Greene Auto made me feel at home from the start. On my first visit they let me know that my business mattered to them and when I left I felt like I’d made new friends. I got my vehicle in and out on a day where they clearly had a lot going on. I’ve found my home for all my automotive needs.

I’ve had bad experiences with oil change places around town The guys at go Green auto mmotive are always so friendly and helpful. Most places will try and swindle you out of money, but these guys just informed me that I needed to look into changing my spark plugs as well as my air filter but didn’t force it. They knew that I have my own business and it’s hard for me to afford everything. definitely giving these guys a five star rating! And making my brother go back to get his oil changed next month and I am definitely going back.

This group is great! I’ve dealt personally with Eddie, Kim, Jason and Dan. It is hard to find a good mechanic and one that doesn’t over charge. Go Greene is a group of people who have worked with me time and time again. They helped to prioritize what needed to be fixed on my car and then helped me determine what I could hold off on as I am buying a new car and do not want to pour money into fixing my current car. Rather than try to convince me that everything needed fixing, which would have been more profitable to them immediately; they understood my needs and have been very honest with me. Being fairly new to Austin (& a girl who doesn’t know much about cars — nor someone who has experienced any car issues) I knew when my check engine light came on & wouldn’t go away that I needed to do something about it but I wasn’t sure who to trust. I looked up reviews on a lot of places in ATX and Go Greene was one of the top — and I can say they truly lived up to their high reviews left by other customers. The staff was friendly, helpful, honest and quick! They even spoke to my dad over the phone to go over what repairs would be needed & gave me a ride to and from work while my car was being worked on. I will definitely use them again!

Go Greene is proof that cars suck sometimes, but your mechanic doesn’t have to! It’s hard to love someone that you only see when things are falling apart (like computer technicians and mechanics) so you know that when you’ve found a good one, it’s important to hang on tight. Go Greene is the best mechanic I’ve found in Austin, hands down.
I recently upgraded from an old VW to a fancy newer Audi and began frequenting another mechanic in town that had a history with my new car. I missed Jason and Kim, who are both responsive and clever and kind. I quickly realized how much I had been spoiled. I was used to having my car back when promised or earlier, and to receive phone calls updating me on my car’s progress. I also expected free wi-​fi and rides to work if I had to leave my car and customers who were fun to chat with while we waited. Now I’m back, and it’s everything I’ve remembered and more. A problem that the last mechanic couldn’t reproduce or solve was fixed at Go Greene in two days at a very reasonable price.
Thanks for giving me a shop that I look forward to seeing when my little car needs some love!

I came to Go Greene in January, after being turned away by two other shops whose schedules were too packed to help me. I was about to embark on a 2,000+ mile roadtrip for work, and wanted to make sure my car was ready for the challenge. I knew of a couple of problems that NEEDED to be repaired, but wanted a second set of eyes to go over my car in case I had missed anything.
While I walked out getting more repaired than I had expected, the price I paid for the parts and labor on the work I anticipated was more than $ 150 less than I had been quoted elsewhere, and the parts would be available the same day (versus having to order and wait on shipping).
My car made it 2,625 miles in 6 days, hauling as much camping gear as we could fit, on– and off-​road in the desert, and we didn’t have a single problem. Best trip of my life thus far!
I’ve since brought my car back to Go Greene for routine service and have gotten the same stellar treatment.
My only complaint (though it’s not worth a star) is that the lounge, though comfy and stocked with hot coffee, gets cold really quickly. Bring a sweater or a jacket!

Love this place! Short wait and comfy lounge where I was able to work while waiting. Great prices. Will definitely be back. I have a Lexus CT Hybrid that needed routine maintenance, probably saved at least a $ 100 by not going to the dealer.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They were up front about how long it would take based on current work, and the price of service was very reasonable. I definitely plan to return.

Worst auto experience in my life. Went in for an all-​points check-​up before my vacation. I wanted all work done that was needed. 36 hours later, when I picked up the car, all that was done was an oil change. During vacation, my car broke-​down and needed tons of work that wasn’t done at Go Greene. They didn’t even change the corroded spark plugs and broken wires. After vacation, I contacted them and they could have cared less.

One of the services the general public relies on the most is auto mechanic work. It is unfortunately hard to find reliable and trustworthy companies in this industry. At Go Greene, this is not the case, they are as good as it gets! A Professional, friendly, trustworthy and honorable company, the staff here does not disappoint. I recommend anyone to bring your car to them or if up in North Austin or Round Rock one of the other companies affiliated with them. It’s great to have quality auto mechanics close by! Thank you!

Had some issues with the check engine light that took a little longer then we liked but they ultimately fixed it and didn’t charge us after the initial fixes. We’ll be back for routine maintenance now. Thanks Jason for understanding our concern and rectifying the problem.

I came in August and my oil change wasn’t done right. The mechanic used shop parts instead of the stuff I brought him and then my stuff was missing. Told the manager Jason what happened and after they investigated, the mechanic was let go and I was told I’d be given another oil change with the oil I wanted. Today I’m getting that done. On top of this, they’re giving me another oil change kit for free!!! Totally awesome service!

I have about 5 years dealing with Go Greene. I can honestly say that this is the most honest shop that I’ve found for my 1999 Jetta. I’ve had a few issues, but they have always fixed regardless. Let’s see… Transmission, AC, shocks and struts, Tires, alignment, wheel bearings, console ignition, etc…
The front end Mgr, Jason is great.

These guys just keep doing more for me and my loved one. Always explain just what’s going on. Everybody that we’ve sent there is happy for us sending them to see Jason and Lowell! They’ve done a lot of little things to save us money. Instead of just charging for a new part Jason has explained how a rebuilt may work just as well and then shown us the savings. Thanks Go Greene!

Great service. Spoke with Dez about my needs and he got everything taken care of. It’s hard to find reliable auto service sometimes but these guys have it all going on — fast, reasonable price, and great service. Will definitely be back for all my check up needs. We live right around the corner from these guys and twice now when our car batteries have died, they have walked over and jumped our car at our home for free. They won’t let me pay them! It’s so nice and has saved the day. They’ve serviced our car once and been very fair. I love them. Great guys.

I hate cars. I hate driving. Hate, hate, hate. Unfortunately, having a car in Austin is a necessity. And I want to keep my car alive as long as possible. But dealing with all the hassles of owning a vehicle is… annoying and exhausting.
But you know what I don’t hate? Go Greene Automotive! My car wouldn’t start. Which was annoying and exhausting. I live a few blocks away from Go Greene and in my annoyance and exhaustion (and, let’s be honest, laziness), decided to keep it close to home and give them a try. And for once my laziness turned out to be a good thing. The problem (just a dead battery, phew) was diagnosed and remedied in short order.
That was all well and good, but here is where Go Greene really impressed me. My car, like me, is a transplant from Chicago. It suffered through the nasty Chicago winters and acquired a good bit of rust due to snow melt and salted roads. (Mmm…salted roads.) As a result, I have an exhaust system teetering on the brink of ruin. Go Greene could have told me it needed to be replaced ASAP, probably charged me a fortune, and in my ignorance about all things car, I would have paid for something I don’t fully understand. However, they explained to me that, though there is a simple fix for this, they felt they didn’t have the proper equipment to make the fix without the whole exhaust system falling apart. They offered to transport it to another shop, but I needed the car ASAP and they said I’m still good to go for a bit.
When I went to pick up the car, the nice man behind the counter (I am so bad about getting names) explained to me what would need to be fixed, recommended another shop, wrote down the exact name of the needed part, and even told me what would be a reasonable price. I feel so much better knowing this information, because I can easily see someone telling me I need the exhaust system completely replaced and I would just go along with it because I don’t know any better.
I really appreciate Go Greene’s honesty and their patience with someone who knows nothing about cars. I will definitely be back for oil changes and other maintenance needs.

There arent enough words out there to tell you about the AWESOME that is the Go Greene staff — Jason and all those guys are amazing.
Everytime I walk in the door I am greeted by name. They can tell me that my car will take 20 minutes and I will sit down and attempt to read a magazine and no sooner than I have sat down they tell me my oil change is done. Im really trying to make an effort to be the change I wish to see in the world and there is NO REASON that that needs to stop when it comes to the maintenance of my car. These guys care about their environment and they are very ECO AWARE. Toting themselves an environmentally friendly company, I enjoy keeping it local on both the monetary and the community aspect. Locals employing locals…
Once you get your oil changed, they send you notices when you are about due for the next oil change. Thank the heavens, or I would probably forget… It also comes with a coupon and I cant beat a $ 19.99 oil change from some of the friendliest guys in town. Over time they have gotten to know me… When I complained about my running light not working they checked it out for me while working on my power steering pump and they replaced the bulb for me for no charge.
I recommend this place to everyone I know… I used to have love for another mechanic in town — and then they became too big for their britches… so I took my loyalty elsewhere. They were also nice enough to put out some of my eco friendly business
