Jason H Juba, O.D.

I had not been to see the eye doc for over a year and I needed my contact lens prescription renewed, so I called Kaiser and asked to see the doc. I was referred to the Aurora Centerpoint Medical Offices to see Dr. Juba.
First of all, I have had medical insurance that has allowed me to visit any doctor I wished to see, for all of my life. Never before have I been involved with a large medical service provider such as Kaiser. In the year I have been with them, I can not be more pleased with the service, the professional staff and the quality of care.
The ONLY thing they can improve on is their phone service. I get so tired of listening to messages that require you to press #1 or #2 or #3, especially when the question you want answered fits none of the above categories, then you end up pressing #9 and waiting in a que for the next available operator.
Anyway, back to Dr. Juba, nice young man who was personable, smart and took all the time that was necessary to evaluate my vision and my vision needs, explaining the results and answering my questions (which I tend to have a lot of when it comes to my health).II will be getting some samples of new contacts that he stated would be better for my eyes and would even allow me to see where the golf ball lands after I hit it. Once I evaluate these, he will give me a script so I can purchase new lenses on line. He also did full evaluations of my retina, cataract evaluation and optic nerve. Some of what he told me to look out for in the future had me a bit worried but he did state that there were ways to lessen any future problems. He also dilated my eyes which left me a bit blurry for about 4 hours, a new experience that I can do without although it was necessary.
All in all, this was the kind of patient/​physician relationship that everyone should have, evaluations were provided, questions were asked and answered, a sense of trust was established… perfect. I am totally comfortable with this doctor managing my vision needs.
