Super quick and amazing service, offered discounts and great bundles! Awesome customer service as well as having the cheapest prices anywhere in Austin! He even fixed my door that’s been bent for 2+ years! Joshua was amazing and I deffffinitely will be suggesting him to everyone as well as getting in touch if I ever need any type of lock help whatsoever! 5+ stars!

Don’t ever use this company, I got locked out of my car and called them and they quoted me at $ 15 for going and up to $ 40 for the labor. The guy charged me $ 126 when he got there. I called the guy that quoted me over the phone and after saying that he was calling the police he hanged up on me. The locksmith guy that was there with me moved his car and parked it behind mine so I couldn’t move, he tried to get the keys to my car! I got desperate because my 4 month old was getting very hot and bottered in the 100 degree day that where having. I had to pay feeling extorted and threatened, not having a clear mind because of the circumstances, now I know I should have called the police. Awful company.

Came quickly and helped me get a new key to unlock my trunk where I had accidentally locked my car keys. Joshua was helpful and polite.

I had called them and they were on the road to help me ASAP. Then my apt maintenance called me and told me they would let me in. When I called them back they were so nice about my cancelling even though it was after 7pm and they were on the road. I will definitely call them next time.

I had an ignition problem with my car so they were unfortunately no help but Joshua was fantastic. He did everything he could for a solid hour and a half in the cold to fix my car since he didn’t fix the problem, I didn’t get charged. He also helped jump start my boyfriend’s car. Great customer service!

Joshua came out today and did a great job. Was very friendly and quick, getting my car unlocked in less than a minute and was the cheapest service I’ve ever used. I would highly recommend using this service!

I think it’s pretty ridiculous that this company charged us $ 240 to open up my fiancé’s car! I completely understand that he charged $ 50 to make a key… but an additional $ 150 for labor is unheard of. I really wished my fiancé wasn’t taken advantage of. PLEASE BEWARE PEOPLE!!!

I lost my car keys and didn’t have a spare. I didn’t know what to do, especially since it was after work hours and most places were closed, but after looking on Unilocal,I found this place. I called Express Car Door Unlocking Service at 8 pm and they came around 9 pm to make me some spare keys for my car. Joshua helped me and he was extremely helpful.
Each new key for my make of car was about $ 130 which is cheaper than getting a spare from the dealership. The dealership quoted me about $ 140 – 200 to make a spare from an existing key. Joshua said that if I had my spare and he duplicated a car key from that, it would only cost about $ 70 which is half the price of the dealership. He also gives you the test key which opens your car door, but doesn’t start the engine for free which is helpful in emergencies like when you lock your key in your car. He also told me they do will open your car for only $ 25 which is a lot cheaper than many other places around Austin.
I was really thankful that he came out so late and helped me for about an hour and a half to make all of my keys. It took so long because my car had to be reprogrammed, but Joshua was very helpful and patient throughout the entire thing. I would highly recommend this company to you!

So incredibly helpful. My car was towed and I had lost my keys. They were helpful over the phone in guiding me to what I needed since everything was locked in my glove box that I could not get to. After an hour of my back and forth frantic calls my roommate recovered my keys so I called back to cancel. He was happy I found my keys and not upset that I wasted his time. I hope there isn’t, but if there is another key lossage fiasco, I know who to call for sure.

they get my one star for the amount of effort and work the 2 technicians put in. it was a big job, replacing /​rekyeing the locks on all the doors in my new house. the technical side of things probably deserves more then the one star, BUT, and that is a really big one. the call center when i called in to place my service request neglected to tell me they charge per hour, so at the end of several hours of work we were left with a hefty $ 1000 bill!!! which we had no other option but paying. when i talked to the dispatcher, the prices he listed where at the same range as some other locksmiths i have spoken with. he just NEGLECTED to mention the hourly work charge for 2 technicians! OH, and did i mention the fact that they showed up 2 hours late without any notice. it’s a good thing we where home when they showed up.

I reached out to Certified Locksmith ATX (listed here as «Express Car Door Unlocking Service») today when my ignition key in my car wouldn’t budge. Joshua came out, worked on the lock to get the car started, moved it to a safe place, and then got the lock fixed. I got a replacement key made as well. Both now work perfectly.
He and his assistant stuck around to make sure the lock and keys performed consistently and reliably. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the quality work they did. The price was reasonable as well — especially for all the work they had to do.
All in all, I’m very satisfied with the service provided and would recommend them to friends without hesitation.

Had a friend lock their keys in the car late one night at our house. After several attempts to get it unlocked, we looked up 24 hour locksmiths on Google. Express had pretty good ratings, and they actually answered the phone on the first try. Guy was at our house in about 20 – 25 minutes, and had the car open in just a few minutes. Nice guy, good job. Seemed a bit expensive, though. I mean, I know that 24 hour lock services are not cheap… but over $ 100 for 60 seconds of work seemed rather steep. Thus, the reason for the 3 star rating. $ 60 – 75 would have been reasonable, but you live and learn.

If you are in a bind, do not hesitate! Go with these guys! But yeah where we ever surprised to learn our new Ford Escape has the ability to lock itself! My mom was in town visiting and got out of the car while it was running and then the car locked itself. I’m a believer in Unilocal reviews and when I saw Express Car Door Unlocking Service I went with them. They definitely deserve their rating! Jamal came out from Round Rock to help us. I couldn’t believe he got there as fast as he did considering I was on riverside. In no time at all, without damaging the car in the least bit, he had our car open. The fee was a little over a hundred. But it was a job well done at midnight of all hours.

I got super bumped out when I realized I left my key in houston and couldn’t unlock my car in Austin! Luckily Joshua came to rescue me and unlocked my door within half an hr! Although I will never make this stupid mistake again, I will definitely keep his contact just in case

Locked my keys in my car and decided to use the first recommended place on Unilocal.The service guy got there in 25 minutes and got me back into my car with no damage to the car. I used the Unilocal coupon that they had. Good deal, I will keep their number on hand. Thanks Joshua!

Not enough good things to say! I locked myself out and I had a lot of errands to run. Called around to compare prices and they are definitely the cheapest and best service you can get. Joshua came within thirty minutes all the way from the other side of Austin, and got me back inside in no time! Fast, friendly and cheapest service in Austin hands down.

I lost my mailbox key about two weeks ago and kept hoping that it would miraculously turn up somewhere. That didn’t happen and I knew that I would be getting some important packages, including a new credit card lol. I got fed up with not being able to access the mail so I decided to try to get a locksmith on a Friday night. Thanks to my great timing, I realized that not a lot of places were open on a Friday night and most places that were open were charging over $ 150 for the service. Joshua did not overcharge, and he was willing to drive out on an icy Friday night to replace my mailbox lock. I would definitely use them again, but hopefully don’t have to!
