Great stuff here. I come in just about every weekend to get my fill of kolaches. They have all types, my fave is pan sausage. Well this weekend my mom is in town visiting. And I brought her over to Lone Star. She what she thought. She actually liked it. And that’s no easy task! So great job guys! Good food. Nice people

Food is always good and is in high demand. They have a wide selection and any one can find something good here. You gotta get there early if you want my favorite item.

Stopped by, craving a really good Sausage & Cheese Kolache. I’d have to say theirs is 2 out of 5. Part of my wish I would’ve just gone to Shipley down the street. Also got their Strawberry & Cream Cheese Kolache, & I quickly decided that was a waste of calories. Super sweet & not very food texture. Won’t be coming back.

The problem with this is that I live right down the street and can walk to this shop… This is a problem because the kolaches are so freaking delicious. I never even used to like kolaches. Each one is only about $ 1 maybe a little more. The bread they use is so tasty with just a hint of sweetness much like a Hawaiian roll. Since discovering it, I usually stop by and grab breakfast here at least once a week. But I’ve only tried the fruit kolaches, sausage and cheese, and cinnamon twists. All wonderful. I’d definitely recommend!

I have been coming here for the past year, and I love the food. Best sausage kolache in the area: the bread has flavor, hint of sweetness, the piece of sausage is a good size. Not a lil smoky drowning in bread. The fruit kolaches taste too artificial for me, but I can’t resist the cream cheese ones. Today was the first time I tried the coffee, and it was terrible. It tastes/smells like it’s made with bad water. And it’s weak! I do not drink strong coffee, always adding water to starbucks or coffee at the office. The associate smelled it and said that’s how the coffee normally is. I’m only writing this review for the small chance that they read this and change something.

Pretty tasty kolaches, though I came relatively late in the day(1pm) and so they didn’t taste super fresh. I’ve had tastier at other places in Austin. That being said, they have by far the best variety of kolaches that I’ve seen in town. They have a few dozen different kinds of kolaches with a huge variety of ingredients, which I always like!

I am tired of spending $ 13 — $ 15 per order for cold kolaches and poor customer service. I have just had it with your employee’s lack to care about his job. He is quite rude. Neither he or the other lady greet you upon entering and they don’t try to help you choose Kolaches or explain anything. The lady never asks if we want them heated up so we had stopped going because who wants cold Kolaches? One time we came in just for the fruit kolaches and the guy actually asked us if we wanted them warmed up; I was momentarily shocked but once over it, I ordered other items. Today the soda fountain’s spill tray is filled to the top and slightly starting to spill onto the floor but you can bet your employee could care less. If he knew he didn’t warn my 8&10 year olds as they went to go fill up their drinks. Why should I continue to give your company my business? .

the kolaches are good maybe 4⁄5 but the staff seems like you’re bothering them when you arrive. today was my first time going inside this location and the lady behind the counter blatantly asked twice«what do you want» .we had a six year old child with us whom had never been here and we were making a decision,(which I kindly stated«this is our first time, how exiting!») but by the time I looked up she had completely left to the back and another agitated worker then completed our order… kindof offputting. we got sausage/jalapeño/cheese, a ranchero?, and cream cheese. the food was not bad, but service needs work if they want people to come back.

They have good expresso and yummo kolaches. The people who work there are«ok» on the couple occasions I have been to this location. They aren’t the friendliest bunch, but I can’t say I would be either if I had to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to serve coffee and pastries. Either way, their food and coffee are good and that’s the only reason I go there.

Yum!!! 2 bites into his kolache my 6 yr old son raved that this was«ah-maze-ing» and I would agree. If you like slightly sweet bread– think Hawaiian rolls– then you’ll really be in heaven. Lots of flavors to choose from and definitely fresh. We just happened upon this place but we’ll be back no doubt!

This place is on the way to my job so I usually stop by and grab a few kolaches for breakfast. The lady that is usually there(short lady with glasses) was not very friendly the past few times she’s helped me. Today they were having technical difficulties with their iPad not reading credit cards, so I asked her to try on the other iPad. She refused, implying that my card was declined. The man(who I’m assuming is the owner) took my card and tried it on the other iPad and it went through. When I checked my transactions today, I saw that she had charged me different amounts on each of my visits although my order remains the same. $ 1.79 more then what the man charged me. I most definitely won’t be coming back.

Who doesn’t like kolaches? This place has every flavor you could imagine from a variety of fruit-filled ones(my favorite) to ones filled with meat. The location is convenient and the staff is friendly and gets orders filled correctly. Not really much to complain about here.

This place has great meat and fruit kolaches. They make everything fresh and they have a ton of different kolaches to choose from. They also have this type of kolache called a «chubby” – which is a kolache that is stuffed with a variety of ingredients. The«ranchero chubby» was my fav, because it had egg, bacon, potato and jalapeño, all stuffed into one!

This place recently opened on W. Anderson Lane, close to the intersection between Anderson and Lamar. It’s got a large selection of sweet and savory Czech style kolaches, and coffee. The kolaches I tried were good, and my iced mocha, though nothing special, was good too. Their menu’s broken down into egg based, meat based, chicken based, and sweet/fruit based. They have a selection of savory(think ham and egg) croissants. Great for breakfast/brunch/lunch, and a nice change up from breakfast tacos. I’ll be back!
