Cody Pools

The worst pool company in Austin. My 4 yr old Cody Pool is leaking everywhere. Going to cost me $$$$ to fix. Beware!!! Call anyone but Cody Pools.

We think Cody Pools is a première and reliable pool construction and remodeling company. This is after interviewing over 15 companies over a few months for an extensive pool remodel which included an expansive new deck, hot tub, patio cover, cook area, gas fire pits, new filtration equipment and a total remodel of the pool itself. We especially appreciate working with Zach Johnson. He was attentive to all of our ideas, he communicated well and quickly and what stands out the most was the ease of going from our initial conversation to a pool design which took into account all of our details and included improvements to the plan per his suggestions. We have every confidence that had we chosen to do the remodel with Cody Pools that it would have been beautiful, to specification, on time and built to last. In the end Cody Pools was our 2^nd choice as we felt just as confident one other pool company which was cheaper.

Cody Pools did an amazing job on our pool. Great service and construction from start to finish. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Considering a pool is such a big investment, this process was incredibly easy. Blake was our designer and came up with exactly what we needed. He was very patient any time we needed a revision and was fun to work with. Trey was our Project Manager and helped get our pool installed in a very timely manner. The quality is great and after hearing frustrating stories from friends who purchased pools from other companies, I am so happy we chose to go with Cody Pools. From our first design meeting to the day we first got in, the entire experience was stress free and very enjoyable.

We love our pool! Blake, our designer, was great. He listened to our needs, worked with our budget, and was just an all around great person to work with. I have zero complaints from the design department. The only complaints I have are with the construction process. We decided to build during peak pool building season. We knew what we signed up for in regards to delays and timing. However, the communication from builder regarding delays and getting things changed was an issue at times. We would be told one thing, and see another happen with respect to what is going on that day or week. We went on a 9 day vacation while under construction, and not a single thing was done while we were gone. We were told that x, y, z would be taken care of by the time we got back. I understand delays, but it would have been nice to have better communication about it. The builder didn’t even contact us to let us know the delays half the time. We just experienced having no one show up. That is honestly my only complaint. At the end of the day, any construction project is a headache. But, we love the end result! I would use Cody again, but only during off season :)

We are very happy with our pool that was built by Cody Pools completed in Aug. 2014. We chose Cody Pools based on people, experience and a firm price. We were very lucky to have two of Cody Pools top talent to work with. Blake Moran and Jason Harlor are first and foremost gentlemen and a delight to work with. They both were available to us at anytime for any questions or concerns we had. We were very specific on what we wanted and probably not the easiest to work with at times. Blake designed a gorgeous pool and Jason built it beautifully. The reaction we have from people that have seen our completed pool is «Wow»! We would highly recomend Cody Pools, Blake and Jason to those who are considering a pool build.

I spoke with many different pool companies before choosing Cody. There were two other companies that came out to my house, talked about design and never called me back after. I worked with Steve on the sales side and he was great. We went through several design phases, a redesign due to the City of Austin right-​of-​way and he was great through it all. We absolutely love the design.
Severo was our project manager and was on top of every aspect of the construction. They accommodated changes along the way and were very helpful with permitting. I highly recommend Cody Pools, Steve and Severo.

We could not have been more pleased working with Cody Pools and Michael at the Parmer Lane/​Georgetown office. He listened to our ideas and delivered us a visual on the computer in full color of our backyard and pool, it even had a working waterfall and bubblers. He took our ideas to a new level and guided us on to a pool we are so proud of and are complimented on regularly. All additional changes were done in real time at no extra costs. The process was so easy it was crazy ridiculous! They even submitted to our HOA and their contacts at the city. I have heard nightmares regarding this from other pool company reviews. When they finally broke ground we had a pool exactly 8 weeks later. It’s a beautiful unique design that fits perfectly in our backyard and it’s limited space. We have a smaller yard and he designed it within all city regulations and it is stunning. more beautiful than we hoped for. We had one issue with an LED bubbler flaking out on us. I called the warranty dept and we had a new light within days. Another easy process. Trey, our construction manager is top notch and highly recommend him. Thank you Cody pools! We are telling all of our friends what a great experience we had!

Horrible company! We had a contract to build a pool and when Mike Church, the owner, realized that his salesman had miss bid the project by $ 15K, he refused to build the pool and breached the contract that he personally had signed! We hired another pool company to build the same pool and sued Cody Pools, Inc. and Church Properties (parent company) for the difference in the cost of the pool. After a 2 year arbitration battle, we won, but we learned during the process that these entities had been sued many times. This says something about one’s character. I highly recommend that you stay away from this company!
