Twelve Hotels & Residences

This may rank up near the top 5 worst hotels at which I’ve ever stayed.
Planning to be in Atlanta for two weeks for work, I was seduced by the idea of having a full kitchen and living room to avoid the claustrophobia of a small hotel room. Upon arrival, to my dismay, my full kitchen was missing the basics — no pots, pans, skillet, spatulas, etc. I guess I should have packed my toaster in my carryon. When I asked the front desk that morning to bring up a basic kit, it never arrived. I asked again that evening and was handed a tub of old pots — but no skillet.
At check-​in I was asked if I wanted a city view or a pool view. I asked for the pool view. When I looked down from my balcony, I noticed she gave me the city view facing out onto the very noisy I-​75 interstate.
Valet parking is a disaster. One of the guys misplaced the keys to my rental car, making me wait over half an hour. It is an inefficient and cumbersome setup.
Last night, I came home from dinner to find five Atlanta PD cars in the motor lobby. Lord only knows what prompted their visit.
The last straw came this evening when I called down to Housekeeping. No one answered so I hit the Front Desk button. «Can you please send someone to my room? I’d like to have four shirts pressed.» This was a simple request I have made at countless hotels around the world. The response? «You have an iron in your closet!»
Needless to say, my corporate travel department is moving me out early. This is a really poorly run monstrosity. I will never come back.

Booked room day of arrival. Pleased by the quality and view. Nice accommodations for a couple. Bathroom was nice. Staff was very nice. Balcony offered a nice view. Bed was comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

After my stay, the General Manager of the hotel reached out to me in an effort to resolve the issues listed in my initial property review. He took appropriate action and we were able to reach an amicable conclusion. As a result, I’m open to staying at this, and other Twelve properties in the future.

Great hotel. It is beautiful and very clean (most important).
The front desk staff and valet staff are very helpful and professionally courteous.
The room is very comfortable and well designed for space. The Wi-​Fi is easy to access and is very stable.
The hotel is all suites with full kitchen which is great but you do have to request pots and pans rather than them just being provided which is more typical.
Valet is approximately $ 25 per day. Not bad because I’m sure self parking would be impossible. Also they don’t provide complementary toiletries. I needed a toothbrush and was charged for it. I’m not complaining but its unusual for hotel to not provide it free.
No indoor pool. The outdoor pool looked very nice but was too chilly for me to try.
Only «problem» I had was the sheet kept coming off the bed and I wondered why. When finally looked at it I noticed there was no fitted sheet. Just a flat sheet tucked under the mattress. Weird.
Location is great. It is in walking distance to all of the main attractions. Great restaurants are also within walking distance. The choice of nearby restaurants is great too. high end steakhouses to quick cheap eats. The CVS down the street is another plus.
Overall a great hotel. I think it is a great value. I’ve been to much more expensive hotels that aren’t even close to being this quality.
Will definitely stay again if ever go back to ATL.

Over 1000 dollars spent for 4 days and the service was horrible. Rooms only made up for aesthetics. Traveled here to get relaxation, got my room and had to switch 4 times because of thermostat. in the midst of the restaurant never having people there and yet and still food was cold from room
Service.

I love the convenience of Twelve! You can walk to Publix, movie theatre, many restaurants, and clothing shopping!

The price of the room does not rate the quality. The sofa bed springs were hanging out the sides. We had to take the comforter off the king bed & fold it in half with another blanket on top of it, to put on top of the pullout mattress in order to sleep on it.
We stayed on the 3^rd floor & I constantly heard a car alarm. Although my car was in Valet, I thought I should go check after 15 mins. YES, IT WAS MINE! No one called. Security was sitting in the lobby playing on his cell phone & was annoyed with me asking about my car & waved at me to go find Valet. (NOT LOOKING UP AT ME ONE TIME). After I fixed the problem with my car, & came back inside, I was not acknowledged by FD staff nor Security to make sure all was ok. This is after hours, when the doors are looked.
At checkout, when I asked to speak to a Manager to advise of these things, the agent left then came back & said they were not available.
The rooms are nicely decorated though.

Awesome floorplans. The food is amazing especially the salad and sushi (you must try it!!!).
They allowed me to use their copy machine downstairs when I had office work to do (just ask them for it!). Beautiful place and their room coffee is good. Great place to stay.

worst hotel ever, left our room twice today to return without maid service, we even call and schedule a time that we would be out the second time but no result, what kind of management do they have runnig this place, gladly take your money and not supply you your service, ripp-​off, not worthy of a star, but you have to give a fake one to submit, yes sad

The hotel Staff was very beautiful especially the lady whom assisted us Friday October 16^th and Monday Oct 19, 2015. Sorry I didn’t get her name but she was the only female working the desk those both days the other were men.
She accommodated us with a roll-​away bed and any other simply request we had.
What I enjoyed the most was her asking us over and over we we having a great time and what are we doing next. She has this huge genuine smile, which was pleasant.
It was my best friends birthday weekend and over 20+ girls came in to visit. Some ladies flew in from Dallas and Oklahoma and a couple of ladies drove 12 hours from Dallas Texas. A couple of local lady’s visit also who were locals.
The staff I saw to bring in towels to changing bed clothing to just a smile in the hallway was awesome. Good old-​fashioned customer service always wins.
My friend Londee (birthday girl) whom lives Ga was excited and pleased at having our room available before check in.
The young lady at the front desk deserves all the kudos.
Hopefully my husband and I can visit Atlanta Georgia again and stay there at Twelve Hotel.
The weekend was magical.

I recently stayed at the Twelve Hotel Centenial Park for a weekend business trip in Atlanta. The room was very nice and spacious. Kitchen was great with updated stainless appliances. Shower was huge. Lots of space in the room/​suite. Furniture was also very nice.
The only drawback was that the glass sliding doors (floor to ceiling) would creak as the wind blew. I heard them a number of times during the night, but no biggie. Other people from my company were woken up often during the night and were irritated with this.
Bar was nice and the front desk people were ok, but not great.
If I go to Atlanta again I would definitely stay there again.

I was treated here by my company for a mini-​holiday party lunch. Despite all the hype, I wasn’t too impressed.
It started with parking. Being attached to a hotel, you’d think it’d be easy given the parking deck, but it wasn’t. There were two paths, one for residents and the other for guests. And the guest parking was only available through valet. So our team sat there in the car waiting for valet to take the car, but no one was there and no valet team was in sight. We sat there for almost 10 minutes. We finally gave up and parked at the meter on the street to make our reservation time.
The inside is very calming. Being in downtown Atlanta, the calming environment was very welcoming. A lot of natural lighting and neutral colors made the space look larger.
We weren’t seating immediately, despite having a reservation. The place wasn’t too busy and our table was in clear view from the hostess podium. Instead, we had to wait 10 minutes for them to «clean» even though no one went to the table.
When seated, our server arrived immediately. He brought waters for everyone and mentioned the daily special. He was very helpful in answering any questions.
After going around the table, I ordered the Cobb Salad with no bleu cheese and a Coke Zero.
Cobb Salad — chicken, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon, red onion, medium poached egg and balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
^ The Cobb Salad was as expected — all cobb-​y. The chicken was dry though, the salad would have been better without it. The poached egg was pretty good, despite my skepticism.
Our server was very attentive and made sure all drinks were filled, all questions answered, empty plates were removed promptly and bagged our food in to-​go boxes. He was the highlight.
Will I be back? Seriously doubt it. I wouldn’t make the drive.

This place recent went through some serious water damage that the maintenance team probably peeled off the wall paper from parking deck to the 8^th floor. Please fix it soon because the walls look terrible!
Also the club room says it’s open until midnight. I guess if has been temporarily closed due to the water damage or something because I cannot swipe into the club room.

Very nice hotel very well managed good environment clean when you stay at this hotel asked for Xavier at the front desk very polite person and helpful.

I ABSOLUTELY love this hotel now. The entire experience was wonderful. The valet parking guys were awesome, the front desk reps were very helpful and attentive. I was only suppose to have 6 people in my room but I ended up having more because I was throwing my daughter a slumber party, and they didn’t charge me extra for it. The suite itself was very breathtaking. I had a nice size kitchen with all the proper amenities and I loved the bathroom. I think this was my favorite part of the suite. The view of downtown Atlanta made the experience just that much better. For the price of the room it was well worth it in my opinion.

Interesting hotel/​residence set up.
We stayed here over a weekend in the hotel rooms. The rooms were OK, especially considering the higher rates.
Having the kitchen in the room was convenient, but I found the décor too cold and bare.

Amazing hotel room with kitchen amenities. Great walking distance for restaurants and bars. The room has ample space, it felt like I was in one of the condo units there. Staff is very attentive. I will be staying here again when I am in Atlanta.

Came by for NYE since some of our friends actually live here. The view is amazing! Gorgeous view of Atlanta. I fell in LOVE with the idea of living here, but. due to limited parking, I doubt it, since I love having friends over.
Parking.
Since it’s a hotel, they valet only. Unless you’re a resident and you have a keycard to get in to the the parking garage. Be careful if you’re trying to be sneaky. We saw a G35 booted when we came downstairs to let some more friends in. By the time we got there, parking was full, so we, and a bunch of other folks, parked in nearby parking lots. Luckily, it was only $ 5.
Elevators
You cannot use the elevators unless you have a keycard, which is awesome for safety reasons :] However, our friends had to actually walk us to the elevator when we wanted to leave, which can be quite a hassle since there were so many of us leaving at different times.
Overall, I met great new friends for 2013, and got closer to those I weren’t so close too. Had an amazing night, and hopefully, I get to keep in touch with some of the new people I met :]

Beautiful hotel, great location and we got a darmned good rate on
. We found the place easily and after we valeted the car we checked in and were upgraded to a suite (sweet!). The woman at the front counter was helpful and welcoming and the valet was great too. The room was beautiful, I loved the décor and the place is spacious and the fact that there is a full kitchen is a huge plus. Add to the fact that the kitchen is actually nice and well appointed as opposed to what you usually find at most places it was a really great touch.
OK, the room is straight-​up chilly in here. The living room area has a sliding glass door and it is so poorly insulated so with it being late December in GA and the fact that it’s about 30 – 40 degrees makes it REALLY chilly. We adjusted the heat and it just isn’t helpful. The bedroom is comfortable and it’s nice and clean (this is a big issue for my wife) so that is great, the pillows could be better but aren’t bad.
Overall, I really love this place and if we are back in Atlanta again we would probably come back too. Great staff and great location.

Very Safe and secure place to live! I love coming here to visit my friends… It’s a high rise condominium so the view is great! Very conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with minutes away from your nightlife spots and restaurants.
They have a tikki bar, and sweet/​kind/​respectful professional concierge staff.
I take a star away because they are VERY VERY STRICT ON PARKING! your car WILL GET BOOTED!!! do not park in any illegal spot, read the signs prior to parking, if not get ready to pay $ 75! (I know! I have done it twice!) Also I hate that visitors have to pay soo much for parking here… They definitely should get something where there are free visitor parking spots. Even if the residents here give you validation, its not like the validation for them was free either (They prob get 10% off from the price that you have to pay)
At the end of the day, I love coming here!
