This is a delivery only boxed lunch catering business that specializes in a traditional Lobster Roll. We ask for 24 hours in advance ordering. Please note, we currently do not have a physical location.

We delivery a delicious boxed lunch during the week to businesses in Austin and the surrounding areas. The boxed lunch consists of a Maine lobster roll, Cape Cod potato chips, a home made whoopie pie and chilled bottled water. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available. History

Established in 2012.

Pamela grew up in a small town on the Southeastern Coast of Massachusetts in a family of fishermen, sea captains, ship builders and lighthouse keepers from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. In fact, her great-​great-​grandfather was known for his clambakes and sailing parties in Boothbay Harbor, starting a family tradition that lasted for generations.

Growing up, Pamela worked in her father’s fish markets, enjoyed her family’s block-​party clambakes and spent many afternoons fishing off of Humarock Beach. Pamela Jane’s New England Lobster Rolls

Before launching Pamela Jane’s New England Lobster Rolls, Pam worked as an acoustical consultant in Austin, Texas. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Berklee College of Music and holds two master’s degrees: an M.A. in Architecture from KU and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business.

Just like back East. Or better.
Writing this review, I am reminded that I want another Pamela Jane’s Lobster Roll ASAP. I lived for several years in CT, RI, MA and spent every Summer since I turned 3 on the Maine seashore. I have had lobster rolls in a few dozen places, some within sight of the lobster boat. I love lobster, and I have suffered through some mediocre rolls.
THIS is the real deal. This is a trip back East, a day by the shore, a salt air dining experience on a roll. Delicious, succulent chunks of lobster, perfectly spiced and nestled between crisp greens on the proper buttered roll, boxed up with a Whoopie Pie and some Cape Cod Potato Chips, it made the perfect boxed lunch. I shared a little bit with a friend and immediately regretted my generosity. I wanted it all.
If you are craving a taste of Maine, try this lobster roll. Nice folks, great food, great value. I want one again soon.
[Oh. And when I review a Lobster Roll purveyor, I tend to focus on their primary product, the Lobster Roll. Delightful though the sides are, and no matter how special a soda may be, reviewing the soda flavor or dessert variety is like reviewing the carpet in a dentist office. Interesting only to you. GREAT lobster rolls. Served with other pretty tasty stuff.]

Perfect for our New Year’s Eve dinner.
No traffic, no parking problems, good food, reasonable prices, with friends and the coziness of home.
We ordered 6 boxes a few days before via email for a 7:30pm delivery. Delivery was about 10−15mins late, not too bad b/​c it was free delivery.
Lobster rolls were absolutely delicious! Freshly buttered & toasted bread.
Bread was lined with baby spinach, and lots of tender lobster stuffed in between!
Extra garlic butter was provided for each box. Use it!
Best part? It was big enough for the guys in our group to be completely full :)
Whoopie pie was okay– peanut butter chocolate flavor… Aka i ate mine but I didn’t love it enough to steal my husband’s.
Another plus: high quality lemon towels for easy cleanup! No oily fingerprints on your faucet handles :)
$ 18 gets you a lobster roll, whoopie pie, bottle of water, bag of chips, plastic utensils, garlic butter, lemony towel — all in a cute reusable red cardboard box!
Extra rolls for $ 14, extra whoopie pies for $ 1

Food was good. The food stand @ the Trl of Lights was dumb. No line and it was hap-​hazard who got their orders done first. They had one small grill. Come on — get with it! One person doing the grilling of the buns and stuffing with lobster… what!!! If you are a business, get some order, have a line, a person just taking money, and 2 people cooking, etc. We wasted time just standing there watching the stupidity of it all. Just in it for the $$ this business is for this event.

This is based on Pamela Jane’s booth at the Zilker Trail of Lights, and on a small snack, to boot. Her booth advertised Whoopie Pies. Having been to New England many times, I was thrilled that this New England-​theme vendor would bring such amazing chocolate-​and-​marshmallow-​fluffed delicacies to share with us.
We took our leave of the factory farm experience of the crowded trail of lights and ordered the whoopie pie. I also saw a bottle of Maine Root Pumpkin Pie flavored soda, so I asked the lady taking my order how she would describe the pumpkin pie flavor — was it an earthy essence of pumpkin or a full-​on sugared pumpkin pie kind of thing? She said she hadn’t tried it yet, and turned to the woman next to her, who I guess was Pamela Jane as she was the only person there wearing a chef jacket, and rephrased my question to her as, «What does the pumpkin pie soda taste like?» She responded, «It tastes *exactly* like pumpkin pie.» Could have been my imagination, but it came across sort of snarky to me. Because we needed a beverage and I was curious, I bought the soda, too.
Imagine my surprise when I sat down to unwrap my paper-​covered whoopie pie when I saw two banana bread cookies with a lump of chocolate frosting inside! Not a whoopie pie at all! And when my pumpkin pie soda tasted *nothing* like pumpkin pie!
Lesson learned. Should have stuck with the churro and hot chocolate at the trailer across the way.

the box lunch is fantastic and can be made dairy free. the lobster is plentiful and cooked perfectly.
the whoopie pie is delicious and rich enough that i was able to snack on it the rest of the day!

Fantastic lobster rolls, packed with sweet meat, were delivered to our door with a smile. What’s not to like? Great value given the quality/​quantity, too: Perla’s lobster roll will cost you $ 28, while Pamela Jane gives you a superior roll with a delicious Whoopie Pie, chips, and bottled water included and delivered for $ 18. Can’t wait until next time…

Just had the box lunch the other day … Awe-​mazing. We’re talking a full lobster’s worth of meat with butter. I had the gluten-​free bun unknowingly (I didn’t order, just enjoying the goods!), and it was sooooo delicious, I didn’t even realize it was gluten-​free!
I need to have the lobster roll again because I kinda wolfed it down — couldn’t stop myself. Need to savor it next time — it’s that decadent. The whoopee pie was a perfect ending to the meal. It’s like this dense, chocolate cake sandwich with peanut butter in the middle. Seriously, my mouth is watering writing this review. The box lunch is just that good. Great idea for corporate lunches or ANY lunch or meal, really.

I freaking love these lobster rolls… I’ve had a lobster roll in Boston once, and remembered it being good, AND these are as good or better. I really freaking love them. PLUS, she makes Gluten-​free upon request, which is awesome for us allergetics!

DE-​licious lobster rolls! I was lucky enough to be at a bookclub meeting where Pam was making her awesome lobster rolls. Toasty rolls and fresh buttery lobster and herbs, what more do you need? Looking forward to trying the Whoopee Pies soon!
