Gaia’s is a company based on the concept of harnessing all excess resources constantly floating around Austin to help create aesthetic, abundant landscapes. We make our own compost sourced from local restaurants and from organic material gathered at normal maintenance jobs such as lawn mowing, raking, edging, and tree trimming/removal. This resource has helped turned us into a small nursery as well, incorporating perennials and fruit trees that can last indefinitely. We have grown these varieties time and time again so they are Texas adapted, assuring you their ability to thrive in your garden! We have professional masons, carpenters, construction specialists on the team, we really can do anything! We are even running our trucks on bio-diesel, taking us to a new level of sustainability. This means as a business we have gone beyond even being carbon neutral! For every step we take with our company, we try to implement ideas like this to help Austin grow into a more Sustainable City!

A born and raised Austinite, Ross has six years experience in the permaculture field. From humble beginnings growing up on sixteen acres in Manor, agriculture projects have been a part of everyday life for him. Most of the experience gained by Ross has been from farm work, volunteering, and studying/applying permaculture ethics in areas where drought is a major issue.
