Had a flat on the way to take my girl to school and needed to borrow a jack. I could not have done it without a second Jack the wishbone fell down and I could not get the spare on. Thanks man I made it to school miraculously on time !

Phil has been good as gold with me. I have a 65 Chevy C20, which isn’t a hot rod but my daily driver.
I have replaced everything to make it modern. 350 SBC, TH350 transmission. Power steering, power disk brakes. 355 posi. From a 84 Ford F-​350. Also installed Vintage Air AC.
I put a Holley Projection TBI set up on it to replace the Quadrajet to improve mileage and do away with cold starts. And that posed problems that were way over my head.
But Phil waded into it and fixed all the things about the installation that were wrong. He dialed it in and it runs great now!
He didn’t have a problem with fixing other people’s mistakes. He just fixed the problems.
I could tell after talking to him that he knew what he was doing. And he has been extremely fair in what he charges me.
I couldn’t be happier with him or his shop.
Take your shit to Phil! You won’t be sorry. Well, unless you’re one of those people who hate everybody.

Very happy! I brought my ’66 Mustang in with a number of issues. It was one of those scary «I don’t really know what the problems are, whether they’re even worth fixing, and there’s no way for a mechanic to know until he starts pulling things apart, so this could get very expensive» situations. But Phil and his staff were right on the money with their initial estimate (came out to within $ 5 in the end) gave lots of good advice, and REALLY know their stuff! I feel strongly that they did everything necessary and not one thing more. They kept me in the loop, and were patient with questions. I have now found an honest, extremely knowledgeable mechanic and couldn’t be happier!
