I take both my children to see Dr. Cox and Dr. Schultz at the four points location. Love the staff. Doctors are really caring and easy to talk to. Highly recommend the allergist for care of asthma and seasonal allergies.

For allergy shots this is a great location. FAST shots, and EASY slide-card check-in. Tons to do while you wait just 20 minutes. Make coffee, watch TV, chat with other folks, read one of their 10000000s of magazines. Makes you feel a little spoiled: As you will also STOP suffering from Austin allergies. Worth the trouble…

I’m super surprised by the negative reviews. My 3 yr old started having horrendous allergies, asthma and eczema. We went to an allergist at one of the ARC offices and it was disastrous. I did my research and found my way to Dr. Schultz at GAAI. The building is completely ho-hum and the office is tiny, old and FREEZING, but I’d rather have a doctor whose front office is a little run down and have them pay their staff and doctors well. Dr. Schultz(and his cutie pie scribe) listened to my every question and concern, talked me through all possible scenarios and diagnosis, purpose and dangers of medications, and assured me I was NOT a neurotic mother, just a concerned one who wants my child to have a better quality of life. I got good juju’s from Dr. Schultz, not the screaming red flags I did from the past doctor we went to. I also appreciated that he took the time to teach his protégé and quiz him; he’ll be a better doctor someday for it. I am happy to say I may have found my family allergist for the duration of my stay in Austin, however long that may be. Thank you Dr. S for listening to me and not trying to prove you’re a know it all like some docs in the past! UPDATE: After only one full day of the new treatment regimen Dr. Schultz put her on, my little one has gone an entire day and night without coughing. This is HUGE, since she has had this cough for almost three months. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Dr I had was Dr. Smith. He was not very personable, blamed me for all of my allergy problems like I was making them worse, then wouldn’t let me leave the office. I had several appointments scheduled that day and I was late because a simple return visit to discuss blood test results. Waiting time was ridiculous!

After two and a half years, I gave up. The doctors mean well, but are impossible to get a hold of, have incredibly long wait times, and billing is a disaster. Plus, when you leave, they charge you 50 $ to get a copy of your medical file(it cost us 200 $ to get everything for our family). I really, really, really wanted to like this place, but we ended up switching after being advised to do so by more than one other doctor. We had more than one emergency during our time here, one in particular where our child was admitted to the hospital, and during the entire stay we were unable to get a hold of the doctor or the records the hospital was requesting until a week following our release. Their hours are also crazy. There were multiple times I showed up during their office hours, only to find out they had closed for unknown, unannounced reasons.
