Concessions are expensive, but the ticket prices aren’t bad. The theater is big and clean and we had a great time watching a new release on the big screen.

Big relaxing leather seats. Stadium seating. Clean concession area with great choices even vegetarian samosas. Friendly staff.

This theatre has managed to keep its stride. I am not sure why some people still try to blame this place for a past incident but it is not fair. Each and every experience I have had has been nothing but pleasant.

Love this theater!!! It never too crowded, Awesome prices and super comfy. We love that we can get ice cream or coffee as well. A diamond in the rough for sure

This theaters concession stand sucks they are rude and way over priced!!! It was my Sissy’s daughters birthday we came here to watch Hotel Transylvania 2 and it was so disorganized I had to talk with the Manager, thank goodness there are still professional people employed in movie theaters. I am giving 3 star’s cause the Manager, if it was not for him I would not give any at all. ;-)

Hands down the best theater in Denver. Everything is new. Nice leather seats. Friendly employees. Never crowded. Rarely any demon children screaming and crying. Get some ghetto ass folks who don’t understand that they need to shut their phone off. But that’s easy to remedy.

I live in Los Angeles, but I grew up in Aurora. Whenever I come back to visit, I go to this theater.
The seats are very comfortable, the theater is well maintained, and I can see matinée movies for $ 4.75. You can’t beat it!
Parking is easy and plentiful. With 16 theaters, you’ll easily find something you want to see.
Please patronize this theater.

In the aftermath of what took place I was surprised the theater remained open — but was glad they did when I had a chance to see a movie there recently. Incredibly clean, the absolute cheapest ticket I have bought for a movie in years (on a weekend evening no less) and the staff are beyond polite and helpful. Visible security presence in multiple areas of the theater was another positive feature. Strongly recommend.

Came in the other night with my grandparents to watch Terminator whatever. The theater was nice and the seats were comfy, but the concessions line was confusing as a tourist and getting fresh popcorn at 10:30pm might not be ideal (I worked at a theater for two years myself) but guests shouldn’t feel bad for ordering items or asking queations, as I did.

Very clean and cheap matinée loved it!!! Show started on time. Place was clean all over. Same price as the «cheap» theater but much better experience

Century Aurora is my neighborhood theater. You can’t beat the prices and since they have 16 screens they are always showing all of the big blockbusters.
The matinée prices are $ 4.50!!! Full price for adults is also much, much cheaper than any Regal or AMC.
The concessions stand is a cafeteria style stand where you move down a line with products to grab on both sides of you. If both sides of the concessions stand aren’t open for business it can get backed up quickly so make sure you have time to wait in line. They have the regular movie theater concessions. Their popcorn is alright, not my favorite but it’s popcorn.
They have a few extended items for the stand including Starbucks coffee products and ice cream. Their super nachos are my favorite but are so big I have never been able to finish them.
It was remodeled a few years ago and is much more comfortable now! All stadium seating with high backed leatherette seats.
The picture and sound are both much improved since the remodel as well.
The only complaint I have is that the restrooms are ALWAYS dirty. I know it has to be hard to keep an eye on payroll while having the restrooms checked every once in a while but they often looked very neglected by cleaning crews. Maybe figure out a set schedule for them to be checked?
Even with the backed up concessions line and the restrooms, the prices will keep me coming back!

Went here recently for the $ 4.25 movie Tuesdays (all Century Theaters have discount Tuesdays, this one happens to be near work).
Fairly recently renovated, and the theaters are lettered, not numbered anymore.
During the film an usher would come in (I think in rounds, as it was about every 10 mins), and walk up the stairs, and then dip across the screen to push on the emergency exit. I know this theater wants people to feel safe, but it was a little unnerving, and distracting (but the usher was trying to be discreet, I know).
I would go again because $ 4.25 movies! Who doesn’t love a swinging deal?!

Century is my go-​to movie theater. Best ticket prices in the city, especially matinée. Very clean, recently renovated, and the seats are very comfortable. Don’t let what happened here in the past deter you from coming here and enjoying this great theater. Minus 1 star because they staff the concessions with moronic teenagers who don’t have a clue (but it really doesn’t matter because we ALL sneak outside food/​drink in here… don’t lie).

I come to this movie theater all the time. It’s conveniently located like 3 blocks from my house too. Every time I’ve been in, even if the line for tickets is long, they’ve been really fast to serve. The concessions stand is really fast as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the concessions stand was ridiculously messy. Also, because the girl at the register miscounted my change like 5 times haha. It’s easy math so maybe that’s why. I was annoyed. Other than that I really love this place. It’s probably my favorite movie theater to go to.

GET IT TOGETHER!!! First they didn’t know how to take our passes then the concessions was a complete train wreck! They moved so slow-​obviously hate their jobs. Also acted so confused no matter what someone ordered. Starbucks part needs to be separated from other food-​takes up even more time. Arrived to our movie over 20 minutes late. Will NOT be coming back here… and if I do by some miracle-I’ll come here 2 hrs in advance, maybe then I’ll only be a few minutes late seeing my movie. Deserve zero stars.

Cheap movie tickets! $ 9 for 2 people?! Talk about a cheap date. I had no idea this was THE theatre untill afterwards. I actually didn’t watch a movie here, my friends did I went across the street to do some shopping. Came on a wednesdsy afternoon wasn’t too busy so tickets were easy to come by

Great theater to see a movie in! It’s terrible what happened here, but Century Theaters has done a wonderful job on the «facelift» and giving this place a new look and feel. They are less expensive than other theaters, but certainly don’t deliver an inferior experience. Their concession stand can handle any crowds I’ve seen and they have more choices than most places. Definitely no reasons to skip this theater!

Great theater! Always clean and relatively uncrowded, and the seats are pretty decent. They’re not the huge recliners in some theaters, but their matinée prices are $ 4.50! $ 4.50 I said! That’s half the price of most others.
The best thing about this place besides the price? The snack options. I can’t list them all because I honestly can’t count them all, but there’s a lot. They have all the standard stuff but then so much more. Love it.
They also have a pretty sweet deal in January where if you buy a bucket of popcorn and a soda and keep the bucket and cup t bring back again, they’ll fill them up for half price.

I like to live dangerously, so I visited this place, since I was already staying in Aurora. There were cops hanging around and walking back and forth. The matinée was only $ 4.50 so that was a great deal. The Cinemark special is if you buy a tub of popcorn, it is $ 6.50 and as long as you bring the tub in, it is $ 3 until Jan 2015. The same applies for the drink, but if you drank that much soda, you make have to make a couple of pitstops during the movie.
The theater seats were pretty nice and looked like new leather seats similar to the brown BMW leather seats, but more comfortable.
We saw Wolf of Wall Street which was a great movie and the sound/​picture was great.
When I was leaving, I asked a cop which theater has the shooting, to which he replied, he doesn’t know, he was around when it happened. I followed up with is there a section closed off, to which he replied that they refurbished all the theater rooms.
Can’t beat the bang for the buck. At this point, it is probably the safest theater with the cops constantly patrolling it.

It was with mixed emotion I entered the building. A place that holds so many good memories for me and such horrific ones for others is once again open.
Super Bowl Sunday was the perfect time for me to see a movie. Wasn’t really interested in what was happening on the grid iron so I went to the silver screen instead.
I had anticipated this moment for months. How would I feel? Would the friends I saw weekly behind the counter have come back? While I didn’t personally know any of those who were fatalities or injured, I did know many of the employees and was concerned for their well-​being.
Once through the doors I could immediately see the differences of the renovated theater. It was wonderful to see although a lot of things had changed, some remained the same. The smiling faces of the people I knew were still there. Virginia the ticket taker now has a great chair and desk of her own. This familiar face started to take some of the anxiety away. I was greeted with a squeal of joy and a big hug from her. I was really glad she was there and ok. Next up the concessions stand; again I was greeted by a familiar face. Lily… our favorite friend who makes the best White Chocolate Mocha Frapachino’s going was back in charge of the Starbucks in the lobby. Everything was bright, shiny and spotless.
Here is the best deal going. You purchase for 6.00 each a reusable popcorn bucket and drink cup. Upon your returns for the rest of the year you can refill each of these for 3.00 each. Over a year seeing 1 movie a week x 2 people it figured out to be about a 624.00 savings at the concessions stand. Yes, you ready that right. Per person it’s about a 6.00 savings per visit X 2 X 52 = 624.00. We have been doing this for years, it’s a bit to get used to taking them with you each time but you do. Wash them out, throw them back in the car for next time.
The theaters have been changed from Numeric to Alphabetic coding. We were on our way the Theater B, a smaller one in the back corner. The smell of new carpeting surrounded you the whole way there. Along the way I noticed some great new high back benches, and a neat little new edition was a party room. It was decorated in Happy Birthday theme and the table was set with hats and plates. It’s a great idea to let someone clean up after the kid’s party and leave your house in one piece.
The new seating is great, big comfy leatheresque chairs that hold you nicely. The arms go completely up and do not impede your seating once lifted. My companion was nice enough to indulge my need for a little research and more than happy to participate in the following experiment: The snuggle factor; Ladies, I am happy to report they are lovely. The arms rise up and even back a little so there isn’t that uncomfortable edge to deal with. They work for simple hand holding, a little arm around and pull you close action and even the ever popular «put your head on my shoulder». It all works.
The seats also seem to be at a good height to help prevent the head in your way in front of you thing. Weren’t a lot of people in the theater on Super bowl Sunday so that will have to be tested a bit more at a later date. Also now, a few times during the show I noticed an employee walk up each side of the theater and stand for a few moments, a security check of sorts.
My overall experience was one of joy and peace to see that people I cared about were safe and again able to make their living. For my own selfish reasons I am glad the doors are once again open but I am also glad that a community that was so devastated months earlier is allowed to heal and move on with their lives. I am happy that the bad decision and actions of one person is not winning against an entire community. We cannot keep closing down places that bad things happen as much as we may like to; we must continue to peruse and enjoy our freedom as a community.
