and unloaded by 2PM. These guys did not even stop for lunch. All of my furniture and appliances were blanketed and wrapped for protection, Great staff, great uniforms, clean cut, attentive, knowledgeable… could not have been more impressed.
Total piece of mind.
Again, good luck with a couple guys and a vehicle… wonder where they are recruiting from?

I was trying to find a reason not to award 5 stars — but could not.
Pros — Professional, well-​spoken, dress like they are professional movers
Called before arriving and arrived on the agreed upon window of time.
Cost was middle of the road. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Accepted credit cards and cash. Advise clarifying payment options upfront.
Clean truck.
Knowledgeable team leader.
Once details were agreed upon — moved quickly.
Cons — if I don’t put something negative, you won’t believe my review so here it is: You Move Me is not the cheapest moving company. Final cost was more than the initial quote.
My situation was almost 3 weeks of trying to find a home for a very old piano that I call, Old Faithful. for months — No one wanted Old Faithful.
Finally someone wanted Old Faithful.
The situation? Who could move 600 pound old faithful?
Various people tried to roll Old Faithful — but a wheel broke off. Instead of two people, four were needed.
We were stuck with an ugly piano sitting on the curb.
Next we were in trouble with Northtown Municipal District because no item can sit on the curb.
Various moving companies were contacted. None answered my call. I sent messages and completed forms online. No response.
Apparently the move would not earn enough profit.
In everyone’s mind was to roll the piano. I knew rolling would not work.
The only options were tear it apart and send it to the landfill, or call a junker to haul it way.
Call after call, no junker would accept the project. I finally decided to call 1−800-Got Junk.
After a brief evaluation on the phone with a computer, I was routed to a live person with a northeast coast accent. I was happy to have someone who could clearly understand my situation. No. 1800 Got Junk did not move items from one residence to another.
I was saddened to know Old Faithful was going to the great piano resting place after being chopped apart and sent to dump ground. The sadness only lasted a moment. 1800 Got Junk had a sister division called You Move Me.
After a brief hold, the move was scheduled for the next day. The team that arrived as scheduled was Alex the team leader, Nick, and Ryan. Alex knew what to do to move the piano. After explaining insurance limitations to both me and the receiving person, the team went into action. They were strong. They secured the piano and sent it up the ramp quickly. The piano was rolled into place — yes they know how to get it onto rolling things — and secured the piano so it would not roll around in the truck. I did not witness the receiving end but received a thank you from the receiving party.
The team returned, received payment and immediately sent a receipt.
My experience was a positive one. I was highly concerned then highly relieved when the move ended. I believe the cost of the move was fair. I normally do not post names of staff on Unilocal but movers are an exception because in my opinion good teams should be recognized. Moving even one item is stressful. Knowing names helps relieve stress. What impressed me the most was their understand of the physics of moving. Alex foresaw problems and corrected problems so they would not become disasters. Badly behaving staff get most of the attention on Unilocal.Well behaved staff get perks for getting their names online but you can be sure of the motive of the reviewer. My wife and I recently hired this company to move our 2500 sq. ft. household goods. Brogan Miller personally came to our home and provided a professional estimate. I can tell you that the value provided for the service was exceptional. Their customer service was also excellent and they did exactly what they said they would do at the time they said they would do it. This is rare for many service providers who will typically give you lots of attention during the selling phase and then fall short during the execution phase. Not the case with Brogan’s You Move Me team. We highly recommend them for your moving project (large or small). You can be sure it will be done right the first time and allow you to focus on all the other aspects requiring your attention during moving projects. Of course moving ones goods can be a tricky business and sometimes things go wrong. I can say that minimal issues arose and the team were quick to offer solutions and keep moving forward. I applaud this type of accountability and wish more businesses operated this way. Moving is stressful enough and you don’t need problems without solutions causing additional stress to the situation. We’ve moved many times and I can honestly say they were the most pleasant and professional company we’ve done business with in this space.

The booking process was way easier then any other company out there. I was able to see availability on their website which makes it a lot easier when trying to schedule a move. I spoke with Brogan about the details of the move; he was professional and very nice to work with.
On the day of the move Alex and Mark were on time and arrived with Starbucks in hand. Very nice touch for an early morning move! The actual move went very smoothly; they handled the items with care but took the time to make sure everything was packed properly. I would suggest looking for tips online to make it easier on your movers, which in turn makes it easier (and cheaper) for yourself.
Finally, they came in under their estimated quote (which was lower than all the other quotes I received) and left a surprise gift!
All around great experience. Highly recommend!

Lets be clear, not the least expensive option, but worth the piece of mind. A last minute move with other movers that cancelled 30 minutes prior to the scheduled move on a Friday night left us all in a bit of panic. It was obvious they just wanted their Friday (party) night off.
Begin calling and stumble across ‘You Move Me Austin’ on Unilocal.«Yes we’ll do it first thing in the morning», «Yes, here’s the cell phone number of the local coordinator for any questions/​schedules changes», «Yes, quoted rate and was upfront with costs/​conditions». Fine, great, we’ll see…(not jaded about past experiences with moving companies here at all…).
Brogan is the local Austin «coordinator». WOW, professional and on time and kept me updated. A new NICE truck and partner to move A LOT of stuff from a 3^rd floor switch back stairs. When it became obvious that things were going to take a little longer through no fault of theirs… we had so many boxes; Brogan called in the «troops» and brought another 2 man team on board to unload.
In short you can’t reasonably ask for anything better that Brogan, his crew and the equipment. Professional and extremely personable group of fellas make for what is almost everyone’s worst things to do. Moving is hectic, labor intensive and maddening, in the best of times.
You won’t go wrong with these gents, I will definitely use them again and can recommend without question.

This was a move for a member of my family that I handled and Brogan (You Move Me) was thoughtful enough to bring in a gift and give it to my family member. Who the hell does that these days… Nice touch.

Brogan and Mark showed up as planned and on time, even bringing coffee from Starbucks for me and the Mrs. These guys are professional, polite, and quickly worked through our project. After the horrible experience we had with our movers from St. Louis to Georgetown, they were a much welcomed breath of fresh air. I booked You Move Me fairly last minute, but the team showed up bright eyed, bushy tailed, uniformed, and ready to sweat it out on an especially humid Austin Spring day. I couldn’t have been more impressed. They were professional and personable, careful and considerate, attentive, but still very fast and efficient. It felt like there was a mini army working to move me out, and I found myself showboating a little pride when the neighbors at my old place saw who I’d hired.
I also felt cared for and safe, which allowed me to go run errands, call utility companies, put in my forwarding address, and all the other random tedious things you feel like there’s no time for on moving day.
The crew chief was a true professional, and he made the whole experience feel seamless (never EVER thought a move could feel that way).
The pricing was very reasonable, and easily affordable. I wouldn’t consider them dirt cheap, but that’s only because their quality was so high. This isn’t some shlub showing up in a wife beater with a hangover, dropping your grandma’s vase and pocketing jewellery you forgot you had. I could have easily paid double or triple what I paid with them at another moving company for the level of service I received.
