Responded to my call quickly. Was out the same day. Did an awesome job. Saved me a ton of money. Beware of the guys who won’t tell you an exact price for key replacement. When they got to my house they wanted $ 300 extra dollars. This guy treats you right!

Lost my key, have to get back home for Christmas. Call at 8 AM, doesn’t arrive until 11. Makes a key that will start the car but won’t open my door. Which is… useless since I have to lock my damn door. Takes an hour and a half to go back and get me a remote since I need to get in my car and then charges $ 260 for a half-​working key and a remote. You’ve got to be joking me. Never come here; you won’t miss out on the exorbitant pricing and slow service.

ACL Locksmith just saved me! This is a fair and honest locksmith. I woke up this morning and immediately realized that my husband had left for the airport and my only set of car keys were inside my bag which was inside my locked car! My heart sank at the thought of having to call a locksmith because I have been scammed by locksmiths in NYC before. I also am on a very tight budget because Christmas is fast approaching so I was extra worried about how this whole scenario was going to unfold. But to my surprise, ACL quoted me a fair price and also got out to me in 30 minutes! My car was open in seconds! I was elated to know that there are still fair and honest professionals out there! I highly recommend this guy! He is a fair and honest business owner! Do yourself a favor and give him a call when in need.

Needed to rekey some locks. Read the reviews and emailed ACL — received a prompt reply. Called today and he showed up within the time specified. He was down to business immediately and done in less time than I expected! HIGHLY recommend ACL!

The key to my VW broke on Labor Day and after calling Geico assistance (like AAA) and they couldn’t find one company to come out, they offered to reimburse me if I found a company that would. ACL Locksmith was not only so polite on the phone, within 2 hours, they were at my apartment and done with my new key. The price was reasonable and just the fact that they came out without hesitation on a holiday, is worth the 5 stars. Definitely recommended!

Today was a bad day… then I locked my keys in my trunk accidently at HEB, and went from bad to worse day. After having my hubby come rescue, and still not being able to pry my door open to release the trunk, we decided to call a locksmith. I looked around a bit and found ACL! I read reviews and decided to give it a shot.
To my surprise the call was quick, pleasant, and painless. I got an immediate quote of $ 40 to help me unlock my car for me. I’m not sure if that is the quote for everyone, but I believe so. I did not need to rekey, just to open it. =) After a brief call they stated they’d be there in 20 mins, which it was!
Christian showed up and in 2 – 3 minutes, he had my door open in no time. He was courteous, friendly, efficient, and overall great guy from the looks of it.
As quoted, $ 40 bucks, so I was quite pleased with all the services from beginning to end! Plus, you can’t really beat this price, trust me I looked!

Absolutely horrible. It’s a scam by some guy who tries to charge you as much money as he can. They tried to charge me $ 100 then after arguing with them, he changed the price because he realized I was on to them. So shitty, trust me and never call this place to unlock your car for you.

I called around because I lost the key to my car and this company had the best pricing by far. They were quick to show up, extremely easy to work with, and definitely made the hassle of rekeying a vehicle much less stressful. I’m typically a Unilocal bully and am quick to throw out insults online after a service but I definitely can’t with this experience. Call them first, you’re wasting you time with anyone else.

I called and they arrived within 15 minutes. Super friendly! Was able to get me in my car within minutes and for much better price than 5 other places I called! When I realized my keys were lost they made me a key on the spot! I love this place and would gladly recommend them!

I lost the keys to my car and called around for quotes and ACL Locksmith was very fair in pricing. Since my car is an older model (2000) I didn’t need re-​programing or anything crazy so it was quick and easy. Not only did they get me back in my car (after having to pop the lock) they made me a spare for a really good rate.
I’ve had to use Pop-​A-​Lock before and they were slow and expensive, it took the guy several attempts to pop the lock.
Bottom line… ACL Locksmith was affordable, quick, and very honest. I will definitely be using them again.

Knight in Shining Armor! I lost my car keys, and my spare did not work because (i believe) it had to be reprogrammed or something like that. The locksmith came out and reprogrammed my key. No dice. So he cut me a new one. Still no luck. He (correctly) assumed that it was because I had taken apart the after-​market alarm/​remote starter that my fiancé had put in the car (dumb, I know, but I was looking for the key that i KNOW is in there somewhere-​it seemed like a good idea at the time). The locksmith stuck around and reassembled the whole system for me, trying different combinations of wires until the car finally started. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Even though other calls were coming in for him, he did not leave until he had corrected all of my bad decisions. If I could give him more stars, I would.

Very happy with ACL Locksmith! The key wouldn’t turn in the ignition of my 2003 Honda Pilot. I did some research and found that the best thing you can do is call a good locksmith, because they can repair the ignition instead of replacing it.
I called ACL and the locksmith came to my house right away… he had my ignition fixed in less than an hour, whew. I saved over $ 500 and couldn’t be more relieved. Super nice guy, fast service… all good.

I called this company because 1) it was open & taking calls at 6:00 PM on Saturday, 2) it was located close to my home in Travis Heights.
The locksmith came to my home within the hour and re-​keyed two doors for about $ 100. He was quick and friendly.
I’ve been hoodwinked by locksmiths before, so my benchmark might be lower than average. Regardless, the service was timely, convenient, relatively affordable, and painless. Thus, 4 Stars.
