I won’t use anyone else — these guys are the best and always take care of me. They are easy to get a hold of and extremely professional.

The other rave reviews on here are true. TKO is really a great company with great employees. Prices are fair, service is great, locally owned (maybe family owned I believe). Josh was very patient and thorough. Explained everything to me in laymen’s terms and never pressured me to do anything. Even checked out some potential future projects while he was here and took the time to explain every detail. I am a big fan. Will use them from now on. Great company.

Trey and his team are as good as it gets. From customer service to installation, they put the customer’s needs in front of everything else on their plate. Trey has come out numerous times to my house after hours to troubleshoot issues on my aging HVAC system; not one time has he tried to pressure me in to upgrading the system. The time is near for my entire system to be replaced and I will not entertain another mechanical company for the job. Great job Trey! You and your team have been a pleasure to work with over the last year and a half.

Don’t even think about calling anyone else for your HVAC systems. We had three at our old house and Trey was the smartest, most efficient diasnostician and repairman possible for these units. He had a plan for making the plenum more efficient the next time we needed to replace a unit. We have moved now, but TKO will be our service and repair company at the new place, too. Trey and Josh are the very best.

We’ve had Trey and Josh out 3 times in the last two years to work on our 30±year-old HVAC system. This review is LONG overdue! I’ve rarely been so impressed by a company: from the personable woman who handles the calls, to the knowledgeable, polite and very thorough young men who come out to do the work — the name of the company should be PROFESSIONAL!
Our house was a beat-​up old rental when we bought it, and I doubt much maintenance had ever been done to the HVAC. The guys taught us how to perform said much-​needed maintenance on our system from the very first visit. Two years later it looks like the old system will finally have to go, but they just (again) helped keep it alive for a few more months so we can get the replacement funds together.
They stay until the job is done (tonight it was 9 pm!) and always tell us ways to save money in the future.
I was only kind of joking with them when I noted that once we install the new HVAC we will not have to see so much of them! (We’re going to have them do the install and yearly maintenance — wooo!)

I’ve used TKO Heating & Air twice now to service our A/​C system which is 20 years old. Last night, we had a massive drain clog that we didn’t discover until nearly 6 pm. I called Trey and he was at our house by 8:30 pm. He took care of the issue, helped with the cleanup, and even made sure that our system is now better suited to prevent such clogs in the future.
Trey and his team are committed to exceptional customer service. Both times I’ve had to use TKO he’s been the one that we’ve worked with and I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s courteous, professional, doesn’t recommend work that’s not needed to upsell you. He takes care of the issue and even goes the extra step to advise you on how to prevent similar problems in the future.
I’m keeping his card on file because I wouldn’t use anyone else. Trey and his team at TKO is top notch in every category.

I was having a duct problem, and Trey came out that week to diagnose it. They give free estimates, but apparently duct inspection (which involves cutting open boxes and took about an hour) costs $ 95. They will apply the $ 95 to your repair however if you decide to work with them. Due to the miscommunication, Trey didn’t charge me anything for his time. I did wind up having them do my repairs, and they came out on Saturday (didn’t charge me extra for it, they wanted to!)
TKO is very much a family company — which translates into lower costs. Trey’s brother, Josh, did the installation and Trey came by to check up. I think their mother might answer the phones and coordinate everyone. They were both very polite and professional. I’d call them again anytime.

TKO found and fixed a leak in my AC unit’s evaporator coil. I was very impressed with Trey (owner and technician). He’s very knowledgeable and and takes the time to fully explain what’s going on. He’s a real down-​to-​earth guy, very friendly, and very sharp. I’ll definitely use him again in the future.

Our system went out last night, so we spent the night with open windows and fans blowing full force; however, it was still sweaty and not the best sleep ever. To make it worse, my teenage daughter complained and she is a master of complaining when it comes to heat.
I came home at lunch today to find my partner had not yet called for repair. After reading some Unilocal reviews, I found TKO and called. Trey came out and fixed the problem. He is personable and seems to l like our new dog (a plus because we ADORE her). We now have air again & I will be calling him the next time we need a repair — or if we *finally* get around to adding HVAC to the ground floor.

I wanted somebody I could trust, somebody who’s knowledgeable, and didn’t want to have somebody trying to sell me repairs and equipment I didn’t need. I found all that and more with Trey from TKO.
I did my homework before we called, and knew the work I needed done (primary drain line from the condenser was clogged up good). He came out quickly (same day, within hours!), quickly confirmed the issues, and also provided great advice and information on keeping my system running properly in the future — and what a friendly, nice guy to boot!
I hope I don’t need any additional service anytime soon, but I do know who I’ll be calling if issues arise again, or if anybody asks my recommendations — thanks again Trey!

TKO is a great company! Texas summers can get very uncomfortable when the air conditioning is not performing, so it’s important to find someone who doesn’t make you wait! The service was prompt and the inspection of our AC unit was thorough. And the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this business!

Starting in June, I noticed my house was not as cool as it should be. When walking into my bedroom, you get hit with very warm unmoving air. I tried contacting Austin Air Dynamics but never received a call back. So back to Unilocal to find another AC guy. Found TKO and called. Later that day, Trey called back. We scheduled him to come in a couple of days when I would be home.
He arrived slightly early which is a good sign. I introduced him to KC, turns out he has cats too so he understood the intro. Then to work he went. He went to work on the outside unit. A little cleaning and blowing out the drain, the house felt slightly cooler.
Inside he inspects the attic over the garage and finds it divided. So he climbs a ladder for the attic over the bedroom. I was concerned of the heat in the attic, he assured me that it was cool up there. Why, you ask because the main duct was split wide open, letting the cool air into the attic.
He does a quick fix of taping closed all the ducts. He tells me that when they previously replaced the duct work, they never removed the old ducts. Also they never replaced the duct going through the dividder wall in the attic. He promises to send me a quote to replace the last duct and clean out the old ducts. Two weeks later, he emails the quote.
The price was reasonable and Trey was personable and professional. I will be using him again for the additional AC work I want done.

Trey is the bomb. I don’t bother ever calling anyone else. I’ve had him work on both of my houses and i’ve been very happy with him. He knows what he’s doing, he’s super courteous, and he never keeps me waiting. (I guess he knows how impossible it is to sleep when it’s 90 degrees in your house.) I called him today at 1 oclock and he came over at 3, was finished by 3:30. That’s service.

Trey at TKO rules. I don’t have a «damsel in distress» air conditioning story, but we had a very minor issue and he spent several hours being very detailed about how we could improve efficiency. Clearly he was not trying to sell us anything and was so prompt, professional and thorough, I am a customer FOR LIFE. Trey is the owner and if he’s as good as hiring as he is at his job, I can’t imagine how you could go wrong.

TKO Heating and Air saved the day last week! We came home to a digital thermostat that had no power running to it and a heating system that was completely shut off (it was in the 20s outside!). Trey was extremely helpful on the phone and immediately had Chris (he was closer in proximity) come out to assess the problem. Chris was kind, professional and put our worried, first-​time-​homeowner minds at ease. He explained the problem and solution in terms we could understand and made the repairs effectively and efficiently. Since then, they’ve called to check on the repair and make sure we feel good about the work they did. Their prices were fair, and we will definitely have them back for all our heating and cooling needs!
