Super cute, family friendly place for ice cream with the other side having food. I only had the ice cream and it was awesome. The staff was very friendly and my friend and I even took pictures in the little photo booth on the way out. It has quite an outdoor area with a playground. If you have kids it looks great but even if you don’t it was fun. Highly recommended!

It’s the perfect place for ice cream and fun for the lil ones… I’ve been taking my daughter here for the past 9 years at least once a week. Their chocolate strawberries are amazing and the small ice cream cakes are the bomb!!!

One of the few Ice Cream places deserving a 5 star rating. Mexican Vanilla with honey is my new fave… mix in a little heath bar and it’s phenomenal. If you’re in Austin and have a hankering for Ice Cream, this is the place to go to.

Been coming here since I was a kid. My favorite now is chocolate with pecans. Love this place and wouldn’t trade for it. I’m quite sure the butterfat in this ice cream is higher than most because it is beyond delicious and creamy.

This is an awesome Amy’s location. Small indoor space so don’t be intimidated by a line that goes out the door. It moves fast and even if it didn’t, Amy’s is worth the wait! There’s a ton of outdoor seating and a playground for the kids.

i’m not sure why this place is so popular. I think its just OK. I tried the Mexican vanilla with brownies and then the chocolate with cookie dough the next time. both times i didn’t finish it. i think its pretty average, there is generally always a wait because it is so small.

Neat little ice cream parlor with some typical flavors and some not so typical flavors. They had at time we visited 2 flavors that used alcohol in the recipe and I tried the kahlua one. It was very good with Mexican vanilla flavor. Has an awesome playground for the kids to run it out after a healthy sugar high. I highly recommend giving this place a try if your in the area.

It’s decent but gave me a stomachache and is spendy for what you get, and they barely have room to stand in there. But you can’t deny the popularity of the place, and the employees are friendly, and it tastes alright. They need a larger store. Hint-park in the back.

Worth a stop, almost any and everytime! Great ice cream served up by funky, friendly staff and mixed together with any and all toppings you could ever want on a cold stone. Go traditional, such as the Mexican Vanilla or Belgian Chocolate, or something funkadelic, like the Guiness ice cream and enjoy happiness, one spoonful after another!

I recently moved to Austin from Las Vegas and they only thing wrong with Vegas is that they don’t have an Amy’s! This is the best ice cream I have ever had! The staff at the Burnet location was super friendly. TOPPINGS… any topping you could ever dream of having, they have it! It was like a topping wonderland!

If 6 stars were possible, they would be first in line. We showed up right at closing time with a birthday girl in tow and they were nice enough to hold the door open for us. They promptly served their delicious ice cream to all 7 people in our party with a huge smile. The ice cream was on point as always. I highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth that need sto be quenched.

Went to this place while I waited for my burgers from Phil’s Ice house. The employees were very enthusiastic, which made the wait more tolerable. The ice bream was delicious and the price was reasonable. Would definitely come back!

I love this place. Mexican Vanilla is my back-up choice but boy is it good. I REALLY have been searching and searching for their lemon poppy flavor but it’s been so long since they’ve had it. Very refreshing and delicious… Please bring this flavor back or make it a permanent stay! We come here every week!

So I was unfortunately on the road for my birthday yesterday. Stopped by Amy’s for my birthday treat, told them it was my birthday, and they amazingly pulled out a candle, grabbed a lighter from Phil’s next door, and sang Happy Birthday to me. :) I really appreciated how kind Zeke was to go to the effort. And oh yea, peanut butter stout, terrific.

Free ice cream days are horrible. First of all this location is next to Lamar Elementary school and a small majority of the kids that walked over from the school kept cutting in line. Making our already long wait… You know the normal lines are long… Imagine free ice cream day. Line wrapped halfway around the building. Well after a while a couple of us said something to the kids cutting some left and went to the end of the line and others just stood there looking very well… Ignorant. I called the store… Yes from the line. Told them of kids cutting and that it was getting annoying. They seemed concerned and said they would come outside. Two managers came out. Both of them went to the kids cutting and said hi to them and then asked them if they liked ice cream. Are you kidding me?! What a waste of a management team and a teaching lesson for the kids. You just taught the kids and future of Austin that you love money more than you love the community. Good job! It was a teaching lesson for me in two ways. Don’t spend your dollars at local places that don’t truly care about the community and two I talked to my kids about older kids and how they act when their parents are not around. I asked my kids if they thought those kids were cool or kind. And were would those kids be in 10, 15, 20 years? Would they like to be on that same path? Needless to say… This is the third not so great experience we have had here and so I had to write at least one of the experiences. What ever happened to small local companies rocking out customer service? I think this company has gotten lost in themselves.

I have been hearing about this place for as long as I have lived here but, I am not a sweets or dessert type person so, I wasn’t in a huge hurry to try it! This location is awesome since it is attached to a bar so, you can take the kids here for ice cream and enjoy their tables outside with a beer while the kids play! That sounds like a bonus to me for everyone with kids. We didn’t wait in line for very long and the people behind the counter were really pleasant and let us sample a couple of different flavors. They have featured flavors that change weekly(I think) but, I chose the Zilker Mint Chip. The price versus cup size are pretty expensive but, you are paying for the brand and a better ice cream than you would get in a grocery store. My Zilker Mint Chip was very good but, I would have liked more of a minty flavor to it. I ate half of it and then put the rest in my freezer and it was still good when I ate it a few days later. I thought it was good but, I thought it was comparable to Blue Bell to be honest. Maybe it was just the flavor that I chose or I am not an ice cream coinsurer; or maybe it’s a combination of both! I will go back and try other flavors to see what everyone is so excited about!

Amy’s never disappoints! That Mexican vanilla bean ice cream must be made with Unicorn dust and magical frogs. Awesome!

I have a standard at Amy’s, and it is an excellent combination: Mexican Vanilla with cinnamon and chocolate chips. Seriously, it’s ridiculously delicious. I know good ice cream, man. Amy’s was trying her best to tempt me with one of the rotating flavors — they have a peanut butter honey sandwich flavor? What? That’s one of my favorite combinations ever and now it is in ice cream form? Does this mean Heaven is real? I asked for a sample and it was delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and now I was having a tough time making a decision. The only thing that could have made that flavor better was if they added banana.(Think about it, Amy?) I decided to go with my standard so my friend could try the amazing deliciousness. My ice cream is scooped, mixed, and served, except this is weird — where’s the cinnamon? I can see a tiny little bit of it, but it’s like the girl only gave me three or four shakes of cinnamon. Okay, she doesn’t know how big of a cinnamon fan I am, so that’s okay. Wait, where’s the chocolate chips? There are some, but normally the servers are a little more generous with the crush ins. Okay, well, that’s fine, more ice cream for me. Wait, why does my ice cream have a very distinct flavor that is clearly not Mexican Vanilla? My friend tried it and confirmed — some other flavor found its way into my bowl. Now I am just sad. Doesn’t matter; had ice cream.

This place had really good stuff! The ice cream was extra creamy and thicker than most stores. I had a chocolate base with fresh peanut butter mixed in. The mixing was done by a fella that put on quite a show! They have a trivia question you can answer for a free mix in so keep your mind sharp. They also have a small playground at this location as well as some fun adult games too… Although my girl had fun sitting on the cow statue and playing on the toys too!
