Plumb It

I was satisfied with plumb it. They came to my house on time within a day’s notice of first phone call. Additionally, that day was New Year’s Eve which I really appreciated. They installed a trim kit in my shower that another plumber could not complete. They were knowledgable and worked efficiently, getting the job done quickly. I supplied all the parts and labor was $ 225. Less labor cost could have been nice, but considering the punctuality, knowledgable individuals, and getting the job done quickly it was worth it. Thanks! I would use them again.

I have used Plumb It for three different jobs in my house. They are always professional and do quality work at a great price. My last job cost less than the original estimate. The work has always been excellent and they always address any questions or concerns you might have, even after the check has cleared.
If I ever need anything again, they will have my business.

i called on friday for service. on saturday, james arrived at my house at 900. he assessed the situation, explained the worst case scenario and worked his magic! it took him less than ½ hour to fix my bathtub drain. didn’t bust out any walls (worst case), didn’t replace any unnecessary parts, cleaned up after himself! he was honest, friendly, professional and incredibly reasonable. i am going to recommend this company to my friends and family! super, great, awesome!

This is one great company!!! My water heater is in a crazy spot in the house and was literally under water. Scott called me and said someone would be out between 11 – 1 he got there at 11:01! Very professional, experienced and got a difficult job done in 3 hours. I will always recommend plumb-​it to my friends and family for their awesome work and price. Keep it up guys!!!

Scott and team are great. We have had them out many times for quick repairs. My wife has a habit off putting things down the garbage disposal and getting them stuck! They have always been honest and reasonable in pricing! I’ll never call another plumber — they have earned a customer for life!

Wanted to give my uncle a birthday gift by fixing a mysterious leak he had wrestled with a while. Scott diagnosed the issue within five minutes of visit. The issue turned out to be less serious than initially guessed so after fixing it, he readjusted what he had quoted me on the phone which was awesome! He also help diagnose the other leak in their house while he is there free of charge. :)

I woke up this morning with a cold water shower. The pilot light was out and would not stay lit. I suspected a bad thermocouple. I called Plumb-​It. First, they actually answered the phone, no answering machine, which was nice. Second they responded within a couple hours. The service man James was polite and courteous. He fixed it on the spot in about 20 minutes. Very pleased.

My call was answered right away and given a reasonable quote for a toilet instillation. Scott was professional and arrived on time. The job was completed perfectly. Will call again!

I had a relatively small plumbing repair but needed service sooner than later. I called Plumb It and reached James. Even though they were busy and don’t usually service my area, he kindly extended himself anyway. He showed up on Tuesday as scheduled and identified the problem right away and the repair was made in just a mere 45 minutes. Very polite, and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend Plumb It to anyone who wants the security of well trained plumbers who are polite, service oriented and go the extra mile. Also very important to note is that these plumbers are honest and know what they are doing. They have an upright character and are not out to gouge or take advantage of their customers.5 stars for these gents!

I am a restaurant owner in Plainfield, IL. We had some issues with our restrooms among other things and I called Plumb It to advise on repairs. Scott and his crew made sure the job was done to 100% satisfaction. I won’t call anyone else for any future problems here at the store or God forbid, my own home.

After having a really bad experience with Walz Plumbing I was looking for a good plumber. I’m fairly handy but the problem pipe was in a tricky location that only a sideshow freak or a experienced plumber could reach. So after reading several great reviews about Plumb-​It I gave them a call. Scott the owner and James came an looked at leaking pipe and agreed that it could be fixed but would require some potential minor cuts in the floor or joist to fix the problem. James returned the next day and was able to not only fix the leaky pipe but didn’t have to cut the floor or joist. I have already recommended Plumb-​It to several friends and coworkers. Great service and reasonable prices. Step aside Batman and Robin there is a new dynamic duo in town.

As a new homeowner with a major plumbing issue, it was important that I found a reputable plumber. I was referred to Scott M. of Plumb It Inc. by another plumber. I did my research and found great reviews and decided to call him regarding my issue. He was professional prompt and gave me the best course of action to resolve my issue; (a leak from my hot water heater under my concrete slab). He gave me the best estimate out of 3 other plumbers. He explained the procedure and showed me the progress step by step. Now a days, it is difficult to find a dependable, trustworthy contractor. I have now found a plumber for all of my future needs, and would highly recommend him to friends and family

Cannot say enough good things about the gentlemen at Plumb-​It! We called on a weekend and got a reasonable rate, fast, friendly service and a plumber we will continue to use for future jobs.

Scott was excellent! I was at my home 15 mins after I called him. He was very fair with his pricing and fixed the problem quickly. I would definitely recommend him to my friends!

It was Thanksgiving day, first day in my new home, and my pump area started retaining water. As a first time home-​owner, I didn’t know what to do and called «plumb-​it» to fix the problem. I knew it was over-​time, so it was going to be $ 200 just to check-​out my problem. I agreed. They came in, they saw the problem and in the next 1 minute the problem was solved.
The issue was that power plug of the ejector pump was not all the way pugged in and hence it was not draining the water. The plumber pushed the plug and the water was draining easily. The plumber didn’t even touch one oz. of water or any pipes. He charged me another $ 200 as «service call», a total of nearly $ 400 for 1 minute job ! This was gouging at the best and it was Thanksgiving day ! The spirit of Thanksgiving had left the company and people working for it !!!
As a first time home owner if he had educated me to «push» the plug in place, I could have saved at least $ 200 ! Shame on them for taking advantage of first time home owner ! The site didn’t have a negative rating but if there was, negative 5 would be my rating ! Shame on you Plumb It !

Scott showed up on time for our plumbing issue. I thought it was going to cost a lot more to fix, but it ended up not being that bad. Very professional and put us at ease when he explained his diagnosis and our options. We will definitely call on his again for any and all of our plumbing needs.

Scott is the absolute best!
I first came across him and his service about a year ago when I wanted to install a reverse osmosis water filtration system in my house. Knowing that I would completely botch the job myself and probably cut off a limb or at least a finger, I reached out to good old Unilocal!for a trusty plumber; there I found Scott.
I called him and asked if he could do such an installation. He said he didn’t know, had never done it before but would like to learn. We agreed on a price and out he came. He did an outstanding job, the system works flawlessly and no one lost an appendage. Best yet, I had my man for all things plumbing.
Fast forward to today. My mom is old and lives alone. She had a leak in her basement. I called Scott and asked him if he could head over there. He was there right on time. I was supposed to be there too to help Mom understand what was happening because she gets nervous about things like this except my car didn’t start.
So I phoned Scott and asked him if he could be my eyes and ears for my mom and let her know what was happening.
He agreed.
Then I called my mom, told her to let Scott in and that I would be there ASAP.
She did.
And just as I got my car jumped, Scott phoned back and said he had fixed the problem. Seems that there was dry rot around the valve of the sump pump. Nasty thing that dry rot. Anyway, Scott said he felt funny about going back up to my mom’s house because she’s old and a little confused to give her an invoice so I agreed to just mail him a check. That’s the kind of guy he is.
While I had him on the phone, I told him my brother had just bought a townhouse (thank God because he’s been living in my house with me for 18 months while he goes through a divorce — I mean I love him and all but it was cramping my style a wee bit!) and that there was a problem with the pump in his jacuzzi tub and asked if Scott knew of someone who could fix a gas leak.
He said «Yeah. I do gas leaks too.»
So off he went to my brother’s house on the spot and fixed everything there too.
Now that’s a guy who’s getting it done. And he’s honest and does great work. Couldn’t imagine going to someone else for anything related to plumbing. Or gas stuff too if you need it!
