The Cherry Bomb Party Bus

I called to get a quote for my boyfriends birthday and got quoted for the bus that fit up to 36ish people. At first we only had 14 – 16 people but I was told that the only one available was the 36 people bus. On the day of, the driver arrives late a shuttle looking like bus! and still have to go and pick up Ice. I mentioned to the driver the issue of the wrong bus and he says he will investigate. Ok. He says his mistake and that he quoted me the 36 people bus, then why did he bring the shuttle bus? And how much are you really charging me? To make up for it he offers the last hour free. It was embarrassing to have our friends expecting one big decked out school bus and we get a crappy little shuttle bus where the AC doesn’t work or the TVs for karaōke. Would probably not recommend.

I emailed and called a lot of party bus rentals in Austin, and the Cherry Bomb was the only service in which a person answered the phone and was very helpful. This person was Erwin. He said he would check the schedule and get back to me, and sure enough emailed me a few hours later. They worked me into a busy day and gave me a very fair price for my 3 hour adventure. Most places require a 4 hour minimum, even on Sunday, but Cherry Bomb did not. I felt very secure using their payment system which is all built in via their site, and received a sales receipt with every transaction. The whole set up was very professional. Enough with the boring stuff though, the bus itself was awesome.
Our driver was Phil. He showed up on time, parked in the exact place I specified, and already had my itinerary memorized. He was very kind and patient. We went to Graffiti Park, Auditorium Shores, then Moontower Saloon. The dance pole proved to be a lot of fun and the sound system was loud and proud. All 29 attendees had a blast. I would definitely rent from The Cherry Bomb again!

I’ve used Cherry Bomb about 4 times and all have been a great success. The bus always arrived on time and drivers were always nice and professional.
The Good: The bus was clean and AC on blast. Speakers were loud and cooler was large and built-​in. What more can you ask for?! Oh did I mention they are the only bus with a karaōke machine in Austin. Worked perfect for the rock-​star theme I had.
The Bad: Obviously with a 5-​star review the bad is not soooo bad. Only negative feed back I have is in the design. The seats are school-​like up front so if makes it a little difficult so mingle with everyone else. The back of the bus has more of a open space though. Either way still worked out.

The Cheery Bomb Party Bus was the icing on the cake to our annual company holiday party. There is plenty of room for everyone, a built in karaōke machine, and an extremely friendly driver.

It was a bomb alright… The bus was over an hour late, and then the driver had to finish cleaning the bus when he arrived. Our first stop was less than a mile from our pick up location to get ice and gasoline. The air conditioning doesn’t work well AT ALL when matched with early Texas summer heat, and sitting in the middle of the bus is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone was hot, sweaty, and ready to get off the bus. To top it all off, they are not even allowed on Becker Vineyards property. They didn’t bother to tell us that when we booked our vineyard tour or even when we were headed to Becker. So we got off the bus, bought wine and food, spread out at the tables outside, and were then asked to leave immediately. We had several Becker wine club members in our group, but Becker claimed to have so many issues with The Cherry Bomb as a company that they have been banned (and were aware of it.) That wasted so much of our time that we didn’t have enough time to go somewhere else.

It’s 3:26 pm in Lexington, TX, with a 3:00 pm reservation. 26 High School students, most seniors, about to experience their last hoorah of high school. And where’s the cherry bomb? Who know’s because they won’t answer the phone.

Excellent Bus Service. Hired Cherry Bomb to take me and a group of graduate school friends to see a concert at Austin 360. Had an amazing time. Totally connected back to our undergrad roots. Philip the bus driver was extremely accommodating. This company had a better price AND a larger bus than any competitor. I HIGHLY recommend the Cherry Bomb Party Bus.

It’s a BLAST. This bus has it all: 50s style vinyl «bar» seating with tables, dance stations and a cool driver. Our Cherry Bomb experience was pre-​planned to perfection — we just showed up, got on and had so much fun.

I was hoping to make some comment about how the Cherry Bomb Party Bus was «da bomb» (get it? haha), but someone has already beat me to it. My friend had a birthday party and chartered? rented? the Cherry Bomb to drive us around so we could get wasted on a moving vehicle and not get a DUI. It was a pretty cool experience; if you’ve never been on a party bus, it’s like that time you and your friends rented a limo to take you to prom, but 100x better because now you can drink and no one is awkward when you’re drinking (ok, maybe a little bit but that’s on you.)
The particular bus I was on had 2 TVs; one in the front and another one in the back. I’m told there is a karaōke system that we did not take advantage of… but we did take advantage of that thing where you can plug your iPod/​MP3 player/​phone into and play the music over the speakers. Also, they have a giant cooler for your adult bevvies and a stripper pole for your adults. The interior is decked out with these lights that change colors, and there is probably a strobe light or disco ball on board too, so you can feel like you are at «da club.» There were these two guys on the bus who were super cool and I didn’t realize until later that they were the owners of the bus. Kevin & Justin, love youuuuuuuuuuuu!
Without saying too much, people got super crazy but the driver, Carla, handled it like a pro. She probably has to deal with that every weekend, and I’m sure she was used to it, but give her a big tip anyway for dealing with your drunk ass!
TLDR: Rent the Cherry Bomb Party Bus and all your dreams will come true.

I rented the Cherry Bomb to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wasn’t totally sure what to do and the staff provided me with lots of ideas and insights. We ended up taking it to Blazer Tag (highly recommended, btw) and a few bars. Our driver, Carla, was a doll. Every interaction I had with the staff — via email, phone calls, in real life, was positive and professional. The Cherry Bomb is a crazy fun time — try it out! Your only regrets will involve your tremendous hangover the next day.

This bus keeps the funk alive, with it’s crazy red sparkle interior and rockin sound system! It is a blaaaaaaaaaaaast!!! I’m getting excited just thinking about how much fun we had! You can’t go wrong with a safe ride wherever you want to go, plenty of booze, music, lights and all of your closest friends.
It was super easy to book and the prices are great. We have done other party buses that were crap, with no A/​C and crappy sound systems so you get what you pay for with those. But the Cherry Bomb is a great value and even has playlists you can choose from. The other buses I have been on only have an aux chord, even limo style buses. They also have the built in cooler that is missing from other buses we have been on so you don’t have to drag on your cooler and get it off at the end of the night when you are completely waaaaaaaaaasted… So much fun, we’ll be back for sure!!!

I used the Cherry Bomb last year for my wedding – I would highly recommend using them and plan on using them again in the future for large group party plans. I’m originally from Michigan, so I had a number of people in town for the wedding and this was a great and responsible way for them to see Austin. We actually used them twice, once for partying after the rehearsal dinner and then to get guests downtown following the wedding.
The guys are really good about calling you up ahead of time and making sure you’re at your selected pickup spot, etc. They’re also great about letting you use your own music and media. I have been on several party buses in Austin – these guys are really laid back and willing to listen to their customers. We have heard great things about their tubing trips and wine tours too from friends.

This is honestly the most fun party bus I have ever been on! I joined my friends on a birthday party tubing trip on the Cherry Bomb and had a BLAST!
Booking was easy, they provided everything they promised and on top of that, they helped spur the fun!
After our trip I liked these guys on Facebook and found out there is a whole social cult that comes with the Cherry Bomb! Bar crawls, tailgates, more tubing trips AND you can rent it exclusively for your friends to party on!

You want a bus with a stripper pole, music, karaōke, and a cooler with ice to take you around town and anywhere you want to go? You got it. This is THE BEST thing to do if you are looking to hit the town with a big group of people, they will pick you up and drop you off anywhere you want, on time, and take you anywhere and everywhere in between!
I can’t say enough great things — the Cherry Bomb is a BLAST! And they are the friendliest people to work with too, my party coordinator, Kevin, had endless suggestions and helpful advice and would get back with me immediately, renting the bus was SO easy.

Pour vodka and Red Bull energy drink into a small glass. Add grenadine slowly so it sinks to the bottom without mixing for a cool layered effect. ???
Perhaps the best way to define the cherry bomb is using all of the above components along with a firecracker of your own spice when you hop on this party bus!
It’s good times on wheels going anywhere you want in the heart of central Texas. All aboard are your favorite drinks (bring any drinks your heart desires) curb side drop offs (very heels friendly and to hell with paying for parking) karoaking with new friends, best friends, whoever, and all the while partying on eco-​friendly terms: 1 bus full of diverse walks of life and less cars on the road! Both safe and earth-​friendly. Austin appreciates that.

I was invited to join my friends for a tubing trip to the Guadalupe for the 4^th of July in which we would take the Cherry Bomb. I didn’t know what I was getting into but the ride was an absolute blast.
We picked up and left Austin on time. We were greeted by a super friendly driver and stepped into a party atmosphere right away — there were decorations for the 4^th and the music was rockin. We jammed out to some oldies but goodies on the way to the river and everyone was singing along. This bus is AWESOME!
They provided their own tubes that had neck rests and cup holders, wayyy better than those hot black rubber tubes. The owners, Justin and Kevin, were helpful about getting into and out of the river, and picking up the group to leave. They were even nice enough to make a stop on the way home so we could refill our coolers with adult beverages! Maybe they knew we would tip more if they got us even more wastey faced?! Someone busted out karaōke on their appletv (which was sweet!) and before we knew it everyone was singing (again!).
Overall, it was a great time and I am looking for a reason to rent the bus for myself! I would totally do an event with them again. Thanks!

About a week ago I saw an event posted on Unilocal for a «Rockstars & Groupies Pub Crawl.» It sounded like a total blast.
So, I tried to gather up the troops (which failed, lame!) and also alerted the GF that we were going to take a ride on the Cherry bomb.
I honestly had no idea what I was getting into, but I did know that I am all for theme parties, particularly if they involve little clothing on women.
I got home less then an hour before I had to board the bus. Thankfully, my girlfriend picked up some SWEET black velvet pants (they were women’s pants, haha). I threw on a really tight black shirt and some gaudy sunglasses and was good to go. Not my best work, but for 15 minutes of work, it had to do.
Packed up my cooler full of Tecate and ice (Justin, I need that back!) and then we trucked it over to Little Woodys on 6^th.
The genius thing about the party bus is there are multiple pick up and drop off points. The first pick up off was way far south in Austin, then a pick up at Little Woodrows and finally one in north Austin at Sherlocks.
After everyone boarded, we went over to Weirdos, which was an awesome bar. Then we went to Nomad bar (by this point, people had, had quite a few and were in no mood for a chill bar). Then we went to Lustre Pearl. Finally, we made it to Moltov. Moltov was a bit of a challenge; the large number of jello shots finally caught up with everyone. It was a sloppy time on the dance floor.
It was a blast! Justin and Kevin were cool cats and made sure that everyone had a good time. For $ 15, you really can’t beat it for a great night out!

I was fortunate enough to ride the Cherry Bomb this weekend for the Rockstars & Groupies Pub Crawl. $ 15 for the night is a helluva deal, wow, did we have a blast!
We boarded the bus with strangers at Woody’s, and picked up some more people on the way. Started up north at Weirdos, then moved south along 183, then 35, then west 6^th, then ultimately, Red River strip. We started out at 7pm, but had to bail from Moltov around 2am. We never made it to the end, too hard core for us, ha.
We were in costume, but very mild compared to the folks that came out for this. About half the bus knew each other, but the rest of us were randoms. everyone was so nice though, it didn’t seem to matter at all. Besides, when Lil’John’s «Shots!» comes on every ten minutes (bad ass AV system up in this bus) and cherry bomb jello shots are passed out, everyone becomes family. This bad boy was also BYOB, (or BYOC, C is for Cooler); hilarity ensued.
The bus is owned by two pals Justin and Kevin who were both pretty cool dudes. Customer service before the ride was stellar, and both guys were on the ride with us. Even though we bailed early, I emailed Justin to retrieve my cooler and arrangements were quickly made. Nice!
The bus holds 38 max, so I’m definitely gonna gather some peeps and ride again! You can rent out the bus for your own event, but it looks like they have fun events ongoing you can see on their facebook page. (They also post pics after the event. Luckily I know how to untag!)
