Love how this place is all about their customers. They have amazing deals and you honestly can’t beat their warranty. I would definitely recommend making an appointment or at least calling ahead. They always seem really busy. Their customer service is on point!

I had AAA put a donut on my car and drove here to have them check out my deflated tire. Since I didn’t have an appointment and they were really busy, I had to wait about an hour. But they checked out my tire and determined that I needed a new valve which they fixed at no cost, then they removed my donut and put my tire back on. Even if I would have had to replace my tire, they would have been able to do it for $ 50.

If you want a place to trust go here!!! I went to Firestone and they told me the wheel base was leaking and a new tire was 165. Also they did a complimentary test that showed my battery was dying. I decided to take my car to discount. It took them 5 minutes to find a nail in my tire. They patched it and battery was fine cost was $ 0! Very professional and efficient! I will never get tires from another place!

Don’t trust Discount Tire about replacing tires — get a second opinion.

Generally, I’ve had good experiences with Discount Tire. Unfortunately, this most recent experience has left me feeling like they don’t want my business.
A month ago I ordered some tires for my car on their website to be shipped to their location nearest to me (this Ben White location). I received a confirmation e-​mail stating that my order had been received and that I would receive either a call or e-​mail from the store to schedule the installation. Three weeks passed and I hadn’t heard from anyone, so last week I called the store directly. The employee I spoke to said that he didn’t have any record of the order, and they didn’t have the tires. He looked up the tire I was ordering and said there were only a few stores in Texas that carried them. He said he would see how soon he could get them and call me right back. Now, a week later, I still haven’t heard from anyone. Pretty disappointing.

Discount Tires is one of the few places where I expect great customer service no matter which location I visit. It seems to me that customer care is ingrained into the core of its business model. Literally everyone I have run into at multiple locations have been courteous and kind. For example they might be running around but if I’m approaching the door, they stop and open it for me, waiting patiently and with a smile when I know they’ve got better things to do, for instance replacing a tire or even fetching a tool. They might start up a conversation while happily filling up your tires with air, asking about your day, or work, or even about the trees you may have mentioned you were going to plant the last time you were in. Maybe it’s because I’m from New York and I naturally expect people to be s#!% bags that I’m blown away whenever I come here.
So to get along with this review… I had to get the pressure in my tires checked twice in a month’s time so I knew something was wrong. Since I was traveling far the next day I was worried about getting it fixed in time. I relayed this to Christian who helped me at the front desk. He’s cheerful and has an easygoing demeanor which put me more at ease after learning there’s a small tear in my tire slowly letting air out. I suppose his cute smile helped too. I did wait an hour but when they came up with the keys to my car and the receipt the total was a whopping $ 0.
I didn’t even buy my tires here. They fixed it for free and were complete dolls about it, for lack of a better term! I love them. Also in their open garage they were blasting & singing along to Fetty Wap which was hilarious yet endearing.

If I could rate it lower I would these people treat women like trash. I went to go buy two tires and the man who helped me was so rude and mean. He would even sell me the two tires I wanted I left in tears. Don’t go to this place go somewhere else.

Found out I’d driven on a flat tire to work this morning — FML, amirite?
I drive for Lyft on the weekends and the other drivers I heard from UNANIMOUSLY recommended Discount Tire. They were right, this places is the tits.
I went in without an appointment (they didn’t have any available for a few days) but I was still taken care of quickly (about 45 minutes, which is quickly considering how many people were there). I went in convinced I’d need to replace my tire, but instead of just trying to make the sale, they discovered it only needed a minor repair and offered an amazingly cheap warranty for all of my tires.
Everyone I interacted with there (Victor over the phone, Chad at the counter, aaaand unfortunately didn’t get the guy’s name that went over the repair with me) was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful, despite how busy they were. I sh*t you not, I even saw an employee helping a little old lady to a chair. These guys are AWESOME.

I went to them about two weeks ago because my tire had a nail in it. They fixed it for free! They were all really nice, fast, and helpful.
TIP: Make an appointment before you go in. The place was super crowded with a long line of people, but they took me first only because I had an appointment. I was out of there in less than an hour! Definitely going back to them for any tire troubles.

I’m giving this 5 stars despite the wait. They are understandably busy, but the service is top notch and these guys are working in your best interest. Free flat fixes and free air compel me to make this place my choice for tire changes. Good selection of tires, knowledgeable staff, and excellent prices (with price matching) together make this a 5 star tire shop.

Recently purchased my car with brand new tires on it. On my way to work, I ran over a jagged metal piece that pierced the sidewall of my tire… non-​repairable and I was looking at around $ 200 for a new tire. The guys at Discount Tire — Ben White said they’d covered it for me under warranty and even insured all of my 4 tires… only ended up paying $ 120!!!These guys were very courteous and professional and earned themselves a new customer for the foreseeable future!

DT used to offer a solid service. They have decent prices and offer free tire rotation and balance. Problem is it takes 90 plus minutes of you walk-​in and I’ve yet to get out of there in under 45 minutes with an appointment. Realistically, unless you enjoy waiting in lobbies, there’s better options.

First of all, make an appointment! This place is constantly busy, but they have a policy that you will be in and out in 45 minutes with an appointment. I found that to be true this week. Not to mention that’s it’s super easy to make one online.
The parking lot is small and the overflow parking is not marked, so it was a bit problematic getting parked. I was helped right as I walked in, though, and they moved my car to a safer spot for me.
They repaired a nail in one tire for free, and replaced two others for me. The service I got from Patrick was friendly and personable. He didn’t try to push me into something I didn’t want.
You pay first so that when everything is done, you get your keys and leave. I really liked that part.
Definitely recommend this place.

So I went in because I thought I had a nail in my tire and the other place I went too told me they couldn’t find it. Within 5 seconds the Discount Tire man named Chad found it. Then on top of them finding the nail so quickly Chad gave me my service for free! I will absolutely be returning here when I need to purchase new tires or for anything regarding my tires.
— Also side note there was at least 8 or so people in the waiting room so I was worried it was going to take a couple hours and it was SO FAST like an hour and they had it done. A++ on their customer service.

I went into this location yesterday to get my tires aired up and rotated… So I thought. It turned out that since I never rotated my tires my two front ones were completely bald and needed to be replaced. I didn’t want mismatching tires so Chad, the sales representative, found the perfect tires for me at a great price! This location has a reputation as being VERY busy, but that doesn’t slow them down. They had my tires rotated and my two new tires installed in less than 35 minutes. I was amazed how quickly and friendly the staff was there, even under pressure. My car drives SO much better now. Thank you Chad and the Discount Tire Team! Keep up the good work.

Dropped off my flat tire on Saturday and they prepped me in case I needed a new tire. They were able to fix the flat saving me from having to buy a whole new tire. And no charge for Fixing my flat! Despite being incredibly busy Monday morning, they were able to get me in and out within 30 minutes. Very kind and professional both visits. Obviously Customer service oriented.
I originally took my car to Firestone and they were going to charge around $ 40 to fix my flat. Lucky for me they said I had a screw that didn’t actually puncture my tire. They pulled the screw out and let me drive on. The very next day, I was leaving to work to see my tire completely flat…

This place has unbelievable customer service. Every time we have a flat — they come through for us. Last week running errands I realized my tire pressure was down. My husband caught up with me, got me home, then changed my tire to my spare. Once he took my tire down — they fixed it right up. Turns out there was not only a nail, but a razor blade. Not sure how that happened — but glad it was in the same tire.
I will need to replace all my tires in several months — so we will definitely be back there to buy our new ones. Can’t remember how many times my sons and husband have used them — they are our go-​to tire store.

The receipt for tires we bought less than 3 years ago says «warranty: mileage-60,000.» Discount Tire just told us we need all new tires at 35,000 miles. They also very nicely explained in a scripted way what they mean by «warranty» is not really a warranty. They will give us a discount on new tires. When we questioned it they added:
— they do not like the type of tires they sold us
–the tires could be fine and the problem is us (the «application»)
–nobody else, only us, has ever thought a warranty meant new tires when they fail to meet minimum standards.

This place deserves 4.5 stars, but since I can’t do that 4 stars it is.
I went there about six months ago after my tires and rims were stolen and they were awesome. I really hate that I have to pay $ 1000 but it turned out to be worth it. The reason I’m writing today is because one of the workers put one of the lug nuts on incorrectly and while doing maintenance on my vehicle today it broke the stud off. I took the broken lug nut back to them and they were more than happy to replace it. The manager sent me to O’Reilly’s up the street for the parts and had one of their mechanic shops up the street fix it at there cost.
Can’t ask more for a company to be honest about their mistake and fix it. I’ll definitely be back when I need new tires.

When I need help with a tire, I don’t like to have to ask questions like:
— Why did you replace my tire when I asked for a patch?
— Why can’t you patch a tire with a screw in tread that is worn 20%?
— Why are you trying to charge me 52% to replace a tire that is worn 20%?
— Why are you refusing to return my original tire?
— Why do you say original tire has to be returned to the manufacturer when the issue was road hazard?
— Why do you say original tire has to be returned to the manufacturer when you charged a disposal fee when I originally purchased the tires?
— Why are you hassling a loyal customer?
