I went in here yesterday because I need a simple twin metal bed frame. I had just gone to the mattress store near by to price them new. I thought, hmmm, it must be cheaper to get it used. I headed over to Second Hand Store and was greeted and told to look around. I told the guy I just needed a twin frame and he said he had plenty of those! He led me to the back where sure enough, he had a couple leaning against the wall in between a bunch of furniture. I told him that’s exactly what I needed and asked him how much he would charge. He told me $ 35. Well the mattress store was going to sell me a new one for $ 30, so I told him that and he told me that I should probably go back to the mattress store and buy it new. I asked if that was the lowest he could go and he said he was willing to go down to $ 30, but again, that I should go back to the mattress store. I turned around to walk out and he said«thanks for coming in, come back again». Hmph, no thanks.

When you walk into Second Hand furniture, a lovely fellow(who was making himself an avocado sandwich when I walked in) informs you«everything’s scattered, no departments, this is a junk store». Scattered yes, but junk? I’d have to disagree, because this place is full of hidden treasures! I needed a bedside table, and I only had to make one meandering round of the store before I found just what I was looking for. I showed my find to the aforementioned lovely fellow, who took one look at the price tag, which said $ 35, and said, «How about $ 25?» No arguing there! The store is full of funky furniture new and old, painted and unfinished, scattered around in no particular order, just waiting for you to come find them. Will you heed the call of your new dresser/desk/chair/table/funky model ship??? You know you want to!

Great resale shop with the occasional great find. Johnny is very helpful and willing to negotiate. Both times that I visited the store, I found the perfect solution for what I need.
