However what we really specialize in at Problem Solved is being an ON DEMAND service company with a soul. We pay our I-​9 contractors better than any other company (Task Rabbit, Amazon home services, Thumbtack) and share our profits for the 99% not the 1%. We support the austine​cho​.org project working to solve the problem of homelessness in Austin. We are working on building a 1 to 3% donation fee and profit sharing % into each contract we execute.

Established in 2013.

Born of an intense desire to better myself and help people. Problem Solved 512 was started on 10/​30/​2013. Seeking to improve our customers lives by offering high quality home solutions.

Sheldon is THE. BEST! I called him, and he was on his way in like 30 minutes, seriously. He did great work on an unusual request to install a pay phone in our living room. Figured it out, no problem! And, he is super nice! I highly highly recommend him and will for sure be calling him again for our next project!

I hired Sheldon based on previous Unilocal reviews. He helped me out tremendously.
He hung two curtain rods for me, one small item on brick fireplace, and one heavy item on the back porch (wood siding). I will post pics of his work.
I contacted him through Unilocal and he messaged me right away. From then on we used text messages to communicate. I hired him for a week out and he showed up right on time.
He came in, assessed the work and took pictures and then took a short trip to home depot to get the correct supplies for brick. He even replaced the hardware on my heavy sign because the original hardware was a little too flimsy.

Sheldon did a wonderful job at our new place. We had a lot of pictures and other items to be hung, one of those being about a 100 lb mirror and he did a great job at everything. Sheldon was very kind and constantly asking what we thought and if it was to our liking before continuing. Pricing was great for the amount of time and effort that was put into our place. Thanks for treating our home and things are though they were your own and taking care of our stuff!

We hired Sheldon to mount three TV’s, install a ceiling fan light kit /​porch coach light, and raise our dining room chandelier. He completed all work perfectly. He took his time to make sure it was right (level, centered, secure, etc.) and we truly appreciate the attention to detail. We will definitely keep him in mind should any other work come up and would highly recommend him to others.

I was a little disappointed, but after speaking with him I was told to send him a text and he would call me back when it was convenient for him to schedule and estimate. That was a week ago… Maybe he forgot, but nonetheless I was expecting much more after reading all of these reviews. Hopefully others will have the opportunity to experience what I missed out on.

Spoke to Sheldon on the phone two days ago about some garage shelves I needed hung at my residence. He gave me an estimate on the phone before even seeing the size of these monsters. Sheldon showed up the next day and took his time doing the job right. He even assisted me in moving some things around in the garage that I couldn’t do due to a back and shoulder injury. Shelton’s work is well thought out before one hole is drilled. I would use, and plan on using him on a few more projects at my home very soon. BTW, he stuck to his original estimated price.

Sheldon is great at what he does. We had him put together a tv stand and dresser when we moved into our new house recently. We have a lot of stuff we still need assembled, and we will hire him for those jobs as well. Sheldon is very focused and works fast, is low maintenance, and just all around takes care of business.

We just bought a house and were clueless about installing a bathroom fan. Sheldon installed it for us at a fair rate and kindly explained everything he was doing. He is cheerful, trustworthy, does great quality work, and is good with the pets. We will definitely hire Problem Solved for other issues that will inevitably come up around our home.

This is kind of embarrassing to admit, but we had spent years being driven crazy by falling towel racks, a dangling ceiling fan, a sticking door and what may have been the world’s (or at least a crappy 1980’s hardware store’s) ugliest porch light. We called Sheldon and within — I kid you not — an HOUR he fixed everything! My only complaint is the profound sense of self-​reproach I felt for not having dealt with all this dumb stuff sooner. In short: Problem Solved is the best possible moniker for this killer handyman.

Super quality work — at a reasonable cost — and a very enjoyable guy to be around!
He was extremely helpful, fast, smart, professional & efficient.
I called him about a number of different items in varying degrees of difficulty, some of which to just get his opinion. What couldn’t be accomplished that day project wise — he was on it — seeking resolution before he even left our place.
