I have had some pretty crappy experiences at McDonald’s, but this one tops it. First, the menu did not have prices for smoothies, so I asked the order taker, and she said«it’s on the menu», I told her it was not and gave her the size I was interested in and ask again. She replied in a very upset tone, and asked was I ready to order yet? *** At this point I should have drove off*** I get to the window, I gave her the money and didn’t even get a thank you. So, I proceed. I personally love McDonald’s fries when they are hot, and go just for the fries. I check my food before driving off, especially, at this location, and my fries where not even warm. REALLY??? The guy that was giving me the food initially was very nice, but when I asked for some hot fries, and was asked to pull up. I told them no, I was pressed for time and needed to be at work. The manager in the back ground was stating she didn’t have time for this«SHIT». If they would just stop and try the fries, this could be avoided, no one like cold food. The manager came and yelled at me about pulling up by this care that was waiting before me(this car was there when I was paying for my food, and there were 3 other cars in front of me). I told her I noticed that car was there and since they were waiting on fried, the fries should be complete and she said something to her order taker and she came up and went crazy on me. She yelled at me I didn’t know her and I told her in my calm voice, «Ma’am you do not know me». I asked for the store number and 800 number of course I was giving the wrong information. And the manager and the order taker continued yelling and I asked for my money back. In the midst of her refunding me my money, the fry cooker comes in an put his 2 cents in. At this point I just wanted my money. He kept saying he cooked the fries, like that was supposed to change my mind. I told him they were not hot and I am done with this and I would be contacting McDonalds. Total BS.

McDonald’s itself is great, of course. Normally I’d not bother to review a chain fast food joint. However, there is one staff member at this location on Mopac and Balcones named Hui, she is the only Asian there and always runs the front register. She makes my visits here so terrible, akward and uncomfortable! I work nearby and would come more often if it not for her working here. She does NOT listen fully to your order and punches the wrong thing in, then tells the customer they are wrong when the order comes out incorrectly. I complained finally today. She refused to help me and told one of her co workers to do it. The young lady who helped me said you’re not the only customer to complain and that she is super difficult to work with also. Good lord. Fire this lady please! Or move her to custodial only. Something other than customer service!

Posted hours are until 11pm but arrived at 10:35pm and locked up already. They also don’t answer the phone & right now someone is upset at them in the drive-thru.

Very unimpressed with this location and the way it is managed. I think the unwelcoming smell that flows through your nostrils as you enter the door is enough to turn you away. I do not eat McDonald’s but I used to like to bring the boys I nanny here for an ice cream cone after school. Well, once. This happened once. We tried to stop in today for an ice cream cone but«they were out of ice cream» like what? What? What? I honestly don’t understand. That is poor management. No other excuse. The place smells terrible. Like dirty rags and dirty mops. It’s just unpleasant. No one wants to smell that while they are eating. If the«floor» is this unpleasant I cannot even imagine what it’s like where people can’t see. Pass. I will pass. I’ll find somewhere cleaner to take the boys after school. Somewhere that is proud and has employees that do their jobs right.

Went through the drive through. They were quick and completed my order without issue. The only difference between each McDonald’s is the people running it.

I love McDonalds but gee what is the problem with this location? My granddaughters look forward to getting Happy Meals but the rudeness here is unacceptable! A crew member ran into one of my girls and knocked her over onto the floor. One would think the employee would stop, apologize and make sure the little one was not hurt. Well that’s not what happened. Instead of being thoughtful and polite, the crew member ran away and hid in the manager’s office. I went to the counter to ask for something to wrap ice in because my granddaughter’s lip was busted open. I was ignored until I yelled at the crew to «get me the manager». She did not appear for several minutes then with a flat affect and no apology, got me a towel. I asked her to have someone in higher management contact me. Two weeks later and no response from anyone, I called the regional headquarters to get the operator’s phone number. After describing what happened, he said«I think this calls for a free Happy Meal»…Really? Well, although this incident happened awhile back, the service and food quality remain hit and miss. The employee attitude is one of unhappiness. Because McDonald’s is beloved, we returned after a few months. Still no change. However, there is brand new leadership at McDonald’s now, even at the regional level. I feel confident that changes will occur and a difference made in operations at this location. When that happens, I will update my review. My family remains loyal fans of McDonalds but this location needs a major overhaul!

Coke Zero is advertised outside the door but they only have two diet cokes on the soda fountain. My side salad didn’t have tomatoes. When I said something they said oh then gave me another salad wishing had two tiny tomatoes and brown lettuce. We had to ask for utensils for a salad. When we told them the ketchup dispenser was out the woman said, «Yeah. It don’t work.» Cheese on the fish filet was less than half a piece almost burned into the bun? It resembled plastic. I understand it’s McDonald’s and to be honest I usually love it but this location takes not giving a care to a whole new level.

The last several times I’ve eaten at this location I’ve had to literally drive away without food because of the long drive-thru times. It’s really sad that they can’t get their labor and prep problem under control. They have been slow every time I’ve ever tried to go there. Perhaps they could model themselves after 183& Braker.

Very gross location to eat at. Management makes the cooks warm up the old food instead of putting it in the trash. They can’t hardly ever get your order right and when you correct them they act like its your fault.

Oh boy. Another winner of the«THISSUCKS» lotto. The chick who took my order was very friendly, and fast, and pretty. She lulled me into thinking that my experience would be wonderful. Au contraire! The fries — those delicious things everybody goes to McDonalds for in the first place — were old, cold and, strangely, undercooked. They tasted like raw potato. Gross! I also ordered McNuggets. These McNuggets were AWFUL and cold. To top it all off, they didn’t give me ANY sauce(despite being charged extra for additional sauce packets). Think about this for a second… I couldn’t drown my old, disgusting McNuggets in the usual, liquid sugar-fat to alleviate the sadness of having horrifyingly-gross«chicken» product. Avoid like the plague!

First thang first if you are a manager for ant type of restaurant fast food or not you should not handle any type of food when you are sick blow your nose and not even washing your hand. In this day and age why cant I get a salad instead of nasty fries? Guess one of many reasons why I dont go to McDonalds

I’ve never received an order from a McDonald’s as jacked-up as from this location… Well, I did receive a Big Mac from a Tyler, TX location a couple weeks ago that had no hamburger patty whatsoever. But tonight’s half-hearted attempt by this Austin, TX location’s dream team was truly special. The Big Mac from the McDonald’s Mo-Pac location was horrible. It was almost just stale buns and patties. I requested extra sauce & extra pickles and neither of which made their way to the burger by the worthless idiot(s) working the line. The McNuggets were so over-done they weren’t even edible. I called the location and was hung-up on. It wasn’t as though they were in the middle of being slammed. I’m incredibly understanding and realize you get what you pay for. However, I was the only vehicle in the drive through and no one was at the counter. Bottom line, these folks have zero pride in what they do and will more than likely be minimum wage earners for eternity.

There is a man who takes the orders in the morning around 8:45 a.m. who cannot listen to what is said. If you order a cup of black coffee, he asks if you want cream & sugar in it. Black coffee means nothing in the cup except black coffee. He talks over you, can’t listen, interrupts, tries to wrap the customer around his style getting them to listen while he recites all the possibilities associated with what you started to say before he interrupted then rather asking you to check off which of his spoken menu you want. You have to accommodate what appears to be a learning disorder. He simply cannot listen & then repeat what you said. Instead, he turns it through his recitation of the menu & asks you which of the things he said you want. It’s very frustrating until you give in to the craziness, then you get your black coffee.

This mcd is ripping you off. They are always 2 to 3 dollars more than every other mcd in town. There staff is arrogant. If you want to pay more for the same stuff go here. They are more expensive than a airport mcd. You have a choice don’t make it this mcd.

I live right around the corner from this one and I end up there multiple times in a week for mainly just iced coffee or iced teas. I should probably be voicing this complaint on their hotline, since it happens so frequently, but I’ll start here on Unilocal. My order rarely varies from a large iced caramel mocha and a large unsweet iced tea. How hard is that to mess up(and I enunciate really well)? They often times screw up my order and then treat me like it’s my fault when I tell them their mistake. Hot coffee, sweet tea, small instead of large… somehow they will screw it up. They will charge you more if the mistake is in your favor, but will certainly not bother to give you any money back when the mistake is in their favor. They practically eye roll you too! I hate them! I only go here now when I am running late and don’t have time to drive out of my way for my caffeine fix. I just cross my fingers that they can get it right this time.

I went through the drive thru & the girl at the window took my money. When I didn’t drive forward to the next window, she rudely asked if I needed something. I confirmed my total with her & then reminded her of how much I paid. She looked at me as. If in shock & said, «Oh, do you want your change?». Ahhhhh, yah! Then, as you might have guessed, they gave me the wrong salad. By the time I picked out everything from the salad that I can’t eat, there wasn’t much left & the salad was warm while the chicken was cold. I am calling their 800 number to give my feedback, but I won’t go back there!
