And, somehow, it got even worse! They sent me an email to ‘give them another chance!” through Unilocal with a coupon attached. I gave them another chance, scheduled an appointment, and low and behold… no one showed up, no one called.

I bought a Groupon to get my carpet cleaned in June 2013. This has been IMPOSSIBLE. My groupon expired and they haven’t replied to when they will be able to come and clean my carpet. They promised to schedule it for the next available appointment and it still hasn’t happened.
I was trying to get my Geoupon voucher refunded and the company told me they would still give me the service so I didn’t get my refund.
Theorem customer service is terrible. I really don’t understand how they’re still open.

Edit: After reading my review A-​Best replied (as you can see below) and offered to honor my expired Groupon. I’m scheduling a carpet cleaning with them and if everything goes well I will update this review.

I purchased a Groupon for A-​Best. I called the phone number on the Groupon voucher and left voice mails every day for weeks. A-​Best never returned my calls.
The Groupon expired. Now Groupon the company will not issue me a refund because you have to request a refund within 7 days of purchase. How are you supposed to know that a company will not return your calls only 7 days after purchasing the Groupon?
So, somehow I am responsible for knowing that A-​Best changed their phone number without leaving a forwarding message at the number printed on the voucher or contacting people who had purchased their Groupon.
I’m out of $ 60 and angry at A-​Best and Groupon.
What a crappy way to do business.
Don’t work with these guys. They won’t bother to call you back.

It always makes me happy when businesses can take criticism (no matter how sassy the criticizer may or may not have been) and effectively make improvements.
Below is an excerpt of a message that was sent from A-​Best Customer Care about a month ago:
«We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with trying to schedule a carpet cleaning with A-​Best a couple of months ago.
Unfortunately, our customer service issues were due to a negligent secretary/​receptionist, who no longer works for A-​Best. In addition to replacing the secretary, A-​Best is now under new management and working diligently to get back our good name. «
Well, that diligence paid off. Customer service has been great since I received that message, so A-​Best and I hugged it out. I now have a brand new looking area rug (I forgot the rug was once not so brown!), and my bedrooms have squeaky clean, hair-​free (ahem, Lilly.) carpet.

The ones who left negative comments were not joking. I purchased a groupon and wanted to add to the services so wanted to pay more directly to them. I have called now for over 6 days, left messages, and emailed and have not heard back once from anyone at this company. I will be contacting Groupon at the end of today requesting a refund. It should never be this hard to talk to someone about paying them and coming out to work. Why they offer Groupon or even open things up for services currently I have no idea since they do not return calls or schedule anything.

I purchased a Groupon to have a sofa and love seat cleaned by A-​Best. The guys were right on time for the appointment. It was the first time these pieces of furniture had been cleaned in 12 years, and with 4 little kids, they needed it bad! A-​Best did a great job. I asked if they could clean the cream-​colored upholstery on my dining room chairs, and I am sold on these guys after seeing the results! The cushions had become discolored (a very sad shade of gray), and one of my kids had scribbled with a red ink pen on one of them. A-​Best had my chairs looking like new again! Even my husband was impressed! A-​Best steam-​cleaned the carpet in my dining room and my living room, and they steam-​cleaned all of my stairs. They did fantastic work, and I was especially thrilled by how affordable they were. I have recommended them to friends and family who have also been happy. I will be calling A-​Best again soon.

These guys were great! They got stains out of my sofa and carpet that had been there for years. I was shocked, really. I thought those stains were of the permanent persuasion. They were also super friendly and efficient. I will totally use them again. They were also amazingly accommodating with a last minute schedule change, which was so helpful. Thanks guys!

Last Wednesday morning, I bought the $ 59 Groupon to have 3 rooms cleaned – I was having company and needed to give my carpets a good cleaning. The day I bought the Groupon, I called A-​Best twice and left a message both times – once in the morning and again towards the end of the business day. Both times I was told that the person that schedules carpet cleaning wasn’t in and that they’d give her the message that I called. The next day, I called again. And once again, the person that schedules the appts wasn’t in, so I left a message. Again.
Tammy called me back, but unfortunately, I was not able to get the call. She left a message and told me that I could schedule an appt via email as well. So later that day (Thursday) I sent her an email. No response. Friday I called AGAIN and was told that the person to schedule appts was not in. Frustrated I asked if there was no one else that could simply schedule an appt… and was told that I was only talking with an answering service, not the actual company. This woman left yet ANOTHER message marked «urgent» for someone to return my call. Silence. I called again. Silence. And again. Silence. It’s now been a week. This is ridiculous. A-​Best IS in the customer service industry, right? I’m not sure why it’s so difficult to get a return call or email to set up an appt. I’m trying to do business with this company and they’re making it impossible.
Enough.
Yesterday I contacted Groupon to get my money back. If this is the way A-​Best treats their customers, then I will pass. Possibly they are too busy from the Groupon? If that’s the case, if they can’t handle the business, then (in my opinion) don’t run a promotion that you can’t deliver on.
At this point, I am running back to the national chain that I’ve done business with for the past 5 years… yes, I’ll pay more… but I bet they’ll happily and quickly schedule an appointment for me. Don’t waste your time with A-​Best.

Bought a Groupon for upholstery cleaning. They were on time and did a fabulous job! They even gave me a very fair deal on my additional ottoman and extra long couch (not included in the Groupon). I would definitely call them again. They also have a mobile detailing service for a great price!

Very pleased. Jeff was on time and my carpet looks new and smells fresh. They use cinnamon in the cleaning solution which makes your house smell delicious. Jeff was careful with my furnishings and walls and it was obvious takes pride in his work.
I will definitely use them again.

I purchased a $ 49 Sofa + Loveseat Cleaning from Groupon and ended up with a $ 210.00 cleaning of every room in our 1,700 square foot home.
I’ve worked in sales before, so I understand the power of the upsell. I understand that offering such a small introductory price opens the door to bigger sale. But if $ 210.00 is not a good deal, don’t tell me.
The 2 service guys that came out were personable and fast and I completely happy with the job they did.
