These guys are awesome. Their rates are very fair and they work efficiently. They were super accommodating to my schedule, took impeccable care of the furniture they moved for me, and I felt comfortable with them in our home. They guy I bought the furniture from texted me and said, «You hired a really good company. They wrapped everything in blankets and plastic and were really careful.» Highly recommend for responsiveness, efficiency, not being creepy, and overall just doing a really good job.

Can I rate 6 stars?! I used Big Easy to unload my truck after driving from Atlanta to Austin. Ultra flexible, professional timely and accommodating .
I (myself) ran a day late and they still made time for me! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME … I will use them for all of my moves. AND I’m recommending them to my corporate HR as a preferred vendor!
Added bonus: They are real people and took the time to give me pointers on the city and move my super heavy furniture around until I liked it.
Ps. I definitely recommend Big Easy if you are a single female since they were polite and gentelmenly as well as honest in their price.

They were on time, wrapped everything carefully, and did a great job. I had a Unilocal deal for $ 100 off, but they wrote it on the quote as $ 50 off. There were no issues making the correction, and Bryce emailed to apologize for the mix-​up. All in all, it was a pretty easy move.

I will never hire or recommend any local moving company besides Big Easy’s Moving. From the excellent management and leadership of Nick, the owner, to the job managers, all the way down the workers, this company is everything you could hope for and then some. Professional, courteous, truly care about your things and making what is usually a very stressful day a good and successful experience I have a family of five and the guys took great care to make sure we were well taken care of, all three were genuinely nice guys, worked the entire time without any relent and got us from point A to point B in FIVE HOURS. Amazing. They communicate, deliver what they promise and do it with a smile on their face. We bid the job out to three or four different movers, and Big Easy’s was the obvious choice. After they finished, we couldnt have been happier we made the right choice with this burgeoning and extremely professional young company. Wow, what more can I say. I will never hire or recommend any other mover in the Austin area. We found the best one in town.

Ryan and Kris did an AMAZING job helping me move last weekend! They took good care of all of my furniture (wrapped it all to protect it) and moved me in so quickly and efficiently! No elevator at either apartment and they still finished the entire job in only a little over 2 hours. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and would ask specifically for these two.

These guys did a fantastic job, from my original email to schedule the move and questions regarding rates and an estimate all the way until the last box was brought off the moving truck was a breeze. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I hired this company to help me move 2 weekends ago. Everything started off fine, but they chipped the walls in my new apartment. And by chipped, there are large chunks missing from my walls. They also broke a sconce. I was a little bit worried about the damages to the wall and my dresser but I was assured they would come back to fix my wall. While unpacking, I noticed a base to my lamp was missing. I called them the next day to coordinate a time for my walls to be fixed and to get my lamp. No answer so I left a message. The next day, I called them several times and finally got a response. I was told they would drop off my lamp the next day and would be in touch to schedule a time to fix my walls and sconce. Now it’s 8 days after my move and they will not return my calls and I still don’t have my lamp. If you want a company that doesn’t have the integrity to return a phone call and that will give empty promises to repair their damages then hire this company.

So I was moving back to Austin from Dallas, I called so many moving company to get a quote. After search after search, I don’t know why I didn’t think of contacting Nick from Big Easy’s Moving. I called Nick & explained that I am a returning customer. Nick remembered me & arranged my moving from Dallas to Austin.
I was very happy with them when they moved me the first time & I knew they won’t let me down.
Bottom line, I told Nick «I love you guys!». There were few snags here & there but Nick communicated with me very well and most of all he ensured me he will take care of my moving.
Mike & Ryan showed on 9 am on Sunday & moved all my stuff to Austin by 3pm. Since traffic was bad, I expected them showing up around 5pm.
I can praise them enough how great they are. I took some photos when they removed an old giant TV from 3rd floor to ground level. They packed & gentle with my furniture.
Since I have been moving just about once in a year, I learned good movers are like a best friend. You don’t have to constant in contact but when you call cause you need a help, they are right there for you.
Packing sucks & moving sucks but because of Big Easy’s moving, I can say I have a best friend in Moving business! LOL

I have owned a furniture company for over 20 years. In all that time, I think this company has provided us with the best service of any delivery service we have ever used. They’re always punctual and we’ve had zero damage in hundreds of moves. The owner, Nick, is personally involved in almost all phases of jobs. It is not often that you have movers show up that are so clean cut and put you at ease in the stressful time of a move. Sal and Andy did a great job of moving me to my new place. They were so helpful and willing to do anything I needed. By the time we were done, it felt like they were good friends. This is my first truly positive experience moving! Big Easy’s moving team is awesome. I cannot give them adequate praise. Everyone that worked on our move were extremely professional and courteous. Nick the owner gave us a bid with several options which made it nice to customize my move experience to meet our needs. We payed by the hour and these guys worked every minute of every hour. They definitely did not milk the hourly rate concept. The communication from the entire team was fantastic from the initial contact and bid through a follow– up after the move Our move was not simple they moved a 4200 sqft home with multiple stories and a steep driveway without damaging a thing which included china, antiques and some non replaceable nick knacks. Great Job Big Easy’s!!!

We had expensive and very heavy furniture. I spoke with Nick over the phone and then he came out for a free in-​home quote. They gave me a They extremely professional and very curtious and careful. We have some tight hallways and I was worried about my walls but not a scratch was left. They took great care of my grandma’s China as well. Ive referred them to my coworkers, who have all said they had the best moving exoerience they’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. The guys were pros and very affordable. They beat quotes from 3 other companies, and had the best moving experience ive ever had.

Big Easy’s did a GREAT job with our move from Austin to Dallas this past weekend. Shawn & Earl were on site and did a fantastic job and we had great communication from the owner Nick as well. They gave us a good price (lower than many others we had talked to) and worked hard to get the job done right. Despite a delay during the day and some traffic that caused them to get here later than we planned (it happens, that’s life) the guys did a really fantastic job trying to make up for lost time and we were very impressed with their work. These guys took extra care to make sure items weren’t broken or busted and were super friendly, hard working and got the job done fast! Clearly these guys knew what they were doing and made us feel more confident! Will and would definitely recommend this company for any future moves!

They loaded all my belongings into their truck, both quickly and carefully, and transported to my storage unit, where they were unloaded them in the same fashion. Moving is usually painful, but Big Easy’s Movers made our move SO easy! We heard about them from some friends who had highly recommended them from their move last summer. Nick was so great when I first contacted him about quotes and continued to be professional and patient throughout our correspondences and my many questions for him. We had a tough job for them, with 2 roommates moving out of a 3rd story apartment into 2 separate locations on the HOTTEST day of the summer. They loaded the truck efficiently and were very careful with all of our stuff.
The guys were so nice and they are very reasonably priced and I would DEFINITELY use them again for my next move! Thanks Big Easy’s!

These guys have saved my LIFE on multiple occasions!
First, when another moving company straight up didn’t show up for our scheduled move out date, my lease was up, and I was contractually obligated to vacate the premises in 24 hours, I was — for lack of a better term — screwed. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended these guys to me and they saved the day. I called them and they were able to schedule a move for LITERALLY the next morning — as in less that 12 hours from my phone call. That type of offer is practically unheard of. Not only were they speedy in their turnaround, but AWESOME in the execution of their work. I am paranoid about a lot of my items — some being family heirlooms — but they treated each item as if it were a priceless work of art, carefully wrapping, stacking, etc. to avoid shifts in weight or damages to the items in the least bit.
Not only do the movers complete their work at an exceptional pace and with outstanding care, but they’re also just a bunch of nice guys. Most are current students or recent graduates from the University of Texas (hook ‘em) and are very friendly and conversational.
I used them again to move my things from Austin to Oklahoma City when I had work opportunities there and they did a phenomenal job. They unloaded my storage unit, pit-​stopped in my hometown of Longview, Texas, to drop off unwanted extra furniture and to pick up a few things, then made the trek to Oklahoma City and were an hour ahead of schedule — ALL in the same day! Yet again they surpassed any and all of my expectations without a single piece of furniture scuffed in the slightest.
Not to mention, for such high quality care, the company offers VERY competitive rates for moves!
I am now getting ready for yet another relocation from Austin back to Longview (being a small business owner lends itself to frequent travel) and I couldn’t possibly imagine utilizing ANY other moving service in the greater Austin area. Thank you Nick, and thank you Big Easy’s Moving!
