The Lice Place

This place is awesome. The entire staff is patient and will do their best to help you. They truly care and want to help. The facilities are clean and the service is great. Nobody wants to deal with lice or let others know your kids have it, but if you are willing to share with others and bring others’ kids in with parent permission, they can help solve the mystery if your kids have a recurrent problem.

I don’t think I’ve ever encountered such a great group of women that are as hard working, determined and dedicated and as they are. From the time I arrived at 10:30 am to the time I left at 4:30 Ms Cody and her staff never stopped working (literally). They worked all the way through to help me and my daughters get rid of the head lice problem they had been suffering with for some time. They were all courteous, extremely meticulous and most importantly of all they had all the patience in the world. I don’t know anyone except them that can be as as patient from beginning to end and work six hours straight hand combing the lice out like they did. No chemicals only hard work and patience. Thanks Ms Cody and all of your staff for helping me get rid of this nightmare.

Lice has always been my worst nightmare. I feared my kids getting it, treating it, dealing with the aftermath hearing from friends who tried treatment after treatment and took weeks to finally get rid of the problem. I resolved to head straight to professionals if this pestilence ever struck our family. Lo and behold, we found ourselves dealing with them – not surprising with kids in school.
I can’t say enough about The Lice Place. When I got the call from the school, I immediately called them up panicking and they soothed my fears over the phone and got us in right away, same day. I have three very rambunctious boys with lots of energy who have a hard time sitting nicely. No problem for these professionals! They put on a movie of their selection in front of their treatment chairs and worked around the wiggles. I am used to apologizing and trying to give firm instructions about our expectations, but the staff assured me they were ok and used to dealing with kids. I love that we got a free follow up and will get three months of free head checks that we hopefully will not need to use.
Knock on wood that we don’t ever have to deal with this again, but if we do, we will come straight in to TLP, no doubt! It is worth saving yourself the headache, trust me!

So I live south and have visited the AWESOME location off of Hymeadow. Then I see this sign one day that says «now open south Austin, the Lice place! I actually called to find out where the new location was as one of the kids had again gotten bugs from school. I went to the new location and was BLOWN AWAY! Great job on your second location! I will come here every time as the location is so convenient. I actually walked over to central market and grabbed some lunch! Once I was done with lunch I came back and grabbed my LICE FREE KIDDO! Rock on Lice Place!!!

I cannot say enough good things about The Lice Place! Let’s admit it, the last thing you want to find on your kids are lice but it’s almost bound to happen at least once. The Lice Place puts your mind at ease by quickly riding your head of these nasty bugs and informing you of how to clean your house which isn’t nearly as much as you actually think! They use all natural good smelling minty products in your hair so no worries about harsh chemicals. We also learned about a special brush they sell to help get rid of my daughters dandruff. Both Austin locations are very clean, neat and private. Cody, thank you soooo much for getting us in right away and being so sweet to us! You and your whole staff are the best!
