History

Established in 2002.

Sisters, Coral and Bekka, opened SoLa to offer unique beautiful Austin style when so little could be found. The sisters have been in the jewelry scene since 1992, traveling extensively to service wholesale and specialty clientele the world over. Always returning to Austin, it became apparent shopping for outfits that look good and work with the ever challenging weather was harder than it needed to be. Hence, SoLa was created to take inspiration from New York, LA, Paris, Milan, the globe and put our own Austin signature on it. SoLa style is casual, confident, fun, and flirty — it’s the place to put together an entire outfit or outfit an entire wardrobe. Step into your individual style at SoLa.

I was visiting Austin and found this awesome boutique. Being petite it can be quite hard to find clothes that fit. Here, I was able to find some pants and a top. I also bought shoes and jewelry. The jewelry is super cute! A lot of it is designed by local artists. The prices were fair and the young lady working there was great help. I am hoping to find a similar shop close to my home.

I recently found this store when I was looking for an outfit for thanksgiving. I went there in a rush and end up only buying a pair of boots! My mother in law love them so I went back with her and sister in law to show the store.
They both love Sola! Everything is great about this boutique. They have parking spots so you don’t have to worry about parking. When you get there you will be in love with the French bulldog they have! She is so cute and quite. The whole store is full with beautiful collection for all the ages and types.
We expend hours trying things on and left really happy with our new clothes, shoes and accessories. Also, the price is not bad at all and the staff is very sweet.

Can I just say that the two lovely ladies I met today were so welcoming! I was immediately greeted with sincerity and enthusiasm. They really went above and beyond to make my first experience so wonderful!!! They listened to me and recommended some GREAT pieces. I WILL be back and I can’t wait! I feel fun, flirty and confidant!

So much love for SoLa. They have the cutest, on trend clothing. They even have pretty great accessories. Even better, they have the best stylists working there. They are all so sweet and helpful. I’ve never had such an honest sales associate, someone who is actually willing to tell you «That’s not working, but try this on.» Everything there is already reasonably priced, and the sales are great too. Thanks SoLa!

The ladies of SoLa have been helping me look like a fashionista for a decade now! They are the first place I go when I need an outfit (or 5). It’s like playing dress up! So many boutiques can feel a bit snobby… These girls are the absolute opposite! They have great sense of humor to go with their great sense of style! The clothes are amazing and you can’t get them anywhere else. I constantly get complements on what I’m wearing from strangers. They have a great sitting area so that when you are just having one of those days… You can come in sit down, chat, shop, dress, play with the dog, and leave feeling fabulous! If I could give 10 stars I would but they only gave me 5

My styling appointment with Coral was incredible. She brings out your willingness to try on outfits you might shy away from otherwise. Her keen eye is really great at picking outfits that fit your shape and style. Can’t wait to wear my new outfits and hear the complements I get. I’ll be sure and tell everyone to shop at SoLa and try out the SoLanistas!

We LOVE this store. The lady who was working, sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she had short blonde hair and glasses I believe was VERY helpful and helped my mom and I the whole time we were in the store, as well as all the other customers. There is a cute little bulldog wondering around which I just think is sweet. I love all the dresses here and would buy them all if my bank account allowed it. I did end up buying a pair of heels only because the women working was nice enough to grab my size to try on with dresses and I fell in love so smart call for her! The only reason I’d have to give 4 stars instead of 5 is because after I got home, just out of curiosity, I looked up one of the dresses I had bought and was able to find it online for about $ 25 less than what I paid. But over all, I love this place and they have a great sale room. We’ll be back again and again.

I had a pleasant experience at SoLa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Coral knew what I was looking for better than I did when I came in asking about jeans. I left with two perfectly fitting pairs for $ 65 each.
I also appreciated that the staff were welcoming both to myself and to my boyfriend. We are an interracial couple with an age gap, so we take notice when we are treated well.
The one minor complaint that I do have is that after getting home, I noticed that there is a spot on one of my new pant legs that looks like it was caught on something. Nobody likes blemishes on new clothes! Other than that, the visit was perfect.

I recently came to SoLa looking for some major wardrobe help. I had several premiers and parties to attend for SxSw and needed to be on point. I signed up for their free personal stylist service and was not disappointed! Coral was so lovely and helpful, she quickly ascertained what my style and comfort level is and it was all easy breezy after that! On top of having a great selection of clothing, shoes, jewelry and assorted accessories, they are very reasonably priced. This was my first time at Sola and will certainly not be my last!

This was a wonderful shopping experience. Sarah was so helpful. She has a great sense of style and helped me pull together a great look, as well as getting me into two pairs of shoes that will be very versatile this spring and summer. Her knowledge of the nuances of the brands, e.g. which brands seem to stretch, etc. was invaluable!
I’d consider the prices on par with Express and the like, only you won’t see your outfit every time you turn around bc this is a boutique and they carry fewer pieces of each design.
The invitation to bring in your own items and they’ll help pair them with other pieces to stretch your wardrobe is a real plus. I felt very well taken care of.

Stumbled into SoLa today for the first time — I was heading towards S. Congress on a mission for cute show outfits (I’m a fashion-​challenged performer) and something about the window display beckoned to me. Sara (h?) was really enthusiastic and patient and helped me put together two fully styled, super cute outfits that I’m going to be wearing all the damn time from now on. I’ll definitely be back next time my wardrobe needs a refresh. Oh, and I scratched the S. Congress stop, no need anymore :-)

If I’m only rating the customer service & how cute the boutique is = 5 stars but as far as their accessories, it’s 2 stars!
Took me awhile to find the perfect necklace. Found it, it was nice, it’s almost $ 40 and after one use, the gold is tarnishing (Bought it less than a month ago!) What a waste of $ 40 bucks! No I didn’t sweat in it, I own a lot of accessories from Charming Charlie that were in the $ 15 – 20 range & they are all stored and kept nicely in my walk-​in closet, and they lasted longer than this necklace. Very cheap material, probably from chinese wholesale that they bought for $ 3 then they sell it for $ 40 — very overpriced. Not a fan. That was my first time & unfortunately my last time. I’ll stick with Charming Charlie.

The ladies at SoLa are wonderful. They suggest items that they know will look good on me and push me to try new things. Coral, Jackie and Danni? I believe her name is, have been right on with items and outfit suggestions. They have unique items, that I don’t see everywhere in Austin and are always changing things up. Affordable clothes and shoes and cute accessories. I get so many compliments whenever I wear my SoLa stuff.
Follow them on Facebook, because they are always posting contests for free tickets to concerts and gigs and have fantastic sales.
Oh and Venus, the shop dog is adorable.

SoLa is a hidden gem that I had driven by a couple times on my way downtown. I wasn’t quite sure about the feel of the place by the outside but figured it might be a little out of my price range. Boy was I wrong! They have some really great things that are really affordable.
They also offer personal shopping advice for free. You can bring in an item of your choice from your closet that you have a tough time wearing because you’re not sure how to match it and they will use their style skills to help you out. The woman who helped me was super nice and helpful for me with matching things that I was planning to buy. I can’t wait to head back in with a piece of clothing I need help with!
They also have a really wide variety of Toms and an extremely extensive jewelry section (like 1⁄3 of the store!). All in all I can’t wait to go shopping there again!

I was lured into the store by the 75% off sign out front. No one loves a good sale more then me. First impression was that they have a pretty good size selection of jewelry. Upon a closer look though it appears that it is jewelry I see on eBay all the time selling for no more then $ 2 or $ 3. This store is charging $ 15-​$ 20. The clothes are nice but a little to pricy and uppity for me. They have a great selection of shoes, but just too rich for my blood. Not to deter anyone from coming here and looking for themselves. I am super frugal and i think $ 35 is too much for a pair if shoes. I will not be returning.

My new favorite place to shop in Austin.
I really like this little boutique of South Lamar. They have a large selection of tops, shorts, tights, jewelry and dresses. I think their items have a lot of style and the prices were something I could stomach (the dresses I bought were $ 68 and $ 76). They also had a lot of items on sale i the $ 20 range.
They also have a GREAT selection of Toms.

Whenever I need to shop– this is the place I go!
The owner, Coral, is so sweet and cooll. The other girls working always start you a fitting room right away, bring you shoes to match your outfit, and they are so helpful when you need advice on how something looks.
The clothes are great! Some are a little too trendy for me, but mostly they carry things that fit that perfect Austin vibe.
If you sign up on their email list you get great deals on sales, new arrivals, and even cash back!
I always take my friends here, and they are never disappointed. This is and will be my go-​to boutique as long as I live in south Austin.
