The law firm of Hissey Kientz, LLP was founded by attorneys Michael Hissey and Robert Kientz with the goal of providing its clients with outstanding legal representation and resources to ensure that their legal rights are protected.

Meet the Business Owner

Mike Hissey and Rob Kientz E.

Business Owner

Mike Hissey was born in Washington D.C. and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1994. Mike received his law degree from UT Austin in 1997 and began working for the Dallas firm of Silber Pearlman, helping those injured by asbestos. In 1999, Mike left the firm to start a practice with Rob Kientz. Mike still finds time to help his favorite charities, including the Easter Seals and the March of Dimes.

Rob Kientz was born Springfield, Missouri, and he grew up in Topeka, Kansas. Rob attended the University of Texas law school. Rob worked as a design engineer and marketing analyst for Vista Chemical in Houston. After working for a construction litigation boutique firm, Rob became a founding law partner with Mike Hissey working on various mass tort cases. Rob participates in his own and the firm’s charitable efforts including the National Mesothelioma Foundation, Planet Cancer Foundation and other charities.
